This place is VERY GOOD for Mexico. Believe me. I'm a Japanese & Sushi connoisseur and I have had…read moreall sorts (the "real deal" as well as "fusion") all around the world. Mexico is unfortunately notorious for having the worst "sushi" or "Japanese" food, lol. In general, they have no idea how to make it... ! But this place had some of the best fusion rolls I have had. Also, very fresh sushi/fish/seafood. I did NOT do the fire-thing which so many people decide to do, which of course is always a bad decision. If you WANT to go to Benihana, then go there! LOL. Only criticism is the tempura was served lukewarm and soggy. Note: I was with a party of 10 people, and we ordered a TON of dishes to share around the table. As such, I got a really good perspective on their food, service, etc. Service was awesome for us. Only other negative (but this does NOT affect the rating) were all the entitled people dining there from Mexico City, lol. And I thought that SoCal people were spoiled and entitled! Somehow this place seems to attract similar from Mexico City, LOL. I would come back here in a heartbeat. YES, it is pricey, but I don't care about that. I care about the quality of food, the service, etc. One star dinged because some of the rolls were very "similar" in that they were too sweet with the same eel sauce on them, and the tempura was soggy/lukewarm. I've gone to plenty of so-called Asian or "sushi" places in Mexico, (including very high-end ons), and this one is the best, so far.

This is one of the best Brazilian steakhouses I've ever been to. We were shopping at the centro…read moreSante Fe mall and decided to eat here for lunch. The meat here is absolutely delicious. Tender and perfectly seasoned. There is a very large variety of meat ranging from chicken, pork, lamb, to beef. There are many different parts of each type of meat. For example beef ribs, top sirloin, beef neck, chicken heart. They were all worth trying! The beef is especially amazing. Another very cool aspect of this steakhouse was the freshly made salsa. You get to choose your own ingredients and they make the salsa right there in front of you. It is simply amazing! Super aromatic and flavorful. I was basically drooling as they were making the salsa...the smell was too amazing. They had all different types of peppers, salt, garlic, onions and tomatoes to make your salsa with. They service is also very good. The staff members are all very friendly and some of them also speak English. I definitely recommend this place! Lastly I have to let you know that the full menu price is only 395 pesos! That's about $20 USD ONLY! usually in America a for a restaurant of this quality is would easily cost around $60! There is tips and service fees added to the price after. Also water and soda all cost money so you might as well get soda. Our final bill came out to be about $28 per person with drink costs and tips.

I decided to order a Gin and Tonic to start. I was expecting a regular gin and tonic but what I got was way more. Before I know it they brought a cart full of different gins, mixers, dry herbs and fruits. All for to mix it with your gin. As expected the drink was fabulous. To start the meal we ordered Habugo ( Habugo is a type of prosciutto but the pig is fed all his life with only nuts. This gives a spectacular flavor). For the main course, we had KOBE beef. ( Kobe is a region in Japan. To be able to sell Kobe Beef you need a special permit and certification). This is very expensive meat so we order only 100g or 3.5 oz so we could try it. It was fantastic but very expensive. We probably paid 100 USD for that 3.5 oz. We also ordered a 35oz Ribeye to share with the whole table. By the end of the meal we were so full we decided not to order any divert. But, as a courtesy from the restaurant the gave us some marsh mellows and a small fire to burn them in. Just like camping I thought. Over all it was a fantastic meal. They play 80's videos all night long. Good flash back. Another thing I really liked is the smoking area. They have a terrific covered deck. There you could Enjoy a cigar with your meal. For a meal of 3 and drinks we payed $350 including tip. So I think it's pretty reasonable. Sorry for the long review :)
