On the other side is the shop, which sells confectionary, tobacco, newspapers and small items of other things such as bread, milk, eggs etc. Its slightly out of town, making it easy if you dont want to go all the way into town. Its one of the few smaller shops around that open late, normally until 10pm. Seahorse is a tidy, well organised little shop and takeaway, with friendly, chatty staff and good products. Its a shame there arent more around like it!

Strangely for McDonalds, this is a really nice restaurant. We use the drive through for than eat…read morein, but that is great too. We often buy the kids lunch on the way back from shopping at the weekend, and the staff are friendly, quick and rarely make mistakes. They even helped us get a better deal (and thus spent LESS money) at the drive through once. They have the usual breakfast menu and burger menu, and do all the specials. They always give the kids different toys in their happy meals which is great and something the other branches dont think about.

He, his wife and children (toddlers at the time) were such wonderful people. No Chinese place in America (that I've had) can compare to Rising Star. So many times I have wished to travel back to the UK just for my favorite meal "Spiced Smoked Chicken".
