Majo and Hellen guided us every step of the way, helping us shape our Modern Spanish aesthetic while creating a detailed design plan for our contractor. With both of us working full-time, their expertise saved us countless hours and headaches. One of the biggest renovation challenges is dealing with overwhelming choices. Design Loft curated a few perfect options for everything--paint colors, light fixtures, cabinets, tiles--allowing us to make decisions efficiently while staying true to our vision. Their value went far beyond aesthetics. They caught several contractor mistakes that could have caused major issues and connected us to great vendors that helped us find the best deals. Here's something important: without a skilled designer, contractors often take the easiest route rather than creating the high-end look you're envisioning. At times we questioned our choices, but trust the process! Everything came together beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the result. If you're planning a renovation, working with Design Loft is a no-brainer. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to create designs perfectly tailored to your taste make them invaluable. Highly recommend Majo, Hellen, and the entire team!

That is something that was unique to Design Loft. Helen and Majo walked us through the whole process and built a room and generated a 3D layout and it was awesome! So cool to see it go from a design to reality! I would totally recommend Design Loft to anyone looking to design something special! Let them make your vision even better and transform it to reality.

SHORT REVIEW: 10/10 experience with designer Sandra Blank! You won't find a more talented and fun…read moredesigner than her!!! LONG REVIEW: Home remodeling can be one of the most STRESSFUL and time-consuming projects you will ever embark upon! I'd rather have 4 root canals done at the same time without local anesthesia!! That's how much I was looking forward to our recent full-home remodel after hearing horrible stories from friends and neighbors about their experiences. I spent weeks researching and then interviewing 7 different designers to land the right one for our job. Boy, did we hit the jackpot with Sandra Blank of Blank Space Designs in Los Gatos!! Sandra was the perfect combination I needed: expertise in the field, outstanding vendor contacts (everyone loves her!), excellent communication skills, calmness and humor! All at a very reasonable price that fit my tight budget. INCREDIBLY ENJOYABLE & FUN is how I would describe the design process with Sandra. She helped me to create a design style, then delivered 3D photo realistic slides to bring our remodel to life! Sandra worked collaboratively with me and our contractor to implement in a timely manner. I looked forward to every single appointment we had at our home, her studio and onsite at cabinet & tile/stone businesses, etc. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SANDRA FOR ANY DESIGN PROJECT! My experience and the outcome of our home design was so wonderful that I have recommended her to every friend, neighbor (and random stranger at slab yards) planning a remodel. I was so fortunate that another Yelper was willing to provide their specific experience to help me decide on hiring Sandra. I am happy to do the same, so feel free to reach out to me.

My contractor needed me to purchase all the materials before the project could begin, but I didn't know where to shop, what to choose, or how much to buy. Sandra was a lifesaver. She came prepared with a full design presentation that perfectly captured the look I was going for. She knew exactly where it made sense to invest in high-end fixtures and where we could find great bargains without compromising the aesthetic. She also tracked down the exact marble I had fallen in love with from my inspiration photo--something I would have never been able to do on my own. I wasn't even sure what type of material it was in the photo! In the end, I got the bathroom I had always dreamed of. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

We went to her after comparing quotes from different dealers. She went with great details that compared semi-custom cabinet proposals (look and quote) and full-customize cabinet proposals (look and quote) in order to balance our budget and design. It is much easier for us to make final kitchen decisions thanks to these efforts! Linlin visited our site 3 times for measurements, material selection, and after -sale service.  Thanks for her very detailed effort, no design mistakes in our full-customized kitchen cabinet (We do have very specific demand on  different-cabinets-aligning-door-split-look and highly customized 4 rounded island designs). She double checked every detail of our fully customized drawings in the designing stage, which prevent mistakes in the installation. We heard a lot of errors and dramas in building new homes caused from careless from the front design stage, and are glad we experienced none. Linlin is always there for the after-sale service. The manufacturer shipped us the wrong hinge model for one cabinet arm. She spent time with us verifying the correct model, and quickly requested for us new arms for free.  Again, I highly recommend Linlin, who helps our dream-kitchen-to-a-reality process much easier and pleasant. She is a reliable kitchen designer to go to and I can't remommend her service enough!

She took my aesthetics and ideas and skillfully incorporated them into a design that felt deeply "us," while elevating everything in ways I couldn't have achieved on my own. We now have more space, a peninsula where our whole family can eat, all without knocking down walls. This wasn't just a kitchen remodel for us; it was a kitchen that evolved with our family, and one we will enjoy for years to come as we move into the late elementary and junior high seasons of raising our kids. Patty and Kurt put their heart in the heart of the home! Patty said that "it takes a village," and that is exactly what this process felt like: a true village effort, thoughtfully coordinated to bring everything together beautifully.
