As someone who works full-time, has kids in many activities and a very full social calendar I love that I can do this for just me and I feel amazing every time I finish a class. The only negative comment I have is that classes fill up very quickly (I'm not the only one in love!) so it's important to stay on top of scheduling. The positive regarding scheduling is they have 20 to 30 classes a day throughout their Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee locations.

There were only a handful of us there for the trial, yet no one greeted us or really acknowledged us when we arrived. One of the employees was having a personal conversation with another employee about a friend's relationship issues. It may seem like a small thing, but as someone walking in for the first time and considering becoming a customer, it didn't make me feel particularly welcomed or like the focus was on the people who had come in to try the studio. The trial itself was only about 30 minutes, and we did what felt like maybe two stretches on the reformer. Most of the experience was spent explaining the studio and going over the different membership options. I completely understand that a business wants to introduce potential clients to its membership options, but I needed to actually experience a class before committing to a membership. I left with no real idea of what a full one-hour Pilates class would be like. Would it be a full-body workout? What types of exercises would we do? How much time would be spent on the reformer? I simply didn't know, so I wasn't comfortable signing up. I ended up trying an introductory class at another Pilates studio, and the difference was huge. I finally got to experience an actual Pilates workout and immediately thought, "Oh wow, I absolutely love this!" I ended up signing up for unlimited memberships for both myself and my daughter. I really think Club Pilates missed an opportunity here. If the goal of the free trial is to get people excited about Pilates and confident enough to join, they need to let people actually experience Pilates--not just give them a brief introduction followed by a membership presentation. At the end of every class, they give you a wipe and spray to wipe down the reformers/equipment. Which is much nicer than a simple disinfectant wipe because it feels like you're actually cleaning everything. Sometimes it's hard to get into a class, sometimes you get off the waitlist quickly. It just depends on who the instructor is. Madison and Jen have great workouts that give you enough time in between to catch your breath. If you're looking for a challenge, take one of Sydney's classes. She will definitely work you out! There are quite a few people who go here regularly and still don't have the correct form or they move a lot quicker than how the exercise is supposed to be performed, so that should say something about how often the instructors take the time to provide corrections.
