At the end of a long week a well deserved treatment at SkinVitality Medical Spa. One of many…read morelocations I choose the Richmond Hill location. My treatment for the day was a glycolic peel. I didn't know what to expect having never had one before. I was greeted at reception by Sarah and shown to a room to fill out a personal and medical questionnaire. My Aesthetician Caroline greeted me and we went into the treatment room. Caroline spent the next 10 minutes asking questions and filling out more forms. Shortly there after my treatment began. A quick cleanse of the skin and then the application of the glycolic peel solution. The procedure was short. I didn't notice anything different on my skin. I was told to expect some peeling of the skin, but to date I haven't seen anything. Caroline was a wealth of information. Any questions I had she answered. As a client I felt confident in my aesthetician. From her knowledge to her touch, I knew I was in good hands. Two negatives for me was; my eye makeup was not removed in the process, so I didn't feel my skin had been properly cleaned, and the residue from my makeup was still visible in the mirror; and the aesthetician used a thin rubber glove. I'm sure it was necessary but I didn't like the feel on my skin. As a bonus treat I was given an organza bag with a certificate towards another treatment, full size exfoliating scrub and sample Vitamin C oil. This is given to all new clients. Salon is very clean and the ambiance very relaxing. Definitely would recommend this location.

SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!!!! SKIN VITALITY CANNOT BE TRUSTED! AVOID this company if you're thinking of…read moreimproving your appearance. Read their reviews on Trust Pilot, Google, & Yelp, they may be manipulating reviews across different platforms! If they ask you to reach out don't be surprised if it takes a while to hear back or at all - you may get scammed & lied to! To learn how to file complaints, SCROLL DOWN. My review is based on how SV handles client concerns, & the REAL dangers you may encounter at any one of their clinics. They all appear to be operating under the same business model , at least according to their reviews. Their Richmond Hill location is also one of the worst "medical clinics" I've ever been to. I've had fraxel treatments completed before & after visiting SV - never once did I leave a clinic feeling as if my face was lit on FIRE until my last treatment with them (2022). They claim concerns were addressed, this is UNTRUE. So let's add gaslighting to the list of issues wrong with this company. I believe SV damaged my skin using a setting unsuitable for my skin type/condition. Two staff were present during my last session, a trainee & a trainer. Trainer walked in & asked if I had Melasma, which I thought was strange considering I've never had Melasma. This was also incorrectly noted in my file - showing incompetence on many levels. I also sustained facial injuries after they had a trainee work on my face - also without my consent. THEN I learned the doctor on record left the clinic in 2019. Consent forms were signed in 2021 by the way, so pretty sure falsifying medical records is also illegal, unless the doctor on record was receiving kickbacks - which is something I've also questioned. Aside from obtaining consent & payment through deceptive practices they also broke privacy laws by publishing my full, highly identifiable first name in their original google reply. This was left up for several days even after I told them it was a PHIPA violation. My name was only removed after they consulted a lawyer . They can't be trusted to uphold patient confidentiality, so you definitely can't trust them to safely & competently perform medical/cosmetic treatments of any kind. Before they were willing to issue a refund they wanted me to sign an NDA confirming I not talk about my experience, which I declined. I'm not a lawyer , but pretty sure companies can't force you to sign an NDA in exchange for a refund, this breaks consumer protection laws. IF YOU SIGNED AN NDA, YOU MAY BE ABLE TO BREAK IT. Review Ontario's anti - slapp laws like the Protection of Public Participation Act. Just make sure your opinions/experiences can be backed up with proof, (ex: emails, before and after photos, receipts, etc - document everything). On Nov 4, 2025 SV sent me an email threatening to sue. Sue me for what? Telling the truth? Warning others of their deceptive practices? Anyway, they have yet to sue - all bark no bite. Please note: if you get treated at a skin vitality clinic you may end up spending more time & money treating the areas their negligence may subject you to. If SV doesn't respond to your concerns in a timely manner don't wait to reach out to the following organizations for extra support: - Law Society of Ontario: to find a lawyer - ProBono Ontario: free legal advice- IPC to access your medical file - Ontario ministry of health - The BBB - your local Public Health Unit - Ministry of Public & Business Delivery (consumer protection) - the regulatory colleges of the professionals involved in your care (CNO/CPSO)- SMALL CLAIMS COURT- reach out to the Fifth estate, go public, cbc marketplace , they may be able to help SV has many clinics across Ontario & I wouldn't trust a single one as complaints & concerns are re-directed to "patient care" who will only use coercive tactics and threats to prevent consumers from speaking out. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY, if there's an issue with your treatment it's unlikely you'll see a refund unless you agree to stay silent about how awful they are! Don't buy their lies!

When you talk to the receptionist(s) on the phone, they are cold, uncaring, and plain rude! Yesterday, I left a message with them around 5pm. This morning, somebody returned my call at 7:55am! I have been a receptionist, and there is a rule that you don't call people before 9am. So I said, "you guys are surely early". Well, I wasn't exactly polite, but she didn't say anything, she should apologize or ask if she has woken me up, right? Customers are always right. This is the rule for retail and service industry. These people should be trained by a Japanese HR, because Japanese people smile and bow even when they are talking to customers on the phone. Even though the customers on the phone can't see them, the attitude and politeness is reflected in their voice. Okay, so in this clinic, rudeness starts at the front desk. One of the dermatologist, Dr. B, is world-class cold and arrogant, and she will explain something to you in 30 words. You are not encouraged to ask any questions. If you ask anything that has to do with a 2nd issue, you have to make another appointment. Even my family doctor, who took her kids to see Dr. B, can't stand her. You would think that doctors treat other doctors with more respect. Can you believe this?

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Plus, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a $30 massage- this is not where you should go, if you're looking for an afternoon of luxury, come here. You WONT regret it! The environment upstairs is soothing and extremely relaxing, I think I dozed off a little while waiting for my treatment (I arrived a little early). I wish that I could come back here on a regular basis! I was visiting my sister and don't live in the area, so regular visits are not an option, but I will ABSOLUTELY come back for spa days any time I come to town. I left feeling completely pampered after my massage and mani/pedi. Will try out new treatments next time I visit. Well Springs is going to be a staple whenever I come to town :)

Well Springs Spa is located on Yonge just South of Elgin Mills.. it is in little strip plaza. The waiting area is nice and roomy with European furnitures. There are a lot of information of Botox and how much for the session and unit costs on the counter.. The treatment room is upstairs... feels like an afterthought as it is not set up as a day spa. Me and my friend have the treatment in a little small room.. and the enironment is definitely not spa like! The one thing that really got on my nerve is they are playing the same CD which have songs that last for 30 min on repeat.. so for the 4 hours we were there we kept listening to same thing and the songs are badly put together some of them are even cut off in the middle! Anyway, the massage for 30 minute was the best part.. the rest kind of goes downhill... The facial was poorly done and so are the mani and pedi. And for nail colours they only have a handful to choose from !! (Nailsense is heaven!) My friend's nail colours were done worse than she would have done herself.. she was so nice not to complain but she went home and remove them all and redo it herself! I will definitely not going back there for any day spa package, even with any coupon!!

This was my first time getting the Indian head massage so I'm not experienced in this category, but what I experience was some head scratching and a lot of hot oil poured onto the head which didn't do anything for me and def not something I'd pay for again. The worst part is that they let you leave with soaking oily hair! I asked the masseuse about this and she said usually people book the shower room after which I didn't know about till after the fact. The exterior is cute, a house transformed into an office with parking spots outside. Inside is dated and can def use updating. For those of you from the USA pls know that RMT are considered health workers so no tip is needed, it's like giving a tip to your doctor. You can if you want to but it isn't expected.
