This is a great place for lashes! I've had a full lash set and a lash lift done by Amanda and I was super happy with the results! With a full set of lash extensions I never had to wear mascara and they lasted over a month. Also, while the extensions are being put on, it's so relaxing I actually fell asleep! I just had the lash lift and I think I'm hooked! I don't have to use a lash curler anymore, just mascara. I love the environment, everyone is so nice. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed :) read more

I have been going to Amber Bixler for over a year now and I am always amazed at how wonderful I feel after her massages. Yesterday I purchased a package to get a massage and facial. Holy cow. I floated out of the shop. I have also taken Amber's yoga classes. Want to feel amazing and confident in your yoga? Take her beginners course and then check out the other classes she offers. I never felt vulnerable or uncomfortable during any of the services. I always feel beautiful when I walk out. read more

Thank goodness for Amber Bell! I got my eyelash extensions done by her around three weeks ago and I have so much good to say about my experience! To start, she is the sweetest thing that has ever graced this planet and is so committed to giving you the look you want to achieve! I didn't want a natural look like I had just swiped on a coat of mascara, however I was looking for something that stood out but didn't look noticeably fake. I haven't had to wear mascara in weeks and I couldn't be happier! My natural lashes won't hold a curl no matter how much I curl them, even if I use a primer or heat up my eyelash curler, they go flat in about an hour. They are quite pricey for the full set, but the refills are much cheaper, so over time they cost about the same as other salons that advertise a lower price for a full set. Backstory: I got lash extensions a few months prior and the woman glued numerous lashes together and made them all the same length. They ended up falling out in clusters about a week later and I was left with lashes maybe a centimeter long. This place was in AG and the lash stylist did not have an esthetician's license, so the best thing I could suggest is to check for that before you get your lashes done because these are your eyes you're messing with! Anyways, Amber did an AMAZING job and played great music while she applied my set. We were talking a lot of time, but there were definitely moments when I nodded off. The whole application of a full set lasted around and hour and a half and my time slot was two hours, so I didn't feel rushed or like Amber was rushing to finish. I really cannot recommend her enough! If you're considering getting eyelash extensions in SLO or nearby, definitely go to Amber Bell at Elevenses. read more

Studio Selah - LOVE MY LASHES!!! Thank you Amber Bell! - Eyelash Service Near Me - San Luis Obispo, California

Amber provides a quality and security that is beyond words. I feel comfortable and relaxed every time I leave her table. She also happens to be a well accomplished yoga instructor, and I think that really helps her understanding of human anatomy. She has been able to help me improve posture and issues with TMJ that other muscle therapists have not been able to do. I am grateful for the consistent service I receive, and will continue to see Amber as long as she is practicing near me :) read more

Amber Bixler is a magician! I have had hundreds of massages in my life, and after the first one I ever received from Amber, it felt like the first. Somehow she is able to do intense deep tissue work without feeling like someone punched you the next day. She's incredibly intuitive and communicates throughout the massage, which I feel is super important, especially with deep tissue work. She has done some tremendous work on the tension in my lower back and hips, and her prices are reasonable considering the magic she can work! If you work business hours, be sure to try and book ahead, as after work is her most coveted appointment slot. Elevenses also sells Intelligent Nutrients products and oils, which I love. Could not be happier with this bodyworker! read more

I just received my first massage from Tenli at Elevenses Mind & Body and she has set the bar very high. I've had a couple massages since I moved into the SLO from a few different massage therapists and she is my new Gold Standard. Tenli paid so much attention to detail and was able to help me gain a better knowledge of what is going on with my body. It was evident that Tenli's knowledge superseded that of a traditional massage therapist, and I couldn't be more grateful. The entire environment at Elevenses was a unique and one that everyone should experience. I'd highly recommend Tenli to all of my friends and family. read more

Great dermaplanning with Amber. FYI, there are two Ambers here. Equally awesome I hear! :) Amber is very attentive and wants you to enjoy your experience with her. She's careful to do everything as you wish. read more

I'm not writing a review because I want to keep it a secret how amazing Amber is. The best massage therapist on earth.

I only use Amber Bell for my facials and I book those things monthly like clock work. I thought I would just have terrible pores forever, but this girl has worked MAGIC on my face. I am super allergic to most things, but she uses products that soothe my skin and has gone out of her way to make sure that I feel comfortable with what she is putting on my skin. She is also just amazing to be around, so not only do I get an amazing facial for an hour but we get to chat or I just get to be in her super soothing presence. She is seriously the perfect facialist. I wouldn't recommend anyone else as an esthetician, AND she also does the best eyelash extensions. This girl is a win win and I am so happy I found her!! Really excited to get a massage by the other Amber too! read more

One of the best places to get a massage. Amber has been my masseuse for a couple years now. She definitely utilizes her great massage skills and immense knowledge of physiology to help work out any kinks. At the start of every session she sits down with you to figure out what is going in your body. Then she caters her massage to help in the areas you need it most. After many years of sports injuries, an active lifestyle, and working hunched over I have developed plenty of upper back and shoulder issues. After every session with her she is able to get my shoulders back where they belong. On top of that her new studio space is amazing. If you are in need of a massage this is the place! read more

Just had my first massage by Amber in Elevenses new location on Upham, and...it was SO good! The new studio is beautiful - the colors and decor automatically soothing. And Amber left me feeling super great by the end of my massage! She is warm and kind and lovely, and really paid attention to my body, i.e. she wasn't just going through standard motions. I've got weird things going on in my back, and she recognized that and treated it with compassion and warmth and focus. Love this place, and Amber! Am looking forward to trying their aesthetician for a facial next! read more

I've worked in the spa business for the last 6 years and I was nervous upon moving to SLO from AZ, to find a new esthetician to do my lash fills. I researched and found Amber Bell, and I am thrilled bc I hit the jackpot! She is spectacular, professional, reliable and adorable. Not only does she do a fabulous job on my lashes (and I know because I have had lash extensions on for 2 years), but I can easily make it a full three weeks between fills. She has a flexible schedule, and can fit this single working mom in always. The time goes by so quickly because she has such a nice, easy, friendly rapport with her clients. From the first day, I felt like I've known her for years. Also, Elevenses is an eclectic and calming cozy quiet place in a very interesting artsy neighborhood (near downtown) with unique character. read more

Amber is the absolute best! I've had two herniated discs and sciatica for over seven years, and sometimes I'll get knotted up and be in a lot of pain, but when I go to Amber I leave feeling like a new person. She has been my masseuse for almost a year and I won't go to anyone else. She's excellent and really pays attention to your needs. In addition, the new location is warm and beautiful. This is the place to go :) read more

Elevenses has been my go to for massage services for about three years. I cannot overstate this at all: Amber and staff are simply the best! For athletes or anyone who works out for physical fitness, treat your body to a relaxing hour long full body massage and feel your body heal. Elevenses has helped me sleep better, solved cramping problems and balanced my hips and lower back. Amber is the best in the business, that is what I was told and that is what I have learned myself. read more

There are just a few places that make you feel like Elevenses. When you close the door behind you, you leave your cares at the door and enter a truly lovely space. Kind, beautiful, and gracious practitioners greet you and treat you to a spa experience. I have been getting eyelash extentions from the Lovely Amber Bell. She is so good at what she does and cracks me up during my most enjoyable appointments. Always leave feeling doe eyed. Highly reccomend. Next up, a massage from the lovely owner Amber Bixler. I understand they are wonderful! read more

My wife had a great experience with Amber. Amber was attentive and caring in her approach to body work and really helped work out some problem spots. Sarah highly recommends her. Amber Bixler has been my massage therapist for the last three years and my experiences with her have been nothing less than amazing! I've sent her a least a handful of my friends and always get the same response after an Amber visit, "Best massage of my life". This gal is truly one of a kind! read more

Amber Bixler is truly amazing. Every time I get a massage from her, she is very in-tune with what's going on with my body, and has made me feel AMAZING after every massage. Her hands are so strong, yet gentle and comforting. It's truly a one of a kind experience, which is why there is a waiting list to see her! Can't wait to get back in there. Thank you! read more

Amazing experience and so needed! Wow! Amber Spring Bixler is incredible! I had so many kinks and tight muscles and now I feel like a new person! I highly recommend Elevenses for your next massage. They use jojoba oil that makes your skin feel baby soft. I need to make coming here a priority for me. read more

I got a second massage from Tenli. She is wonderful, very knowledgeable, she found my trigger points and worked on them kindly but with the exact amount of deep pressure, much needed in my case. I have a very stressed out back and shoulders, from working at a desk all day plus from working out as well. I had other massages from different people in the past, every time I left with a disappointment feeling. The first time I got a massage from Tenli I felt so good that I came back to her. Highly recommend her. read more

Started being very active getting back in shape. Amber is so helpful as my muscles and body adjust. Very calming and peaceful sessions! I go about twice a month right now! read more

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! AMBER is very UNPROFESSIONAL! $200 wasted! If you really want to experience eyelash extensions, GO ELSEWHERE! She took 40 minutes to complete a process that when done correctly should take at least 1 to 2 hours. Lots of uncomfortable tugging and pulling during process, but figured it was normal (by the way, I was wrong). A few of my top lash extensions were glued to my bottom lashes (notice the missing eyelashes in picture). I contacted her immediately and did NOT receive a response (she only contacted me 3 weeks later to remind me of my next appt). I felt so much discomfort, so I had to get help. I ended up finding another person. THANK GOD for Tami @ The Talk of the Town. She questioned Amber's certification after she took a look at the lash extensions and found so many were glued together in LUMPS. A horrible job Amber Bell! No other choice, but to remove them. Take a look at the pictures. BEWARE! read more
