There are so many different classes some from beginners to advanced, outdoor and on paddle boards, special events and yoga teacher trainings, which deepen your knowledge of yoga. My husband and I took the big step of becoming 200-hour yoga teachers at this studio and I can't say enough positive things about that experience. The quality of the teachers is amazing. They are always giving pointers to correct your form so you have a safer yoga practice and giving you the freedom to do what feels best for your b. My favorite classes are the yin, meditation and mixed level. Conveniently located in the strip mall on Hwy 96, this studio has a small grassy area for outdoor yoga and two studios inside. You never have to worry about getting a parking spot - there's plenty. You have the option of an unlimited monthly membership or you can buy a block of class passes. Another cool feature of this studio is that you can reserve a seat in class using the Mind Body app. Check out their website for classes, special events, and a little bit about each instructor. My latest favorite thing is their online studio where I can access many pre-recorded classes for when I am out of town. As a result of COVID-19, the studio also offers live classes via Zoom, that I take advantage of whenever I can.

I don't often review things on Yelp but these classes are so good I feel it's necessary to crow…read more I'm from California, and each time I visit my friends & family in north suburban St. Paul I make it a point to attend these excellent classes (time and schedule permitting). The Tuesday morning classes are at the golf club in North Oaks, very convenient for me, and the East Rec Bldg is a great space with natural light on Wednesday evenings. The instructor is very supportive and takes a hands-on approach, wich I find very helpful for achieving the right poses and technique. Breathing is hard to master, but once you get it, it makes a big difference, and this instructor was especially helpful in taking me to that next level. Five stars!

I actually love love love White Bear club Pilates…read more I've taken 40 classes so far And noticed a huge difference I've had two knee replacements, a bone removed from my thumb, I didn't know what I could do, but I needed to make a difference in my body. White Bear club Pilates has helped me to get stronger, works on my core, stability, It's a body and mind out my chiropractor noticed a difference. I noticed a difference in my walking and the way I feel. The instructors are fabulous They keep an eye on you to make sure you're doing the exercises correctly, which is so important!! I would never do any of these exercises at a "gym" the reformer makes a huge difference I look forward to taking classes. I highly recommend taking an intro class, you will be glad you did.

I get much of my exercise in my home gym and outside when it's nice, but MN winters are not nice. It's hell out there. If you feel the same, you should checkout this place. I was browsing Groupon fitness deals and found Shape Me Group Fitness and went on their site to find out what classes they offer. There's a good variety from Zumba, Turbo Kick, Latin Hip Hop, Mat Pilates, Yoga etc. I went through with my purchase. I was nervous my first time, I went with a Zumba class. All of the instructors are really nice and don't make you feel like a beginner. They make it a point to let you know that no one cares what you look like doing it as long as you're doing it correctly and not injuring yourself. They want to make sure you're getting a good workout, and you're having fun. Which was great because I totally thought I had the moves down, then looked at myself in the mirror and I'm pretty sure I was just running in place and flailing my arms around. It doesn't matter though because everyone else is too busy keeping up, they're not watching you. The classes are always filled with a decent amount of people. You always have room, but you're never looking around like "dang I'm the only person in the mirror." The studio is a good size and you have clear views of the instructor. It's very clean, and there are bins for your personal belongings. My favorite classes so far have been Zumba in the Circuit with Ritzy. It's one minute of Zumba and one minute of machine for 50 minutes. Good stuff. Ritzy is super energetic and motivating, take one of her classes! Turbo Kick with Bao it really good too. I've learned I need to practice kicking higher. I'd never win in a kick off. Dani also works you hard in Zumba, but you feel great about your workout afterwards. All in all you won't be disappointed with any of the instructors here! P.S. For my male friends, there are men there too. Don't be shy!

Rather than being part of a chain, it's a family business, with owner Ritzy teaching many of the classes. If you have a question or a suggestion, she is always available to talk. The instructors always invite you to talk with them after class. The instructors really set the tone for relations among the customers. Their kindness and equal treatment of all means that there's no snobby competition among the students. I've seen everyone from slim, toned model types to plenty of chunky gals like me to people who are badly out of shape and only able to participate for a few minutes at a time. There is a lot of ethnic diversity, too. The studio is clean and comfortable, the cost is reasonable, and there is ample parking. The only downside is that there is not a dressing room, although there is a bathroom where you can change if you need to.
