I did like that the seats were all at an angle where there was no one blocking your line of sight. We sat up in the higher seats toward the back so it was definitely no one blocking our vision. I will say that I was expecting more at the pageant. I don't know if it was due to the people who put on the pageant or if the performing arts center helped them put on the show, but it was very basic. Maybe the background and general set up was basic, as not to detract focus from the lovely ladies parading around the stage with the hopes of winning. I will say that everything looks new and clean and it doesn't give off that old high school auditorium feel. The rest of the center is very nice. The bathrooms are reasonable and there is some cool sculptures hanging overhead in the lobby. I still prefer the size of the auditorium and stage at other venues like the Washington Center for Performing Arts or the Pantages Theater, but this one works for this campus.

My mother and I attended a show of…read more"Kiss of the Spider Woman" after being invited by a member of staff, this past Friday (9/18/26) and provided a monetary gift for said staff member at the Box Office. In fact, our delivered bundle of hand-picked flowers, a personalized card indicating the name of the recipient, and gifts bundled within, was handed directly to the Play Director who met us in the lobby and told us our gift would be delivered. We even stayed after the show in order to confirm delivery, but we were startled and offended to see the very gift we had brought paraded by members of the cast through the exiting audience. Not any point during our nearly three hours stay on-site were we spoken to again or informed of delivery. We have then called the box for six consecutive days and have not received any replies to our voicemails or inquiries. All of our attempts to contact this establishment have been ignored, and it is now clear that we were mistreated by staff during our time in attendance, as it appears our gifts were falsely taken and stolen. I am lifelong theatre actor, director, and film director, and I have never experienced this level of ineptitude or gross negligence from what espouses to be a "Safe Place" and a "Community Theatre." Never in my life have I seen a gift stolen by theatre staff and then paraded in front of the audience. Please be advised - this is being treated as a theft, currently, but without any confirmation or communication from anyone, this very well could be a kidnapping, as we have not seen or heard from the person who invited us to this show. Hopefully we do receive the required responses soon, or law enforcement may have to be notified.

Maybe in my 20s, but not anymore! We were pleasantly surprised to get seating in the balcony area up above. Seating was comfortable and we managed to get a great view, but I don't think any of the seats necessarily could have a bad one. Sound here was great, the staff was all super friendly, and we overall had a really great experience with this venue. We normally attend shows up in Seattle so this was a nice switch up from the more daunting downtown scene up there.
