For YEARS i've been insecure about my thin hair. When Jhona said she specialized in extensions, i was on board. Jhona transform my hair so beautifully. I am more confident and happy with my hair more than ever. People who haven't seen me, believed my hair just grew longer That's how amazing Jhona is. She takes the time to tell you step by step the whole process and offers suggestions for your new hair. She told me "once you have extensions, you won't go back". I told her "Well you have a client for life then". Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. You'll wish you found her sooner. I attached a before and after of how amazing my hair came out. read more

Johna is AMAZING! She has so far been the only stylist to ever give me the color that I want. I am going back for my second round of lightening. This chick delivers on what she says and has a great eye and sense of style. Plus she's the sweetest heart and very easy to talk to, it was like a mini vacay getting my locks lightened. I've trusted Jhona with my super lively curly hair since 2009. Anyone with similar hair knows that when you find the right stylist- you stick with her! Even when I moved away for a few years , I'd always make sure to fit in time for a hair appointment when back to visit. She always welcomes her clients with open arms and is genuinely super friendly and caring. Cuts, styles, coloring- I always know I'm in good hands. Highly recommended for ANYONE. read more

Jhona is an amazing hair artist and on top of that, an even more amazing human! This long awaited review of mine should have come up months ago! I came into her salon with a mental picture of what I wanted. Mind you, I hadn't had a cut in over a year! My hair reached the bottom of my back and it was heavy with no body or texture whatsoever. I also am emotionally attached to my hair so even getting the courage to go out and cut my hair is very difficult to do. When I went in to my appointment, I was nervous but also so excited. Jhona's private studio is so warming and it sets you in such a good mood. Her presence alone lets you know that doing hair is her passion. She listens to all of your concerns and seems to envision you before she begins her task. I asked for a long angular Bob and was so happy that Jhona was the artist that did it. She gives you tips on how to style as well as the best products to use. I will not go to any other artist now that I've met Jhona. read more

Jhona is without a doubt the only person that is going to be touching my hair for as long as she is working. Hands down the best hair cut and color I've ever had. She absolutely nailed the Merlot shade I was going for. And my bangs look SO PRECIOUS!!!! I couldn't be happier. read more

I am from Tennessee and since I have been in California I haven't had anyone do my hair as good as Jhona and have never had the service like I experienced. I have never cut my hair short and finally grew the nerve to do it and she did such an amazing job. I couldn't be happier with it!! This lady is such a sweet person, as long as I'm in California no matter where we go for my husband's job I will always come back to her for my hair! read more

I went in to get my hair cut on Saturday and let me just say Jhona is God sent! I'd been looking for someone that's experienced with cutting curly hair after I had a traumatizing hair cut a few years ago. I finally got the courage to make an appointment after reading her reviews on here and I did not regret it. From the moment I first text her to book an appt she made me feel at ease and comfortable she's so professional. When I went in, which by the way I LOVE her studio, I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she talked with me about what would be best for my hair and how to achieve the look I was going for. She fixed my horrible hair cut that was still haunting me from years ago and I love the results. I found my new hair stylist. She truly knows curly hair and everyone knows that's difficult to find. Absolutely love her! read more

Ok, so Jhona is amazing. I have had so many bad experiences with my natural curly hair, I just gave up for a year. Found her on YELP, and couldn't be happier. LOVE her shop, peaceful and quirky. She talked me thru the cut and made sure at least 3 times she understood what I wanted. And I'll be damned, it looks exactly how I imagined it would. AMAZING! read more

I got a butchered hair cut at Aveda Salon in Fig Garden. Being apprehensive about where to got to get my hair fixed, I read reviews from many, many salons, here in Fresno and I kept going back to Studio M. Jhona had excellent reviews and I could see from them, she has helped many people who got bad cuts! Thankfully I listened to myself and called Jhona, left a message about my horrific situation. She called me that night; said she would work me in between other appointments the next day! Jhona had her work cut out for herself (no pun intended) but her natural talent for cutting and styling hair prevailed. I left her shop ready to face the world again. Can't thank her enough for rescuing me!! I am a customer for life! read more

Definitely sure, Jhona is amazing! She gave the coolest vibe, which matched really well with the environment. It was my first time and I am so satisfied with my look!
