I came here back in July 16 to have my hair colored blonde. I really like the blonde but with my grays it wasn't what I asked. It didn't go up to the route so I contacted them because of the obnoxious cost of almost $500. If they can fix it they had a bit of an attitude in regards to fixing it. I come in and I asked her if she could bleach to my roots she ends up putting a darker color that turns my whole hair, a more red and copper texture and then tells me that I don't see no red when I did so I was like OK well, maybe I I'm wrong the next day. I noticed that my hair is turning the color that you see in the photo and then it just enhances so I go in again she bleachers doesn't leave it in long then my hair starts breaking and this is what I end up with she literally said that the color remover that she put on shifted my roots or something like that and that this is as good as it's gonna get and thatshe'll fix it. The next time I come in in October when I pay again, I get a call yesterday stating that she's cutting down on her color customer service and that she doesn't want me as a customer so she screwed up my hair didn't even fix it and this is what I have to sit with after almost $500. This is the owner Natalie very unprofessional so are the ladies there the very first time I was there she had a customer in there complaining and all she did was say nothing but bad things about her because she messed up the customers hair. I should've red flag that then I don't know what to do. My hair is screwed up and damaged $500 almost down the drain. I would never recommend this place. read more

The salon is super cute, the stylist are all very welcoming but my GORGEOUS stylist Heather (with the blonde hair) ‍SLAYYYED MY HAIR! I went in with about three different colors in my hair and I was in need of a good trim/cut. I got an all over color with a light brown money piece and OMG I'm in LOVE. She is super nice & She was very patient when listening to my needs and wants of my hair and successfully accomplished the look I was going for. My hair feels and looks so healthy. I called for a walk in for a root touch up, all over toner, and a haircut. They were so accommodating and squeezed me in with Alfonso in the late afternoon. The facility has such beautiful decor and used Redkin products. Alfonso was super friendly and did a great job with my hair! The other stylist at the salon were also very friendly and kind. I was told that the stylist were independent and rent a station at the location. I'm sure whichever stylist you book with will do an amazing job. Though the salon was a little on the pricey side, you get great service, quality products, and a very beautiful clean and welcoming facility. read more

I have not been to a salon since Covid, and I'm so glad this was my first experience back. My appointment was with Talar, and she is amazing!!!! She listened to me and did the cut and color perfect! I absolutely adore it!!!! She ended up taking so much time with me, I was so appreciative of everything she did! She even straightened it for me after, it looked, and still looks, so great!!!! I am new to the Fresno area, i had been looking for a new and trendy hair salon to hopefully become my new go to salon. But unfortunately, I received nothing close to what i asked my stylist to do. I asked her for a long bob. She cut it all one size all around. I told her i dont see the angle of the bob and she said she left it subtle. so i told her i wanted it to be noticeable because thats what a bob is! she said she would have to go shorter in the back for it to show in the front. So she went shorter than i intially wanted but in the end i just got a shorter haircut all around and no bob! For the what i got i think $80 that i paid for is high! Very unhappy that now i need to let it grow out . I will not be returning back. read more

I got my haircut by Mariah and I feel so lucky to have met her! I had decided last minute to get a hair cut on a Monday and made an appointment online for Wednesday, there were several open appointments which was nice especially last minute. The online scheduling and price breakdown was also great. I have very long hair and always have a hard time with stylists cutting too much off or not layering in a way that's flattering. I didn't even have to tell Mariah what I wanted, she immediately knew what would work for my hair based on its length and texture. And I've been trimming my own hair and face layers (not very well lol) and she made it look so much better. Her blowout was amazing and my hair looked so good, I literally felt like I had model hair. And now several home washes later my hair is more manageable and less frizzy (I have wavy hair that can get a little crazy) just thanks to her cutting style! Typically I leave a haircut and it looks good but then as soon as I wash it it looks just pre hair cut but not this time. She is also so incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. 100% would recommend her to anyone and I will be back to see her! read more

I'm glad I met Garline. She was so patience and accommodating to my wild requests. Vivid hair isn't new to me, but my hair and scalp changed dramatically after pregnancy. Garline took her time to search for products that work with my hair. She's also great with communication. Furthermore, Garline is enthusiastic and passionate about her works even though it was time and labor intensive. Vivid hair is high maintenance. The process to bring my Asian black hair to these complex masterpieces without my hair looks like a haystack isn't cheap and it's time consuming. I'm just happy that I can find a colorist like Garline in Fresno. Otherwise, I would have to make a road trip to SoCal or Bay Area for this kind of projects. read more

Do not recommend. They schedule you out for 3-4 weeks. They send you text messages every 2-3 days threatening you that if you don't confirm your appointment when they send those text messages then they will cancel your appointment. Then, 30 minutes before your appointment they cancel on you with no accommodation or anything. What a joke! read more

This is my favorite hair salon in Fresno!!! I have tried several different places and several colorists in both Fresno and LA and this place has by far the best balayage colorists. It says a lot that I drive all the way from LA just to get my hair done here. I started off going to Laci who does an absolutely amazing job. I have long brown hair and always like to go lighter with a natural balayage look. Laci is very popular and often times booked out, so she referred me to Alysa who I have gone to the last two times now. Alysa always does a beautiful balayage. Outside of balayage, she is also really good at doing color corrections, fun/cool colors, and brunettes. Alysa is also so friendly and sweet. They provide nice refreshments throughout your appointment. I absolutely love coming here and send all of my friends to Fringe! read more

I have lived in the Fresno area for 5 years. Before I moved here my previous hairstylists were two of my friends who Were licensed but did hair from home on the side among their other professions. I hadn't been to a salon in years. A few years ago it had been 2yrs since I had a haircut, I went to Ulta and had a good experience but didn't like the setting. Finally I have found my place and a stylist! Noah at Fringe is one-of-a-kind. I don't know how to explain it but he puts his love into every service he gives. It's fun to have a glass of wine and chat while he works on my hair. My hair is my most favorite thing about myself and after 5 years I finally feel like it is healthy and beautiful because of him. I moved from suburban Chicago 3 years ago & this is my 5th or 6th salon. The last salon in Woodward Park , the stylist was ridiculously $$$$ She told me a friend would fly in from Chicago because she was so much cheaper - TOTALLY untrue as I was born & raised in Chi & live in Chicago & suburban Chicago all but several years of my life. The desk didn't determine price, the stylist (Orchid) did & needed to be paid in cash or Venmo. For my first cut & color & tip was about $400 Dont know why I went back. Texted that I needed a toner she told me to use purple shampoo & I said it was harsh - no reply back . She's a great stylist, but I cannot possibly emphasize enough her skill as a colorist. I feel like I will be seeing her for a long time, which is something I've really had trouble finding at a salon. I won't get into all the reason why my last experience was so bad but the first visit was not bad, so the average score I came up with is 2 stars.
