I've been a regular client at Dominion Nails and have always been happy with the quality of my…read morenails, which is why this experience was so disappointing and unexpected.
I had an appointment booked, but due to a last-minute change with another commitment, I politely asked if it would be possible to move my appointment slightly later. Instead of trying to accommodate or communicate professionally, the response I received was confusing, dismissive, and ultimately resulted in my appointment being canceled altogether.
What I found especially frustrating was the attitude in the messages--there was no effort to help find a solution, no flexibility, and even a refusal to suggest an alternative or another salon. As a loyal client who has visited multiple times and has always been understanding (even when I had to wait in the past), this felt very one-sided and quite rude.
It's a shame because the work itself is good, but customer service and communication are just as important. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling undervalued as a client.
I hope the salon improves how they handle situations like this in the future.
