She also applied lotion, tinted moisturizer and powder to my face for no extra charge. I will definitely come back to this salon next time I am visiting Czech Republic.

Mosty for tourists. And girls. Perfect for buying gifts to take home :). I love the smell there. It's a combination of different products but still quite pleasant. Cosmetics are displayed in scent series: wine, beer, apricot, plum, berries and a few others. You can buy shower gels, bubble baths, balms, body butters, chapsticks etc. I am especially enamoured with a wine scented line. I have a wine hand balm and it's really great for my dry hands. The same goes for chapstick. Quite yummy too ;). And the smell...mmm. So frutty! I also tried a plum bubble bath a few times and I have to say that warm bath with scented bubbles is something to look forward. Prices aren't bad, the choice is great and there are a few things other than cosmetics to take home as a souvenire. So I deffinitely recommend to visit this place if you are in Prague!

This place is located in the old town and near all the expensive shops like Louboutin and Fendi. So read in between lines: the prices are higher then average. For women's haircut by the hairstylist of a 3rd level (they have range from 1 to 4 levels with 4 being the most expensive and experienced one) it was $50 (not cheap for Czech Republic). The hairdresser Barbara was very friendly and listened carefully about my needs. She even found an iPhone charger for me since my phone battery was low and set it up to charge next to where I was siting. Then she washed my hair and started cutting it. She continued asking me clarifying questions while she was performing the haircut to make sure that it meet my expectations. After she was done she spend good amount of time drying my hair, so they started looking amazing! I had great experience here and would definitely return if I'm going to be in Prague again. The location is just off of Paris Street where the high-end shops are located (Prada, Jimmy Choo, etc.)and I was relieved to see locals in there getting various beauty treatments, It is comfy. As soon as I walked in I offered a beverage and relaxed for a few minutes to soft modern music. The hair wash alone was worth 1200 Koruna (about 48US). I wish I could have that experience every wash. I was in the chair for about 15 minutes. The bowl is such that my head could totally relax and the chair was very fab with massaging elements. the scalp massage actually had me dozing before she was done. My designer was lovely in and out. Her English was very good, but much Russian was spoken among the staff. She listened to my request and did a very good job. It is not my best cut ever, but I am pleased with it. BTW the sign out front is in English and reads "Fancy Hair Salon". If I am fortunate enough to return to Prague I will make a point to come needing a trim.My 90 minutes inside refreshed me for more Praha discovery.

Walking through the Atrium for a quick lunch and the candles at the front of the store caught my eye/nose. Rituals is a kind of sophisticated cosmetics/skin care/home accessories store - carrying products for both men and women. Their products include body and skin care, scented candles, perfume, and tea, and from the scents in the store, seems to have an Eastern world theme (think hammam steam baths). I did not try any of the cosmetics this time, so my review is based on the service and the product I did buy - the Goji Berry Scented candle. I was greeted promptly when I walked into the store, and the clerk assisted me with sampling the candle scents. The fragrances are all exotic Eastern aromas I would expect to see in a spice souk in the Middle East - Black Oudh, Dao, Green Cardamom, Ayurveda etc. The candles come in different sizes. I chose the smaller size (795 CZK - roughly $39 to $40 USD). It was a little costly for a candle, but that aroma was wonderful. Also the packaging was an elegant, quality box with a gold metal seal on it. The actual candle is also in a high quality glass holder with a gold metal seal. Very nice and fancy - great for gift-ing! Fast forward to I now have the candle at home. Lit it for about 30 minutes and it scented my whole flat wonderfully - not too overpowering - just a nice, rich, exotic aroma. At this rate I can see the candle lasting for quite a while, and to me well worth the price. I am interested to try some of their body care products in the future. To note: Not only are their products not tested on animals, but the products do not contain any animal ingredients (per their website).

The first therapist I had was not my favorite, she couldn't give me the pressure I was looking for, eventually I asked to have someone else who can give me my preferred amount of pressure.
