My husband and I have stayed here several times. The $300/week price is unbeatable. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The "+s" are: clean room, refrigerator/freezer (in room), wifi, cable (a little bit too limited), bathtub/shower (not just a shower), common kitchen (saves $ $ on non-take out meals), on-site 24 hour laundry room, gated parking lot, 24 hour security and my favorite ... A P O O L (even though it is currently closed for the winter). We will be back. The only negative thing is, after each 28 day stay ...the leaving for 5 days before returning is a pain. Especially now that LA is on COV-19 lockdown. read more

So here's an honest review, pros: it was a very cheap hotel and for someone like me who had to get smtg very last minute with not a lot in the bank, it was perfect, I was staying there to go to a convention down the street and it was only 10 min which was great, website says no private parking (from what I remember) but there is an area to park in the back, it's gated and you have to press a button to get in or out which me and my friend were very happy about, the fridge was pretty nice, not a mini fridge, it had two different doors for reg fridge and a freezer, lots of drawers and cabinet space, tv worked well, bed was comfortable and pillows were comfortable and the locks on the doors were electric so you need a card to get in. Cons: there were stains all over our sheets, nothing crazy but more like stuff you can't really get out (coffee, wine, etc) but one of these sheets had someone's name written on it with a pen?? To us, it looked like they just didn't change that sheet, pillows had stuff on it too, we ended up going to get pillow cases to cover them, I personally didn't see bed bugs but we did have an encounter with two roaches, one dead and one alive, they are the size of horse fly, one of the drawers had nerds clusters in it and it looked like some of the nerds were on the floor too, there was a medical cabinet that had an old bag in there with god knows what, someone got a arrested the first night we stayed there, lots of yelling and threats (also would like to add this was not in their control and the front desk did call the cops), when I was checking in, the man asked if I wanted to see the room I said yes and when leaving he asked if I was staying alone and as a younger fem presenting person, this made me very uncomfortable for a older man to ask me this, I thought it was inappropriate and made me feel unsafe before I even got the key to the room, very thin walls, we were right next to the kitchen and could hear everything, I didn't want to take a pic for their privacy but also in the kitchen there were these couches and there looked to be a homeless person sleeping on one, there is absolutely no security on the grounds aside from the cameras and the gate and for this hotel being in a "rough" neighborhood, I feel like it's needed to insure the safety of their guests and also I don't know if this is just a hotel or not, it almost seemed like it was part hotel and part apartment complex, not really a bad thing but just thought it was strange Over all, would I stay here again, most likely not. The cons outweigh the pros too much I don't think I will ever come back unless needed too, there were other hotels with similar rates nearby that I'd rather not come back to this one. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I drove an hour and a half based on the reviews, only to realize those positive ratings likely stem from the few renovated rooms, which make up only a small portion of the property across its three floors. I was given the key to room 216 to view it before checking in, and it was clear that the renovations stopped there. The hallways are shockingly outdated--removal of the smelly carpet and a fresh coat of paint wouldn't break the bank, especially for a cash-only business that seems to exploit the underprivileged. What's worse, they appear to profile guests, reserving the better rooms for select individuals rather than operating on a first-come, first-served basis. I felt absolutely disgusted and extremely uncomfortable staying here. The so-called "weekly discount" wasn't worth it in the slightest; I'd happily pay a few hundred dollars more elsewhere for a better experience. The entire building exudes a depressing, low-energy vibe. The receptionist's demeanor perfectly matched the state of the establishment--it felt like stepping into a horror movie or an alternate, lower dimension. This place is horrible! their staff are creepy and they went into my room more than once while I was staying there. I left a bad review once and got on their DNR list, Because I called them out on their bullshit. The place is infested with bed bugs, roaches and creeps. Don't go here if you value your life. Seriously I would leave 0 stars if I could. They are definitely doing shady shit there. Also they have no AC and make you pay more to get into a room with AC, but then it still won't work. So they rip you off and try to say it's your fault for it not working. One of the best hotels I've had a privilege to stay at. It's one of the few hotels left that let you stay for 28 days and the price is not only affordable but the staff make you stay even better. Everyone is friendly and the rooms are super clean. Each room includes a fridge, tv with multiple Channels as well as netflix, Hulu, HBO...etc., FREE WI-FI! There's a pool in the building usually open to the public during summer time. There's a gated parking lot which is great so you're not worrying about leaving anything in the car. There's a designated smoking area and vending machines to help yourself when you don't feel like crossing the street. It is cash or money order only but I wouldn't dare to complain because like I mentioned earlier, the price is unbeatable. Best hotel ever at a good value. They have a kitchen there to cook your meals and they got a pool. Oh I forgot the best part is they have a laundromat there, not free though! You have to pay like any other laundromat. Just sucks I got banned from Studio Lodge a couple years ago because when I was staying here with my ex bf, his behavior there was no bueno and I completely understand. I know the Studio Lodge well and only have good things to say about this business. On and off for five years I stayed as a guest at the Studio Lodge and found the rooms to be clean, the staff professional and the rates uncommonly reasonable. They regularly run a special where the first week's rent is under $250. Lori runs the front desk and does an excellent job. Her staff includes Kelly and Destiny. Kelly is a model of excellence and efficiency that any business would be proud to employ. Destiny is just as good at her job but from a light and bubbly Gen Z perspective. Housekeeping works hard and will guarantee that your stay begins in a clean, comfortable, well-lighted space (that's a subtle reference to a Hemingway short story that only Kelly will catch). Lastly, no review of the Studio Lodge Hotel would be complete without mentioning Bernie. Bernie is the head of maintenance and can fix anything but with a wry smile and self-deprecating quib. If you're looking for a place to visit while in Los Angeles or just need a break from life, the Studio Lodge Hotel is the safe space you'll recommend to all of your friends. read more

This is one of the only 28 day stay hotels left. People have to be out for 5 days if they stay 28 days so there's a good chance you can get a room. The rooms are spotless. They have a full bathroom. They also have a community kitchen with a few microwaves full stove and 3 vending machines. the swimming pool is refreshing in the summer. It's kept very clean. Toilet paper, bath towels and soap are free. there are washer & dryers and a gated parking lot which makes a big difference. They're competitively priced and for the money it's the best short stay out there. I've been to many other places and most have no kitchen, parking or laundry. Id give this a good rating since I've stayed here in the past for 28 days in July and I enjoyed the rates with ac 400$ and the winter was a special 268 with ac great deal for the first week I can't go wrong with the price I didn't like how you can't come back in 5 days but now your able to go back if there's availability in the motel which is better.I love their communal kitchen it's really convenient I've used to to prepare meals at any time from 5am to 11pm and the pool isn't available I hope it is for future stays it hasn't reopened the laundry's are great I've used their dryers work amazing so does the washing machines 2 dollars each good affordable price local stores nearby and restaurants.Coin dispensing machines vending machines to buy any drinks snacks and other items and there's also a donation table that is free for everyone to give and get it's a awesome place. The parking is completely complicated if you come late you will possibly not find anymore parking inside and in the streets is hard to find we're to park at your own risk.For sheets you need to go early twice I was denied sheets going after 6 pm go early for all this to be over with and then you can get some clean sheets and toilet paper bags and towels with floor mats.The good thing is the Amazon tv although the volume was a issue every time randomly the noice would stop working and work whenever it wanted to it was just so bad.Another thing I didn't like was there isn't more than two people aloud per room there should be more people that are aloud per room with two beds I also stayed in 229 and there was a hole on the wall and manager was able to rent the room without caring it it was damaged .The lights are so dim they need better lighting and better shower pressure .the trash is easy access to go dispose and there's a dispensary cannaseurs across the street it's the best.I just hate signing so much paperwork before checking in and having to wait for the gate door to open its annoying they take forever .Then they complain about dodging the gate when they take long to get it open .I've only seen two roaches in the restroom at room 150 please get a terminator otherwise I enjoyed my stay I just don't like the carpet it gets dirty quick since I have a baby and the time I stayed it rained to the carpet gets humid and then smells really bad the smell penetrates .People who previously stayed they didn't clean the room well there was clothes and they ask if it was mine when I check out and it wasn't the table was so droped and it annoyed me why can't they put a regular table with two chairs and i had to eat standing because there was only one chair for one person but two adults the table is all broken and tried to put together but should be removed completely read more

I was a little hesitant to stay here after initially reading some of the bad reviews. However, I took a chance, and was glad I did. It is a great value. There were no cockroaches like some of the reviews said, I saw one big spider the entire week I stayed there, but that could happen anywhere. It's not the Marriott, but you get a big room, a smart TV with plenty to watch, a big refrigerator, and the AC kept the room chilly when it was scorching hot outside during summer. There was hot water available when showering despite reviews about there being no hot water when showering. The only downside is difficult parking. They have a private parking lot, however it fills up later in the evening each day. I managed to always have a parking spot, but I made sure to come back by 5 pm each day. I've been to other hotels that are much more expensive and had this same issue with parking. It's LA, parking is difficult. Anyways, it's a great deal, I'm not sure why people left bad reviews, maybe they are competitors from other hotels that can't compete with the low prices. If you want to save some cash and don't expect the Ritz, it's probably the best deal anywhere around. They had my deposit ready when I left, staff were all very friendly, I have no complaints and will definitely stay here again when I come back to LA. read more

This is the perfect option if your on a budget. For the last year or so I've been a regular customer. The rooms are perfect for getting a roof over your head. The rooms I've been in have had Smart tvs and a full size fridge with a freezer. I'm able to store a weeks worth of food easily. There is a common area kitchen for cooking your meals or microwaves if you just need to heat something up. They also have first come first serve parking and a 24hr laundry room. Staff is super helpful from the housekeepers, maintenance guys, and front desk which is open 24 hours a day. I would say if your looking for a place for a great price this is the place for you. read more

This place is absolutely a hidden gem. Don't be deterred by it's surroundings or the "area". I have felt most safe here, it is by far the cleanest and most sanitary among all the extended stays within 10 miles guaranteed, has the friendliest & most accommodating staff, the "rent" you absolutely will not beat elsewhere and they often have 1st week specials, and it is also the quietest place among the many hotels I've stayed in in the Burbank & North Hollywood cities. This is where I keep returning to and when I'm away I look forward to coming back and that deep sigh of relief- the comfort that you only get once you've gotten "home". Great place and mostly good staff there is a lady at night however who is horrible, I don't come to the place very much because I work and my daughter goes to her grandmas on certain days so I'm not here. But when I want to relax in my room some days I'm in the room. The lady was yelling through the intercom telling me there was no parking. When there clearly was a parking spot. I've stayed here for two weeks and haven't had any issues, I ask the ones in the front can I come through the gate because half the time my daughter is sleep and there isn't any elevator to go upstairs and I'm pregnant. They say yes and kindly let me in and I go back out and park on the street. There are lovely people here just renting and a great manager,but a lady on Sunday night needs to be fired she is a disgusting human being I am pregnant and she is yelling and cussing at 1am. I'm pretty sure she gets complaints often and needs to be retrained. You can't yell at people who pay to rent here !!! read more

This hotel was the absolute worst hotel experience ever. The management was rude and racist as hell. I didn't like any of them. The parking was horrible. The lot fills up with cars quick and you have to pray you find parking on the street. The shower ran brown, rusty water every time I turned it on and the lower tub faucet was running at the same time the shower head was running. The room was extremely hot and I was sweating buckets of water. The absolute worst part was the wifi. They have low speed 2g internet and you have a WEAK wifi signal or NO signal and you're constantly knocked offline throughout the day. There are too many bad things about this hotel that I don't have time to rant about. DO NOT STAY HERE even if you're strapped for cash. There are better hotels out there. Worst experience ever. I couldn't wait to run out of there. It was like living in hell for a week. read more

I would like to reply to Kevin's response to my review. With all due respect. I did not place any negative comments with your hotel. The pictures speak for itself. As for your comment about my husband and I using the kitchen after 11pm. We were in the kitchen before it was due to shut down for the evening. My husband worked late and I had a bad congested cold at that time. We made dinner and unfortunately, we did not finish until 11:10 pm. And that was after cleaning up after ourselves and the the 2 other people that were there before us. We NEVER mentioned that we knew the Owner in response to your employee reminding us that the kitchen closed at 11pm. That comment would never be a reply or a reason for us to discount us in using the kitchen after hours. It's simply not our style. But then again, you mentioning this on Yelp has no gain to putting us down for our posting. I declined your pest services in response to our concern about the issues of the room for reasonable causes. 1). We had already purchased a few cans to spray accordingly. 2). I have my service animal with me and do not want to be exposed to chemicals that may be trigger an allergic reaction. 3). Being a professional in the similar industry of over 23 years, I would highly recommend that the carpets are shampooed regularly and in between guests. The accumulated dust built up on the ceilings should be cleaned when the room is not occupied. It serves no justice to clean them when a guest is staying there and to hire an outside contractor to fumigate before prepping the room would not be as effective as to when the room is prepped and not occupied. I'm glad to know that you're planning upgrades to your property. I hope all goes well. Perhaps when replying to comments, stick with the subject matter and not to get personal about it. read more

And by they I mean the manager, the staff has always be kind and times has gone above and beyond . Why this person would make up events that never happened is beyond my comprehension. I have never had anyone sneak in . My guest has simply walked through the front door at to my room usually between the hours of 2am and 4am so please let's get this information correct . I was never told this was s problem or I would have made other arrangements . I hate the cockroaches and the dirtiness of the this shitty place. They refused to give me my key refund because I misplaced the receipts. I do not recommend this Fucking hole in North Hollywood. Furthermore we paid for 2 people and we did not get the second bed until the 3rd day after paying for a whole week. One of us had to sleep on the floor. When we finally got the bed they gave us a broken frame for it. And NO. The hotel NEVER returned the deposits because we lost the copy of their receipts. We could not get a key room until we pay the deposits that they kept after having the original receipts in their posetion. Yes a friend did come to visit several times but never stayed overnight. As readers can see the management lied to their teeth. I would think twice if you even considered staying in this hotel. read more

My son and I stayed here last year for 28 days and our stay was fairly pleasant, the only thing that I disliked about this hotel was the shared kitchen, which was okay (they let us use our electric indoor grill and other appliances, but you could only use them in the kitchen area. The staff was friendly and treated us pretty well. The free WiFi was nice and I also liked the fact that they had cable. My overall experience was fairly decent. read more
