I showed up and the salon was not open and when…read morethe employee arrived I had to wait for at least 10 minutes so she could clean up the room which was dirty and the floor was messy. When I went in it was not a nice atmosphere no music or nice smell. I have sparse eyebrows so I told her just to follow the line and not pluck or wax off to make then thinner. She did a horrible job and put dye where I have no hair and did not even trim the brows. Now I have dark brown almost black hair dye on my eye brows and down the sides. My hair is blonde ??? This was not a good experience and I will not be back.

Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. I was shocked and to be honest, I was so over the consultation that I awkwardly laughed and promised him I'd be back. He could honestly care less. I wasn't too irritated because it smelled like hard boiled eggs or broccoli in there. Not to mention, The older woman at the front desk was hella grumpy as well. I figured, if I'm going to spend $3-400 somewhere... I'd rather not spend it there thank you Looking at there reviews.. maybe they just don't serve latinas. Idk. ‍

I normally would have made an appointment but this had been one of our busiest activities filled summer vacations yet. So I get on Yelp for the closest hair place. At this point I'm just looking for anything opened on a Sunday morning. My hair stylist is so awesome, however, they book out at least 3 weeks in advance. Plus I think they are closed on Sundays. That's funny. With my thousand of hair appointments I've had over the past 20 years I've never had to think about a Sunday hair appointment. Probably because they are always closed. Back to my dilemma. So I find this location and looks like they have mixed reviews. I know the turn around sometimes has a lot to do with the ratings at franchise like this ones. I get there early and there are people already waiting in their cars plus a couple waiting in line at the door for them to open. So we join the line and 5 minutes before 10am the nice store owner let everyone in. I thought it was great, since it's still summer out and it helps them to start getting clients on the list. We are second in line. We give our name and have a seat while the rest of the line gets checked in. I found out you can also check in from home so that you don't have to wait in line but the location wasn't open yet. A few minutes later we get called back and Melissa takes care of my son. She asked plenty of questions as well as her suggestions. She had great conversation with him to keep him from moving around too much. Since he is only 10 and always has a thousand things to say it really went well. Overall, if I can schedule with Melissa again, I will certainly book my sons appointment with her. I will also recommend her to my husband. Great experience!!

So in summary, no dark roots at all and waaay lighter than I had asked, I even showed her a picture to reference to. Jessica, for way less, managed to fix my hair and make it feel great considering all the services I had recently done to it. I'm absolutely in LOVE with the color and just my overall experience. She was a sweet girl who provided an enjoyable and relaxing environment. I had surgery and the incision went into the base of my hair line at the back of my neck. The surgeon cut out a chunk in the middle of the back of my head and Jeni blended everything and made it look really intentional. When I contacted the company they were quick to refund me the money but found out she had me pay through an outside source so their hands were tied and couldn't do anything. My wedding was March 2nd and I'm still upset by all of this. Yes, we changed the date on short notice due to my cancer but she never stated it was an issue or any stipulations. I wish it worked out because she did a great job and was super sweet but completely mishandled my service. I could have just had bad luck and it's not common so be careful. Be sure you pay her through the company you find her and tip after the services.
