Our family has been on the lookout for a place to groom our elderly and aging miniature poodle. While most any groomer while try to trim our dog, it takes a real special groomer to understand the needs of aging pets. As dogs age, they can get a little grumpy and agitated by people poking and handling them. We gave Studio K9 a try today and were VERY, VERY pleased with EVERYTHING. From arrival, the studio did not smell like a typical groomer, the space was clean and tidy, our groomer Mary was very attentive to our concerns and very quickly made friends with our miniature poodle. Since we were the only appointment for the hour we dropped our dog off, we were told it would take about 2 hours, and it did to the minute! When I went inside to pick up our precious aging dog I was thrilled to find our dog's haircut was adorable, our dog had been kept in a cage with a comfy dog bed, and our dog was given a collar cover (instead of a typical bandana or scarf)! And in addition to having a great atmosphere, with high quality services, the price was very reasonable. Our miniature poodle's cut was $38. We'll definitely be going back to Studio K9 again and bringing along our other small dog, too! read more
