My husband and I were very happy that she was able to come our house for these special photos. Suzanne spent as much time as would allow given the time of day and sunlight to capture beautiful moments with my son. The session was surprisingly natural, given that we had only just met! Her services did not end there; after the photo shoot, Suzanne guided us in the selection and layout of pictures and matting for our art wall. She made the entire process very easy and stress free for us! More than a talented artist, Suzanne is personal, thoughtful, and easy to talk to and connect with, which is what makes her a great photographer. As a new parent, I was going through so much at the time. The one thing that I knew I needed to do (apart from taking care of my baby) was to have memories made of of us together that would last a lifetime. We did not want to spend hours posing for photos or feel like we were missing our own wedding. Sara did so much more than just take amazing photos. She helped me plan the timing of the whole day, with expert guidance and perspective on lighting and flow. She dedicated a lot of time and energy to help plan and prep with me so she really understood what we wanted for our big day. She was responsive and professional and also personable, sweet, and funny. When the day arrived, Sara and her second photographer Cecilia helped everything run so smoothly. She even knew how to calm me down when I was freaking out. Sara wrangled our big rowdy family and had lots of tricks for getting natural facial expressions and poses out of everyone including the children and the awkward adults. She kept us laughing while also moving us through the many groups we had lined up. I just looked through all the photos from the ceremony and I can't believe how many angles Sara and Cecilia captured-- they were everywhere... but how??? He was fantastic and communicative from start to finish…read more Wedding planning can be pretty overwhelming and having Dan help us organize the flow of the day was so great. After having a great call with him to go over our vision and how he works with us to make it happen, he gave us a worksheet to fill out. The worksheet was very important in the planning process and helped us choose songs and music for all the particular moments of the day (many things we hadn't even thought about before looking over this worksheet). Dan came for a site visit so he knew what type of equipment he'd need and to understand the flow of the day. He set up and handled all of the speakers, microphones and equipment. And most importantly he had the guests on the dance floor the whole night. It was the best! We highly recommend DJ Dan for your wedding or party needs!

She is professional, talented and always makes the time spent very fun! The first shoot we did with her was for my two young daughters in her wooded "fairy" theme. Angelika brought a selection of various beautifully adorned dresses for the girls to try on and choose from. They were so excited to get to "dress up". Although it was an extremely hot day, she did an incredible job finding the perfectly shaded spots and as the girls energy or attention drained, she even had a little bag of fruit snacks to perk them up and keep them interested! The second photo session I had with her was for maternity photos. We were again up against extreme weather, rain threatening and cold/wind in very little clothing, but she worked so efficiently and had already scouted out spots on location, so no time was wasted. She again came prepared with a blanket for us to use to sit on, as well as extra props. She even included my other children and fiancé in my baby bump session. Of all the portfolios we looked at (and we looked at MANY), Anne-Claire's was the only one that fit the style and attention to detail we were looking for, and working with her did not disappoint. All of our photos came out STUNNING, and she made absolute magic out of our couple portraits, which had to be taken entirely indoors due to the pouring rain the night of our wedding. We interviewed a half dozen wedding photographers, and after a whirlwind experience I can confidently say that J & D are the most communicative and easy to work with. They have a can-do attitude and bring a low key sense of humor and enthusiasm to their projects. Everybody got along easily with them. Their equipment they use gave them a lot of options for getting great shots, they knew when to take advantage of good lighting, and they were SO kind about the few time they asked us to pose in the moment--a quick, "hey look over here!". Those quick and easy moments all paid off ... now that we have the shots we can see why they went for it. They included engagement photos in their package, and that shoot was a super fun adventure, everybody was in a good mood, so of course we got great photos that we'll have forever. Where to begin with praise for Jaime and Dennis? They photographed our wedding this past June in…read moreBig Sur and we could not have found photographers with more warmth, heart, patience, flexibility, and, above all things, the most beautiful results. Like many other reviewers, when looking for a photographer, we wanted an approach that was more journalistic, but still had an editorial bent. In other words, we didn't want a ton of posed photos, but instead wanted moments captured in a beautiful, subtle, and elegant way. I came across a photo that Jaime took of a row of grandparents laughing, and knew almost right then and there that I would want to work with them. I loved the process of talking and even negotiating with Jaime and Dennis. From the get go, they were interested in who we are, our lives, and what we wanted out of our photographs. I got the sense that they don't take cookie-cutter approaches to wedding photography, and love that philosophy. They both worked with us to come up with a package that fit our budget and made sense for everyone, always being extremely responsive and professional. On our wedding weekend, Dennis and Jaime were phenomenal. They blended in seamlessly with our guests and vendors, would get into any position for great photos (at some point I was scared Dennis was going to fall off a cliff), and cared enough in the flow of the day to not take us away from the party for too long, yet long enough so that we got beautiful shots. Beyond that, Jaime actually was extraordinary in helping with little things, like when the train of my dress got dirty from walking on the street - she had all sorts of ideas on how we could get the marks out, and went out of her way to do so. When we got the images a mere 2 weeks later (!!), I was blown away. The images were so special and captured spontaneous moments not just of us but also of our guests. There are so many photos I want to frame and two months later, I still go through them every week or so because of how beautiful they are.
