We used Dennis for our wedding and he was amazing! Having the engagement photos included in the package was so helpful as a test run! The locations he suggested were gorgeous as well! The day of the wedding Dennis and his whole team worked so hard from the morning until late at night! I really appreciated all the real time instruction while shooting. We looove our photos! 10/10 would recommend! read more

My wife and I were very pleased with Dennis and his team! We loved working with Dennis because he made the entire process very easy and fun for us. He shot different styles using digital and film for both our engagement and wedding photos and they all turned out beautiful. One thing that stood out to us was that Dennis knew exactly how to handle large groups of people. On our wedding day, he directed people on where to stand/pose was and called out any adjustments that needed to be made. All this was done assertively but very nicely, which a lot of friends and family also took note of! We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. We're sure he will give you as much joy as he brought us on our special day. read more

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Dennis for both our engagement and wedding photos, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment we met, he took the time to understand our style and what we envisioned for our big day. His attention to detail is unmatched, he doesn't just snap photos, he ensures everything is perfect before he clicks the shutter. Whether it's adjusting a piece of clothing or finding the perfect lighting, he's always focused on getting the best shot!!! Not only is he incredibly skilled, but he's also an absolute joy to work with. He's kind, easy to talk to, and by the end of our time together, he felt more like a friend than just our photographer. Our wedding photos turned out beautifully, capturing every special moment in a way that feels timeless. We've received countless compliments from friends and family who've said these are some of the best photos they've ever seen. We recommend Dennis 1000 times over and will never use another photographer!!!!. 3 words. Dennis is Amazing. Me and my SO aren't photogenic people and are very awkward in front of camera. So When we got our engagement photos back, we were like "who the heck are these two people?!" I was smiling the entire time I was looking through my engagement photos, even my fiancé was impressed as he was skeptical how the photos will turn out cause of the poses Dennis had us posing, hahaha. We loved our engagement photos so much I have been printing them out with Walgreens free 8x10 and our houses is filled with our faces, some might even think we are into ourselves, but really, Dennis' skill is too good to not showcase it. read more

Dennis is AMAZING! His photography speaks for itself but he made the entire experience so easy, calm, and manageable. We had issues finding a photographer and our wedding planners swore that Dennis would give us the exact vision we wanted and was truly a gift to work with. They were correct :) Once we booked Dennis, we went back and forth so many times to determine what type of engagement photos we wanted, places, vibes, outfits, everything! He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and posed us in really beautiful ways. The wedding- Dennis was a superstar. Prior to the day, we went back and forth of the editing style I wanted for these pictures by showing examples and Dennis was so responsive and really made sure going into the wedding he knew what I was expecting. On the day, he was telling everyone where to stand, how to stand and everything in between to be sure the shot was perfect. He got so many lovely shots of us that I tear up when I look back at the photos. Dennis is a pleasure to work with, he's sweet, fun, and really does care about it clients. read more

He was, without a doubt, one of my favorite photographers to work with. My family and friends were raving about how kind, caring, and compassionate he was. For our first look, he made sure to go out of his way to make this moment so special for us. I cannot recommend him enough! read more

Dennis is more than an artist, he's a kind, thoughtful and genuine human and friend. You can absolutely tell how much he puts his heart and soul into every moment with you. It radiates through every picture. We didn't know Dennis and his team before we began wedding planning, but are super grateful to our planners for introducing us to him. From our engagement pictures to our wedding pictures, Dennis not only captured our love so beautifully, but he anticipated our favorite shots, angles and even taught me how to see myself and love myself more. He took the time to get to know us and our preferred style, our vision and even made sure to go to all of our locations and wedding venue beforehand to ensure our shoots were everything we could imagine - but really more. I appreciated that about him more than anything - this kind of photographer is exactly who you want on your wedding day, or any memorable occasion. Of course, the incredible part about Dennis is he not only manages to take all your stunning pictures, but deliver them perfectly and so quickly! Every single picture we shared with friends and family were returned with "wow you look like you came from a magazine!" His heart makes him the best. His team is so wonderful. We appreciate you so much Dennis, thank you for capturing our special moments and day!! read more

Dennis is AMAZING!! He was my photographer for my engagement shoot and my wedding. He's done several of our friends' weddings so I knew he was really good already but working with him made me really appreciate his talent. My (now) husband and I are not great with posing for photos at all and we told Dennis this so he made sure to give us specific directions during the shoots. He has such an eye for photography and he can make a simple place look extravagant. I also liked how he made sure to incorporate any requests that we had. For the engagement shoot, we had a meeting to discuss logistics but he also helped me figure out what outfits would look best together so that our clothes didn't clash with each other or feel washed out by the background. I mentioned to him that I wanted to do some more "cool" fashiony pictures and he totally delivered on this during the shoot but with his own style. He even remembered some of the poses from the inspo pictures I sent him! For our wedding, Dennis was around the area during our rehearsal so he came by to watch our processional and talk to the coordinator so he knew how everything was going to flow. During the wedding, my bridal party loved working with Dennis because we all had so much fun with the shoot. He made us all feel comfortable and feel fabulous. He started editing our photos and I already have some previews of my wedding photos 2 weeks later! I'm so happy with all of our engagement photos and the wedding photos I have so far. I would recommend him to anyone I know! read more

We love Dennis and his amazing work! We fell in love with Dennis' photos and met him at his studio office. When I spoke to a few local bridal makeup artists, they all mentioned how awesome Dennis is and that he is a pleasure to work with. During our initial meeting with Dennis, it was obvious how passionate he is with his photography. We were discussing details about our wedding and he had a vision already! He's so creative. Dennis is very flexible with the packages and he worked with us on a customized package. There are three photo styles to choose from. The best style for you will depend on where your wedding will be and style. On our wedding day, Dennis and his team made sure to capture the moments beautifully. My bridal party kept complimenting on how amazing they are. We could not wait to see how the photos turned out. We LOVE how amazing our photos came out!! Not only do we love them, but our family and friends compliment on the photos as well. I have recommended Dennis to our friends...Hire Dennis, you won't regret it! read more

Of all of the aspects of our wedding, photos were by far the most important to us. I have worked with plenty of photographers over the years: family photos, graduation pics, event photographers. But Dennis by far is the best. He is meticulous, detail-oriented, intuitive, and has an eye for "the perfect shot"... so much so - that Dennis wanted to do a "test shoot" to see how we photograph, angles, and get my quiet fiance comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. (Added bonus - he's SO MUCH FUN!) My jaw dropped when I saw a few of his "test" photos. And when wedding day arrived, everyone commented on his enthusiasm and persistence in getting the best photos. Dennis sent some "teasers" yesterday, and I am simply BLOWN AWAY!!!! Look no further than Dennis for wedding photography!! read more

Studio Dizon is awesome! Best package for the best price and the best service. Believe me too because I did ALOT of research and met up with a good amount of photographers. I have worked with Dennis a few times for our package (engagement shoot and wedding day)) and I love his ideas and approach. He never pushes any ideas on you..and will always listen to you. My concern at the time was that he had never done a traditional asian wedding so he dealt with my craziness when I had an itinerary of everything that was suppose to happen every hour of the wedding day. He did an amazing job. He came with an assistant who helped with the lighting..and they hit both my husband's house and my house while we were getting ready! Very good attention to details. That is the key because on your wedding..you are stressing to make everything perfect that you forget to enjoy the beauty of everything. Fun geniune shots reveal family's expressions. Plus he normally doesn't do family portraits during the wedding day, but he was able to do that for me as well as going out for our bridal shots. It was a great mixture of different types of photos- portraits, artistic, journalistic..you name it. And that was just for the wedding. The engagement shoot...boy, he spent the WHOLE day with us because we wanted to go to all these places that my husband and I spent our childhood together. I felt bad because I made him almost late for another shoot later that night in SF. I have recommended him to many and would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. PS. It helps alot that he's so easy to reach..you can call, text, email him and he replies almost immediately. I've been flustered with alot of people during my wedding preparation journey ...when after you pay, they pretty much disappear until the last minute! Dennis takes customer service seriously...I have a crazy work schedule....so the fact that he will meet at your house to get things done won me over. Customer satisfaction is very important to me as you can tell because I'm a huge yelper...luckily, he is one of those rare gems that will go above and beyond to obtain that. read more

I can not thank enough Kristen, Dennis, Shane and Adam for the amazing job they did at our wedding last weekend. Our wedding coordinator had some major slip-ups but they were all there to help pick up the pieces (yes--literally too!) I was amazed how they would do anything to help and were so supportive and friendly the entire time. Yes, weddings are super stressful and it was a great feeling knowing I had them behind me. Studio Dizon is responsive, on time, creative and on top of their game. They are definitely not your typical photographers. :) We had an engagement shoot with Dennis, our wedding was photographed by Kristen, Shane and Adam and then we did an aftershoot in SF with Dennis and Shane. We enjoyed every minute and are so glad they were able to be apart of our memories! We enjoyed working with the Studio Dizon team and can't wait to see all the gorgeous pictures!!! Thanks guys! :) read more

Warning: This review will be super long, but detailed because I know brides want details!!!! I have been working with Dennis for photography and Amy, his business partner for flowers. I cannot believe how amazing they were. They really were the glue that held my wedding dreams together. They took an idea of mine and created a stunning venue out of it. First, let's talk about the photo work. Dennis is an absolute professional and is on top of his game. I am so lucky that I decided to work with Dennis because I honestly believe that I would have not receive the wedding of my dreams without his company. Dennis is fun and erratic, but I love that about him. He's very into aesthetics, which is important to me as well. He understands how to get the image you're looking for. I have seen some of the photos he's taken from my wedding yesterday and they were gorgeous. Also, his engagement photo work was beyond belief. I had wanted an engagement shoot that reflected something completely different from me and my spouse's everyday life. What came out of it was an amazing retro shoot in California Theater. The pictures were incredible. He is so focused during work and you know he's able to see shots that not an average eye would see. For example, he used a curvature of a piece of furniture to create an outstanding shot. His art speaks for itself. Not only that, he is super dependable. HE WILL BE THERE ON TIME AND WILL HOLD UP HIS END OF THE BARGAIN. So, if he says he's going to be there at this time, or meeting you at this place, or delivering items you requested, he will follow through with his word and will be on time. He is super reliable and I cannot tell you that this made our wedding stress-free. As you may or may not know, Dennis works with Amy Eimer. Amy does the floral work. Dennis and Amy delivered 1000x more than I expected. The didn't cheapen out, they got me tons of flowers!!!! At first, I was a little hesitant to hire her because I fell in love with another florist Instagram; however, when talking to Amy and seeing how much she cared about me and my wants, I wanted to work with her. It was the best decision I could have ever made, because without her, I don't think my venue would have looked the same. She truly listened to every word that I said but wasn't afraid to stick in her ideas when she knew it would only benefit me. Because of this, both my wedding venues looked spectacular. My friends and family were amazed with the work and the flower selections. Thankfully, I trusted her craftsmanship because it really paid off in the long run. They even added some finishing touches that I didn't even know about until I saw them and they were amazing. Also, Amy was a professional as well. She was willing to meet with me to talk flowers and answers emails and texts immediately. I love Amy. She is so easy to talk to and has such an agreeable personality. She knows her weddings. Amy and Dennis made my atypical wedding (which was a restaurant that never held a wedding before) look like a million bucks. They were able to take all the knick-knacks I bought throughout and put it together better than I could ever have - better than anyone could have. Their attention to detail was amazing and seriously, their aesthetics are on point. Seriously, hire Amy to do you flowers, you won't be let down. Hire Dennis if you want amazing pictures. Better yet, hire them both, they make an amazing dream team and will do anything to make your wedding dreams come true. read more

What a wonderful engagement session experience. Dennis, thank you so much for your time and for exceeding my expectations. Overall, Dennis is very pleasant to work with. My fiance and I had so much fun with the shoot - it was light, we laughed so much and the photos turned out just perfect. Dennis came with two other team members (who were nice) during our scheduled shoot, made a fresh floral arrangement for my shoot and captured all of my right angles (and I'm super picky about any photo taken of me). Dennis was mostly hands-off which initially scared me since I thought I needed direction every step of the way. However, Dennis' light instructions made the shoot a fun breeze. I feel that because Dennis understood my likes, which we discussed a few weeks prior to the shoot, he knew how/what/where to shoot without being obtrusive. Another great thing about Dennis is that he is super responsive to any text or email I send to him and his timeline of getting the photos to me were reasonable and on time. I made a great decision to go with Dennis and I highly recommend him. I will definitely be hiring Dennis in the future for any shoots I may need. Thanks Dennis! read more

Dennis has an eye for taking amazing photos! He took our Engagement photos and our Wedding photos. He knew exactly what we wanted after meeting with him. He's very professional and down to earth and all of our "poses" were all natural looking. We had our engagement pictures in SF and our wedding at the Corinthian Event Center in SJ and we were limited on time and sunlight for photos....but Dennis and his crew pulled it off. He experimented with lighting at night and made our pictures even more unique. We've been getting so many praises by friends and family at how amazing our pictures came out! You will NOT be disappointed with his work! Thanks again Dennis for our pictures that i will cherish forever. :) read more

Dennis is one of the most amazing people I've met during my engagement journey. He took our engagement photos as well as our wedding day pictures. He is extremely talented, creative, and soooo much fun to work with! We've worked with other photographers before and Dennis makes everything so much more fun! My now husband and I aren't good at posing but our engagement photos turned out looking like a magazine photoshoot. Sometimes it can be awkward trying to pose for the camera but he gave us really good instructions and made us look like models. :) He's a genuine and passionate photographer who really has "an eye" for creativity. I would highly recommend him as a wedding photographer as he was extremely patient with our guests and worked very hard to capture our best moments. I can't wait to work with him again in the future!! read more

If you're a bride looking for a wedding photographer, save your time and energy and stop right here. DENNIS DIZON GARCIA of STUDIO DIZON will be the BEST wedding vendor decision you'll ever make. If you're looking for a professional wedding photographer, or a photographer for any event for that matter, I would HIGHLY recommend Dennis and his team for the following reasons: 1. professional as well as personable: From the start, Dennis was always very professional and reliable. We had an initial consultation prior to my booking his team to discuss the specific vintage look that I was going for. That first meeting was the beginning of a year-long relationship. During all of our meetings/conversations/shoots, he always came prepared and addressed all of my questions. He really goes above and beyond in order to elicit your preferences in a comfortable manner and provide exactly what you are looking for. His interactions and communications (via email, phone, or in person) were always very professional. Dennis (along with the rest of his team) is also very personable, friendly, and easy to work with, which brings me to #2: 2. collaborative: Dennis really worked with me to achieve just the look(s) that I was looking for. I showed him examples of some of my ideas and he would then provide his feedback and make suggestions remaining within the confines of the vintage look that I wanted to achieve. Although I had an idea of what I wanted, he made recommendations to really make our pictures unique. He is flexible and is really attuned to what his clients want. He takes into account the purpose of the shoot (wedding vs. engagement), the venue/environment (indoors vs. outdoors), outfits, props/accessories, etc..I always felt very comfortably talking to him and he was always receptive to my feedback and requests. 3. technical skill and quality: It is clear that Dennis has the proper training and technical skill to deliver a high quality product. During my wedding planning, there were two areas that were my highest priorities: videography and photography. While I was "shopping" for photographers, Studio Dizon seemed like the "best bang for my buck" and they truly did not disappoint. Rather, they exceeded my expectations with our engagement shoot alone, and more so with our wedding pictures. It was our best decision ever. We received innumerable comments and positive feedback on our shoots and everyone wanted to know who our photographer was. Studio Dizon offers high quality as well as exceptional service at a very reasonable price. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Overall, Studio Dizon was a complete joy to work with. I'm actually sad to say that the wedding is over because my husband and I had developed such a close relationship with Dennis and his team. Needless to say, we loved our pictures and we hope to enlist their services again for future events/pictures (i.e. family shoots, baby pictures, etc...). They did such an awesome, amazing job and we couldn't be happier with the decision that we made. read more

Just when you think wedding photographers don't cry anymore at their clients weddings here comes Dennis! This is a young, vibrant, extremely gifted wedding photographer with a talent that goes far beyond his camera. His heart is poured into every client and I mean it! His entire team makes every couple feel and look like a million bucks!! Totally a no judgement zone ... I had the opportunity of working with Dennis a few weeks back and I have to say his energy is contagious!! From the moment I met him and worked with him I knew I was going to love him! The images produced from the wedding were just as you'd imagine .... Beyond expectations. He works hard to deliver and his main goal is to make clients happy. But we want to make him happy too so it's a win win!!! If you want to enjoy your day without a care and know you will have beautiful images to cherish for a lifetime, meet Dennis and you will understand. So excited to see this young talent flourish and soar... You couldn't be in better hands on a day like your wedding! read more

We had Dennis do our Engagement shoot and our wedding pictures. He has a very eccentric personality, very friendly and very likable. Some of the poses he has us do are the typical, and he has some that are very cool. He was very open to trying out some poses we suggested for him. Many of his shots turned out very amazing and very clear. If you compare his work to others, he doesn't need to blur out any pictures to make them nice. He goes for a very crisp and realistic shot and editing. We looked at other photographers and many of theirs was highly edited and made things look more fake. We really liked Dennis style and the way he did our pictures. You can tell by the communication that he is a very busy person and hires a lot of clients, but you can also see that he tries really hard to make clients happy. During our engagement shoot, we had negotiated with him various different locations and shots. It was getting very late and it was getting night time, and he was still wanting our time to get as much shots in as possible. As busy as he is, you can tell he puts a lot of heart into his clients. We got our pictures back couple months after the wedding and they were as expected similar to our engagement pics, fabulous. If you like his style, I definitely would recommend him. Just a little tip, just be patient with him. Like many other wedding vendors, they are all busy people, but Dennis is one of those where when it's time to do the work, he works hard. read more

For all the couples planning their weddings right now, you know how easy it is to argue over the details of every aspect of the big day, including which vendors to hire. We didn't agree on a whole lot of things, but hiring Dennis was pretty unanimous. All two of us agreed! He has a nice little office in downtown San Jose now, but before he got famous, we had our first client/vendor meeting at bookstore/coffee shop. He brought with him samples of finished products from his previous clients. Needless to say we were pretty impressed. He has different packages for us to choose from, varying in price and in quantity of finished products. We booked him the following day for a package that included an engagement shoot, two wedding ceremonies on two different days, all the raw and edited photos, an 18x24, and an album. My wife and I have never done any sort of photo shoot before, so we didn't quite know what to expect. However, working with Dennis was pretty fun. Not saying that it was easy (because Dennis has to have the perfect shot =) but it was a good experience. His ideas, vision and creativity are top notch. The turnaround time to get your pictures back is pretty quick (1 - 2 months). He spread out our payments over four installments, which worked out well for us in budgeting for all of these ridiculous wedding expenses! =) He did our engagement shoot at an airfield in Livermore and at numerous locations thoroughout SF. We had two wedding ceremonies, back-to-back. One was a traditional Cambodian ceremony on a Friday morning in San Jose, and then a traditional western ceremony in Monterey the next day. Furthermore, since the day of the wedding was so busy for bride/groom shots, we scheduled an after-wedding shoot a couple of weeks later back in Monterey. As you can see, he will go out of his way to work around your schedule and location desires. All in all, we are very satisfied with Dennis' work. Too bad we have since moved to San Diego, otherwise we would have hired him to shoot our pregnancy and newborn baby pictures =) Thanks, Dennis! P.S. Dennis, if you're reading this, we'll get you our inputs for our album soon =) read more

We hired Dennis for our engagement and wedding photos. We love them both! It's so hard to pick our favorites because there are so many we love. He was fun and professional. Dennis is amazing! He is creative and very helpful. My fiancé and I had dealt with various other photographers before we had the pleasure of meeting him. He was understanding of our budget and worked with us every step of the way. He was never pushy and always had amazing ideas to make our photos look beautiful. Our wedding day hasn't come yet but our engagement pictures that he did are jaw dropping beautiful. I can't say enough on how much I love our pictures. Dennis was always available if ever I had a question about my package or even questions about other pictures that I want to take in the future. We are incredibly glad that we chose Studio Dizon to be our wedding photographer. Dennis was our photographer and he was fantastic to work with. It was very easy to communicate with him throughout the process and we appreciated how responsive he was. He is an amazing photographer -- he's incredibly sharp and is able to tell what kinds of styles and moods we liked by observing my wife's and my interactions and getting to know who we are. His photo packages are also awesome and we loved that we were able to get engagement photos with him too. Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out better than we could have hoped or imagined. We were filled with tears and touched to see the beautiful photos he took and edited. His composition is so artistic, not to mention how carefully and skillfully he edited each photo. We could tell that he spent a lot of time and care selecting and editing the photos. He's so talented at finding the perfect viewpoints and backdrops-- many of the final photos were such pleasant surprises to see how amazingly and cinematic he made our engagement and wedding days seem. He's also very efficient the day of and helpful in directing us on how to pose, where to look, etc. which we needed a lot of help on as my wife and I are both awkward in front of cameras. We felt well supported and was able to focus on enjoying the wedding, because we knew Dennis was taking care of capturing all the important moments. Nick was his assistant for both occasions and we were so grateful for him too. Nick was also very kind and patient as he helped to fix our hairs and clothes to help make sure we were getting the best photos taken. It was a great pleasure working with and befriending Dennis and his team. We would hands down recommend Studio Dizon and definitely are spreading the word among our friends! read more

My fiance and I hired Dennis about a year ago to shoot our wedding this May. We did our engagement pictures in august, and let me tell you, he was amazing! He spent 4 hours with us going around northern Cali and snapping pictures. He made my fiance and I feel like superstars and even treated us to gelato =] He has an amazing eye for photography. People are still raving about our photos. Also, from the moment I first contacted him, to now, he has been very responsive. He answers emails and texts quickly and never leavs us hanging. I honestly could not have asked for a better photographer. Although he has not shot our wedding yet, I am confident that our pictures will turn out amazing! read more

Dennis of Studio Dizon did an amazing job with my wife and I wedding. Considering we planned a big wedding in less than 8 months Dennis accomodated us with the best package and went well beyond our expectations. He is very creative with all his shots and editing. He worked with my wife on every detail to make sure she was really happy. That means alot to me considering my wife has only been in the states less than a year. Dennis takes real pride in his work and will put more work beyond his normal contract to make his clients happy. He gave us 2 engagement shoots in 3 different locations in seperate days to give us more options on pictures to use. I thought that was really acommodating for us. The day of the wedding he brought his whole crew who did an amazing job to capture the greatest moments in our life. My family and I couldn't be more satisfied. I have my own company and I know how it is important to give great service and to go beyond the expectations for a client. Dennis of Studio Dizon showed the professionalism, hard work and on-time service we could ever asked for. Thank you for making our special day a very memorable one! read more

Dennis shot a friend's wedding last year and her photos were stunning. There was no question that we would also hire Dennis to shoot my wedding once my boyfriend at the time proposed - which he did. My husband and I took engagement photos in San Francisco and Dennis spent almost 5 hours with us moving locations all over the city. The photos he sent us were STUNNING!! My husband and I were married last Friday at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma and I am counting the days to see the wedding photos because I know they will be beautiful. Thank you Dennis! read more

Dennis did an amazing job for my wedding in June 2012. When we booked him he insisted that we have an engagement session which husband and I were not necessarily looking for however I am extremely happy that we did one. All the pictures turned out amazing and it just reinforced to me that we picked the right photographer. For the engagement session Dennis came all the way out to Oakland and did a great job in a location he had never shot before! The colors in all the pictures were amazing and we looked so great! For the wedding Dennis went along with us to multiple locations (one for getting ready, one for the bride w/ the bridesmaids, and ultimately the ceremony/reception site). He was great and made sure to capture all the moments. Once again his pictures turned our beautifully and I could not have been happier with the documentation of the happiest day of my life!! read more

I have worked with Dennis in the past and his professionalism and expertise in his craft is unparalleled. He caters to each of his clients and tailors their photos around their needs. Dennis and Studio Dizon were fabulous. They did our wedding on July 9th at Saints Peter and Paul Church and at the Green Room inside the San Francisco War Memorial. Dennis also took are of our engagement pictures. My wife and I struggled to find a photographer that was in our budget (under 4k) and had the talent and eye to pull off what my wife was looking for. We wanted a natural and candid feel for our pictures (none of this posed stuff...although when you do engagement pics you have to do it that way) One of the cool things with Dennis was there was no time limit (most photographers had an 8 hour limit and then they would charge you more) Dennis arrived at the hotel at 11am and was with my wife until we shut down the reception at 10pm. For me looking at the pictures of my wife getting ready made me feel like I was there in the room with her, her bridesmaids etc. He really captured the moment. Dennis and his two assistants covered EVERY aspect of the ceremony, pre and post pics at Saints Peter and Paul, then photos outside of the war memorial and finally the reception. He had EVERYTHING planned out so we were were able to get all the shots in that we wanted. We would hire Dennis again in second. If you want a talented, artistic, hard working, reasonably priced photographer Dennis is your man. read more

What more can I say about Dennis and his crew that hasn't been previously expressed here? Professionalism at its best but more importantly, the quality of work he produces is unbelievably top notch. He has managed to provide us with stunning engagement photos and best believe the wedding photos will be nothing short of amazing! He was able to guide us through poses throughout the shooting process but more importantly, he made us feel comfortable at the same time. He posed a new and cool idea for our first look which I'm dying to see. I highly recommend Dennis and his company for your engagement/wedding photos as his work is simply amazing. read more

When my fiancé started looking for photographers to book for our wedding, we were referred to Dennis. Being that my husband (now) is a photographer himself, he's pretty critical so I left it up to him to select. After we met with Dennis at his studio and saw his array of work in various styles, we knew he was "the one"! He and his staff were the perfect blend of professionalism, fun and creative. We got nothing but jaw dropping compliments on our Engagement photos. We took a more editorial style shoot with our engagement while going a bit on the classic style for our actual wedding day. I am looking forward to seeing the post production shots of our wedding day but I know it will be amazing as his talent doesn't produce anything less. Thank you! Love Mr&Mrs Hill read more

I'm so thankful for the outstanding work Dennis and his team did on my daughter's wedding. The most important day will never be forgotten because of the beautiful work that Dennis and his team produced. I received many praises from my family and friends because of gorgeous pictures and the natural poses, and now I have beautiful memories of her special day. Times have changed and if you want a photographer who has a modern approach and takes pride in his own work then I highly recommend Dennis @ Studio Dizon. You will be very happy because he delivered everything he promised and more. Her special day was flawless and so were the pictures. Thank you Dennis!!! read more

I hired Dennis to photograph my wife's baby shower in May of 2012. The pictures were fantastic. My wife and I have those memories captured exactly as we would have hoped. Dennis was able to convey, through his photos, the joy my wife was feeling as she celebrated with her friends and family. Subsequently, Dennis has photographed my brother and his fiance engagement photos. They were beyond amazing. What Dennis has the ability to do is see the person, and create art that represents their specific personality. I would high recommend Studio Dizon to anyone looking to memorialize their special day. Dennis and his team truly are passionate about the work they do, and it shows in the results. read more

Dennis is a gem amongst Bay Area photographers. He has a natural knack of capturing all important moments for any special occasion. He is unique and original - you won't find any cheesy poses or "forced" shots from Dennis! He prides himself on finding the most natural, fun, candid shots - ones that you'll treasure for years to come. My husband and I first hired Dennis to photograph our Cambodian-style engagement party in April 2010. Dennis and his assistant were wonderful - he took pictures of me and my fiance-at-the-time getting ready, of my family getting ready, and guests arriving. During the ceremony my family was amazed with how enthusiastic Dennis was and how easy it was to work with him! All of the guests enjoyed his style as he brought a lot of energy to the crowd. After the engagement ceremony, he took formal photos of my husband and I with our family and friends. Dennis edited our photos in a timely manner and he was nice enough to edit more photos than we had agreed upon! Our positive experience with Dennis during the engagement party prompted us to book him for our wedding. My husband and I were married this past May, and we love looking at our photos. We are so tempted to order a wedding album as well - his wedding packages (which includes an engagement photo session) are very reasonable as well!! We took our engagement photos with Dennis in the late afternoon atop a hill in the Evergreen area, and the photos turned out amazing. You will definitely not be disappointed with having Dennis as your photographer. He's the best out there!! read more

When I first saw Dennis of Studio Dizon's work I knew I had to have him shoot my wedding! Working with Dennis the past year for my engagement shoot and wedding has been a dream. He is a very talented artist to say the least. His aesthetic for capturing unique and creative shots while remaining personal and intimate is truly amazing. Dennis drove all the way down to San Diego and spent an entire day with us for our engagement shoot. At our wedding, we had three people on site shooting and assisting. My guests commented on how impressed they were by the amount of photo equipment, professionalism and how hard Dennis and his team worked for 12+ hours that day. Once I received the photos, it was well worth the wait. Dennis captured moments and details I never even noticed or otherwise could have forgotten in the blur of it all. I have received countless comments on how beautiful the photos are. Thank you, Dennis. I wish I could get married all over again just to work with you some more ;) read more

Weddings are a whirlwind of anticipation, expectation and anxious excitement. Dennis not only did not add to that inevitable intensity, but diminished it greatly. His calm and professional creative cool made for a smooth, enjoyable process from start to finish. The journey began with my wife and my engagement photos taken with our, then, eighteen month daughter in our favorite neighborhood park. Followed by a swift jump in the car and a 45 mile drive to capture some beautiful sunset photos at Stinson Beach. Great informative correspondence over the next few months, led to a very special wedding ceremony and reception with my wife, our family and close friends in Tiburon where Dennis and his team meticulously documented every special moment throughout the day. At least... I think they did. It was like they weren't even there! They blended into the crowd, perceived and anticipated the moment and closed in unbeknownst to their subject and seized the scene. That, to me, is a true sign of an accomplished craftsman. And the photos came out simply amazing. Dennis' attention to detail through pre, production and post is superb. I should know, I suppose. I'm a bit of an industry geek. Dennis is a quintessential pro, an artistic perfectionist... but most importantly, a really nice guy with a great eye and an accommodating nature. He's unflappable in every way. You will not disappointed with his work or the experience in working with him. Feel confident in selecting him as the documentarian for your special occasion. We did. Thanks, Dennis. read more
