Toan and team are the absolute very best - worked directly with Toan, Martin, Trieu, and Michael and all very professional and super easy to get along with! We used Toanven photography for our engagement photoshoot / pre wedding , church wedding ceremony at St.Jarlath Catholic Church and civil wedding at Nella terra cellars. Also used their videography services which was also really great. When looking for a photographer , we wanted to make sure that our photographer is easy going, can help guide us and has experience with our venue. I discovered Toanven photography because my best friend used their services for her wedding and after finding out Toan had lots of experience at Nella Terra we knew we had to meet him. On our first zoom call Toan was beyond welcoming and excited which made us excited. He made us laugh, made us comfortable and answered all of our questions and broke down the whole process. Before the wedding Toan helped us better plan our timeline for photos and took his time to understand what were the "must have photos". He gave us alternatives on how we can still get pictures with others and saving time. His advice on a family shot list was super helpful as well. On wedding day Toan was just the person I needed around me with all the craziness of wedding day. His personality bring calmness and he is quick to think if a photo location doesn't work well for the lighting - he found better positioning and areas for the photos the look flawless. Beyond helpful when it came to posing, how to stand , where to look and capture all the right angles. Lastly, Depending on the package you go for, you will get a set number of edits photos and our photos were so amazing it was hard to reach the number of edits we can use. That says a lot about how the quality of the photos are and how they already shine! So reach out to Toanven photography, I promise you will love every moment!

They had beautiful backgrounds and so many fun props for my baby to play with. We also added on the sibling option, and both of my kids had such a great time during the session. Ted was incredibly patient with my kids and managed to capture so many sweet and adorable moments naturally. My husband greatly appreciated Justin's recommendations for photo ideas. For our wedding, Justin and his second photographer were nothing short of amazing. Justin was able to use the venues spaces very creatively and effectively--I was very impressed with Justin's ability to stage us and our family and wedding party without having seen the venues before. The photos made me appreciate the venues in ways I had not thought of. Justin was able to turn around two photographers' and 10 hours worth of photos in 2 weeks. We were very impressed! Justin has a way of making people feel comfortable. That was true of my husband and me, as well as our wedding parties and families. The end result was amazing photos that we love, and our friends and family have told us look great. We are so happy we got to work with Justin and his team!

Barely more expensive than Walgreens, but you will have a much more flattering photo for years to come. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back for family photos soon! Disappointing Maternity & Newborn Photoshoot Experience…read more We had a very disappointing experience across both our maternity and newborn photoshoots. For the maternity session, there was no proper pre-discussion about locations or outfits. We were simply asked to choose from previously taken images, which felt impersonal. During the shoot, the session felt rushed, and the photographer appeared disengaged, as if they wanted to finish early. From a 2-hour session, we could barely select around 10 usable images, which reflects the overall quality. We also noticed technical issues with the camera, including frequent error messages during burst shots. For the newborn session, we had informed them in advance that we would be about 30 minutes late due to our baby's doctor appointment. Despite this, one of the planned props was removed, which felt inflexible given the circumstances. There was also a significant delay of about four weeks beyond the expected timeline in delivering the edited images, without clear communication or accountability. After delivery, communication continued to be frustrating. We received emails indicating additional charges if image selections were not made within 30 days, which felt pressured--especially considering the delay in delivery was on their side. At the same time, when we requested a re-edit for one of the selected images, we had to follow up multiple times and did not receive timely responses. Additionally, some comments made during the newborn shoot were uncomfortable and inappropriate. Remarks about the baby's skin tone and comments regarding the mother's feeding choices were hurtful and unexpected, especially for a one-month-old baby. We expected a much more respectful and sensitive environment. There was also no prior discussion about props for the newborn shoot -- only a couple of setups were pre-arranged, and we felt limited to those options. Similar to the maternity shoot, the overall photography quality did not meet expectations. From a 1.5-hour session, we could barely select around 15 images, and the editing felt very basic, with some images appearing minimally edited. Given our experience, the overall service felt unprofessional, inflexible, and lacking in quality. These are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and we expected a much more thoughtful, skilled, and supportive experience. Also, please don't go based on Instagram followers alone -- our experience did not reflect the expectations set by their online presence. If you are looking for a photographer who communicates well, provides guidance, and creates a comfortable and enjoyable session -- especially with a newborn -- this may not be the right fit.

The prices were clearly listed when I first contacted them, unlike the others who wanted to know what I needed first or wanted my phone number first. Communication was clear and professional. The only star deducted was that they wanted cash (not even Zelle) when they deliver. So, someone has to be at the house at time of delivery. That was a little weird. Other than that, they delivered a day before the event and pick up the day after the event, so I was not stressed on the day.
