It was a pleasure to work with Sehee. From looking at her portfolio, selecting a photographer was easy! I liked her artistic style and the way she uses light to make photos cinematic and pop! She was fantastic at communicating about our meet and managed my expectations well. She wasted no time making every minute of my hour with her worthwhile, all filled with different shots, with the utmost thought to angles and locations. Her work speaks for itself. From start to finish, she was an amazing professional! I have always wanted to do a photo shoot at the iconic TWA hotel and I treated myself to this experience for my birthday. She made the memory more delightful and a forever keepsake with the most beautiful results! I would, without a doubt, book her again on my next trip to NYC! With so many wonderful sights there, I know she can help capture my memories and make them more amazing to reflect on! ***Highly Recommend *** read more

Zero stars. Truly one of the most unprofessional and frustrating experiences I've ever had. I booked a spring photo shoot with my dog for Saturday morning and planned everything in advance -- grooming, hair, makeup, timing -- the whole thing. Sehee completely forgot about the shoot. I waited, called, and texted with no response, only for her to eventually call me back and casually say she had just woken up. When I asked what I should do, instead of taking accountability or trying to fix the situation, she asked to reschedule for the next day -- when it was supposed to rain, which is exactly why I carefully planned for today. At that point, I was already out time, money, and effort -- standing there fully ready with my freshly groomed dog -- for absolutely nothing. To make things worse, about an hour later she posted on Instagram that she was late to another photoshoot because she had partied too hard watching Coachella, but said it was "worth it." That is beyond disrespectful and completely unacceptable behavior for someone running a business. This was not just an inconvenience -- it was careless, unprofessional, and honestly insulting as a paying client. I expect a full refund immediately. I would strongly discourage anyone from booking here if reliability and basic professionalism matter to you. read more

I recently booked a photoshoot with Sehee in Brooklyn. I was very nervous in the beginning because it was my first time doing a professional photoshoot. However, she was so funny and easygoing, and it felt more like taking photos with my best friend than doing a professional shoot. We were laughing and chatting the whole time, but she was also incredibly fast and efficient, so I ended up getting way more photos than she had promised. Her professionalism and friendly energy created such a relaxed atmosphere, and even though I usually feel awkward in front of the camera, this time I felt completely at ease thanks to her natural gift. read more

We hired Sehee to shoot our elopement at our church and couldn't be more thrilled with her work! We never planned to elope, but found ourselves having to replan our whole wedding since family couldn't travel to NYC because of COVID. I had a hard time finding a photographer for a short amount time that we trusted to capture the most important hour of our lives so far. After a few hours of searches/portfolios, I came across Sehee's stand out work and wanted to hire her. I'm so glad we did! She's really responsive and communicative, making it easy to schedule. Once we had everything set, we appreciate that she took time to scout out the location in advanced and research poses for our portraits. She really went above and beyond in prep! On the day of, she did a great job directing us and making us feel comfortable getting our picture taken. Neither of us are very experienced in getting our picture taken, so her instructions were really helpful! Once the ceremony was underway, she captured so many moments from so many different angles. When we got our pictures, we were blown away, not only by her skills, but also that she was able to provide so many of our special moments that we will treasure forever. We highly recommend! read more

Sehee was incredibly sweet, reliable, patient and now that I've just received my pictures I can confirm incredibly talented as well! I did a photo shoot in Central Park with my family, my brother's family and my parents as a birthday present for my mom. We have 4 kids altogether between ages 1-6 and my husband who could barely sit because he had recently gotten surgery. She didn't get frustrated once trying to get everyone to look AND smile and somehow she succeeded in getting MANY incredible shots with everyone looking and smiling! Even my mom who's very critical is extremely happy with all the great pics! I particularly loved that Sehee sent a questionnaire beforehand asking who's going to be in the pictures (ages, etc), did we want candids or posed, what our main goal was with this shoot - and it was clear she REALLY listened to what I said. I would absolutely recommend Sehee and can't wait to use her again myself for our future family shoots! read more

Can't recommend Sehee enough! From the start, she went above and beyond to make sure that the shoot went well. I'd requested a unique and challenging location, and Sehee not only accepted the course, but helped guide me there (since I was new to the area) and even went out of her way to keep me safe in less-than-ideal areas in that setting. She handled everything with such grace and humor, and I was so nervous going in, but her warmth and professionalism put me at ease. The photos also turned out beautifully, and she went out of her way to make sure that I was happy with the outcome, too... Would work again with her in a heartbeat, whether in NY or elsewhere! read more

I can't rave about Sehee enough. We first worked with her last year for holiday photos for our family when our little one was an infant and we received so many compliments from friends and family about our portraits! We loved her work so much that she was our top choice for family photos again this year. She arrives early to scout out the location and find the absolute best spots for the photos. She has an incredible eye and an ability to make people at ease and capture their essence and personality through the photos - and with a 17-month old, this is not an easy task! I love the way she uses natural light to illuminate our faces and makes the photos look almost like paintings. I would definitely recommend her for any occasion and she'll always be our favorite family photographer! read more

My partner and I hired and asked Sehee to capture our wedding dinner celebration with friends at a local restaurant in Brooklyn. I have imagined the photos and videos to be vintage-esque and shared some of my own vision and ideas with Sehee via email . When we first met the day of the event, I had the impression of Sehee being very calm, gentle and focused. During the event, she had the right balance of interacting when needed and blending in to capture special moments when necessary. I loved the photos and videos -- her work shows that she really listened and understood the vibe we are going for. It brings me so much joy just looking through the intimate moments of our friends and the event she captured from that night. Sehee is AMAZING! I have a six month old baby and wanted to do a family photoshoot at a local community garden with baby, my husband, and myself. Sehee was super responsive and reasonably priced, and when it rained the day-of, she and I texted back and forth as we watched the weather and coordinated the shoot NOT ONLY with the rain but with the baby's nap schedule. In less than an hour she got dozens of really beautiful, authentic, and natural-looking photos. I love her original style - it really captured our family perfectly and she was a pleasure to work with. read more

We have a tradition to have family photo shooting when we go on a trip. We researched photographers in New York City online and found Sehee really fits the style we were looking for for the city photo shooting. It may be coincidence, we had one friend share her photographer info when she was in NYC because we liked her fashion photos very much. It turned out to be Sehee too! We really like the airy, clean, clear feeling of Sehee's photos and the color tone. Sehee is good at telling us how to pose in front of camera, she's also patient with my daughter's pose requests. I were lucky to have her in our NYC trip and leave such beautiful memory. read more

We did a newborn photoshoot with Sehee and LOVE the photos! Great mix of portraits in different settings, candid and posed. Posed shots look natural, sweet family photos without being cheesy. We shot in our apartment and outside, all turned out great, beautiful lighting. We had a good time during the shoot - Sehee was really nice, made us feel relaxed. She did a great job of guiding the shoot, but also asked us what we wanted in advance and on the day. I am already planning on hiring her again for baby's first birthday! :) Would highly recommend! read more

Sehee was our engagement photographer and she did an amazing (AMAZING!) job. She was punctual, calm, gave us guidance on nice poses, and very friendly. I'm not photogenic but she made me look like a model. She did an amazing job of capturing candid moments and making our posed pictures look so natural. I highly recommend her for any photo shoot. My wife and I have already used her twice! read more

Excellent service in terms of friendly collaboration, professional quality photos, and efficient business. You're left with the comfortable feeling that you were in good hands and the promises made will be kept, an important thing to know in this tough and sometimes shady industry full of ego and empty promises that risk your bank accounts if you pick the wrong person. But with Sehee, you get a bargain price for many beautiful shots that captivate the eyes of your fans, followers and, in my experience, editors and publishers. She is a creative, flexible and naturally-gifted photographer and an excellent photo editor because she takes the time she needs to perfectly-balance the colors, light, angles and all the other technical aspects of photography. Highly recommend. read more

Sehee's photoshoot was an engagement gift, that I have received 4 hours prior to the photoshoot. I had no time to style my hair, to prepare the outfits and to think about logistics. On top of that I work in marketing and I've been working with the best photographers in NYC, so my standards of photography is very-very high. I am so thankful to my fiancé for this gift and for choosing Sehee. Her personality and professionalism were able to make us feel ourselves and relaxed in front of the camera. It was our first photoshoot as a couple and I cannot be happier with the results: just in 2 hours we were able to get stunning photos where our love was captured in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I will absolutely recommend Sehee. Take at least 3 hours. And think about the locations you'd like to have a photoshoot in advance. The hard part is to choose which photos we will print out :) Thanks Sehee and Matt for the perfect day and memories! read more
