Exceptional Care at Studio B Smiles I recently moved from Salt Lake City to Scottsdale, and finding a new dentist felt daunting. Studio B Smiles instantly put me at ease. A big shout-out to the entire team -- they made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. Giselle set the tone right away. She's uber professional, and from that first interaction I could tell the visit was going to go well. She truly has that front office running like clockwork. Lexxi explained everything she was doing while evaluating and cleaning my teeth, making the whole process comfortable and easy to understand. Kate assisted Dr. K seamlessly -- attentive, reassuring, and steady the whole way through. And Dr. K is outstanding. She's thorough, calming, and clearly takes real pride in her work. You can feel how much she cares about her patients. I left feeling confident and very well taken care of. If you're new to the area--or simply looking for a dependable, welcoming dental team--Studio B Smiles Phoenix is an excellent choice. read more

I've been a patient of Studio B for close to 12 years! I cant believe I haven't left a review yet- as Dr. B does great work! Dr. B is a cosmetic dentist and has State-of-the-Art technology. When he does any procedure he makes sure that everything in my mouth looks great- or offers a suggestion for what to do. I've long been fascinated with his new gadgets that help him perform a better service. His team of technicians are super friendly, and supportive of one another and very knowledgeable. Also, for longer appointments (like teeth whitening) he has new release movies that he offers to his patients. I visit both the Phoenix and Scottsdale locations. Side note: the Phoenix one is pretty cool- as he is the official Phoenix Suns Dentist- his office is in the Suns medical building- and you never know who you will run into there! read more

This is a Rich-Man's Dentist. The quality is great, the service is great and they will try to up-sell you every time. I took out a loan and paid 50K (not covered) to get my entire mouth reconstructed and was also told that my compromised bite would be fixed as well. It was never addressed and was a huge disappointment for me. I've sent several patients to them who were dissatisfied because they had to deal with being up-sold and their high prices. When they asked for feedback, they really want positive feedback or little criticism. I gave them both negative and positive feed back (a few times too many), It was suggested to me by Dr. Badalato to move on. He didn't care to take responsibility for his miscommunication and misunderstanding and that is shame because he's good at what he does. I ran a successful high-end business for 15 years and there are two rules to follow... Rule #1 - The client is ALWAYS Right and Rule #2 - If you think the client is wrong, refer to Rule #1~! It would benefit Studio B Smiles to post that in their office. The bottom line is... No matter where you go, until you know who you are doing business with.... Buyer Be Aware. There are way too many dentists in the valley all catering to different economic backgrounds. I'm sticking with a sophisticated practice with moderate prices. PS. On a positive note, the gal who cleaned my teeth there did the best job I've ever had. Sorry I forgot her name, and it no longer matters. read more

I had a great overall experience at Studio B smiles. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the entire process. The receptionist provided information and told me her personal experience, the tech was gentle and fast, and Dr. Badolato had a great personality and made me feel very comfortable. They provided blankets and gave me a choice of movies to watch. I would recommend this great team of professionals to anyone looking to get dental work done. read more

Studio B should be called Studio R. R stands for ripoff. First I had to wait in waiting room for 30 minutes. Received a brutal harsh cleaning and checkup. The hygienist said I had five cavities. Six months later returned to my regular dentist and low and behold I have no cavities. This is an atrocious way of running a business. read more

I have been working with Dr. B for years. I had six veneers on the top and eight on the bottom done. The staff and Dr. B have been incredible all through my journey. I grew up with a badly chipped front tooth on the top and a medium sized space between my top front teeth. After consulting Dr. B, I used Invisalign for eight months and then started the process of remaking my smile. All of the self-consciousness was gone and I have never again had to worry about my smile. I finally had one I loved. I'm not a big "cosmetic fix" guy, but my smile had bothered me for so long. I'm so glad I made the decision I did. One thing I want you all to know: If I have an issue, ever, with one of my teeth, Dr. B is quick to address the issue and find the best resolution. If it is on a weekend, this man will see me and get my situation fixed. I was given his cell phone number from day one and the few times I have had to use it over the last ten plus years, he has always been there to take care of my issue. I would hightly recommend (and have) Studio B to my friends and the compliments I have gotten on my smile have been heartwarming. Go see this great group of people and you will find what I did; the best dentist and staff in town! read more

I was referred here by a friend and the customer service was amazing. Misti at the front helped me figure out if my insurance would cover my cleaning and treatment. She even called them and spoke with them directly for me. Cara and Ashley were so friendly and personable during the cleaning. Then Dr. B came in and I spoke with him about my cosmetic concerns. He created a game plan for me and answered all of my questions with confidence which was a relief because I feel like offices in the past just give you pricing and send you out the door. Can't wait to do my Invisalign and gingivectomy with Studio B. I highly recommend this office. read more

Dr. B and his team are awesome! Very welcoming, accommodating, caring and mindful of their patients challenges. Friendliest staff of any dentist I have ever been to and they make every visit easy. We need to include their super convenient downtown location as well! read more

I just had my first appointment at Studio B smiles and I must say I was very impressed. It's a beautiful office with very high tech equipment. The staff is extremely professional and organized and very kind. They treat all their patients like a VIP. My dental hygienist was Kristin. She was so sweet and caring about my comfort level. She's extremely smart and thorough. I was cold in the room and she provided me with a snuggie and addressed all of my concerns with my teeth. Dr. Badalato then examined my teeth promptly as my cleaning was finished. He then discussed my x-rays with me and came up with a treatment plan to correct a funky crown that I had got gotten at a different dentist in Scottsdale. I will definitely be back and I am proud to be a patient here and would recommend this dentist to anyone. On a side note, Dr. B also fixed my boyfriends teeth and he is quite the miracle worker. Very excited to have found this place and I know I'm in excellent hands should I ever require more work on my smile. read more

When I was younger, I was often complemented on my smile and beautiful teeth. As I got older, I noticed the complements became fewer and further between....and well, frankly, I missed that. Over the years my front teeth had become 'shorter' due to a nervous habit of grinding (stressful job), and stained from my unwavering love of red wine. So I decided to look into veneers. After much research and taking with friends/colleagues, one name kept coming up...Dr. B. So I contacted his office and scheduled a consultation. Long story short, I've had my beautiful smile back for eight years now and would do it again in a heartbeat. Dr. B is an artist and his staff is amazing; all very down-to-earth, friendly, and each at the top of their field in terms of skill. I loved my cosmetic dentistry experience with Dr. B and his staff so much that I became a permanent patient and trust them with all my dental needs. BTW, I'm in sales and would NEVER tolerate an atmosphere in which I felt I was being sold or up-sold; that simply does not happen here. Thanks Dr. B and staff, Cheers! read more

Because I always thought I was taking good care of my teeth, I also though I didn't need to go to a dentist. However, after visit here, I soon found out how much plaque and buildup I had on my teeth. The whole process was so painless from beginning to end. You hear all the horror stories and I certainly have heard a good share when it cones to deep cleaning. However, I was always at ease and never once felt uncomfortable. I can't say enough good things about this place. read more

Dr. B and his staff are wonderful!! Dr. B (Dentist) is certainly talented in his cosmetic work by providing both beautiful and quality dental care. Brittany (Office Manager) has always had exceptional patient care. She has been with Dr. B for many years and it is always nice to have a familiar and friendly voice when calling the office. Alayna (Receptionist) was a pleasure to work with when scheduling my appointment and working with the insurance to check benefits. Furthermore, she watched my infant daughter during my teeth cleaning--Thank you for such great hospitality!! Ana (Hygenist) was very thorough and educational in my teeth cleaning. She was attentive to my concerns and provided some good preventative tips. Overall, Smile B Studios has a splendid team and comes off as a happy and ethical place of business. I went into Dr. B's practice to get an estimate for an opinion about a major dental "event". I knew that this was the dental practice for me. Being a dental-phobe this is no small thing! My whole process was handled with consideration for me. The staff at Studio B Smiles is the best ever! Dr. B has great doctor/patient laid back but professional approach. I feel comfortable talking to him, which to me, is VERY important. So, good move on my part:)) I have recommended Studio B Smiles to friends and will continue to do so. read more

Dr. B & everyone who works in the office are great. I've been going to the Scottsdale office for a couple years now and it really changed the way I look at "going to the dentist". I couldn't be happier with my smile makeover from Dr. B! I was extremely nervous to change my teeth because I didn't want my veneers to look fake. My nerves were put at ease and felt like I was in the best hands with Dr. B and the entire staff. The staff was very friendly, patient, always answered all my questions, and worked with me to ensure my results would be natural and beautiful. Anyway I had always been self-conscious about my "old teeth" and never wanted to smile or wear lipstick. Now after my new set of veneers I have the confidence to smile and love wearing lipstick. I am always getting compliments on how white and straight my teeth are, and nobody thinks they are veneers! I would recommend Studio B to anyone wanting veneers or a great dentist for your routine dental care. read more

Not many things prompt me to hop on here and share my thoughts about a company or service. Dr. Murphy and the awesome staff at Studio B Smiles made such an impact that I felt it was almost a responsibility to tell people about it. The entire staff is so fun and friendly, and Dr. Murphy, in addition to being a comforting joy, did unbelievable work. I had some pretty serious work done, and the very next day I felt totally back to normal. It was almost literally unbelievable. I also had to make special arrangements for billing and they were more than accommodating and understanding. The whole experience was fantastic. If you need dental work done in the Scottsdale or Phoenix area, I cannot recommend Studio B more. Seriously. read more

As promised a quick update- I just got the final veneers on and I love them ! The first templates they made were better than the ones I was replacing but Dr B and his staff felt they could do better. And there was something I too wasn't "in love with". So they did new temps and I immediately liked those ones. Dr b and staff went through them with a fine toothpick making minor changes to report to the veneer place. We then went over colors. And Dr B gave me his suggestions for the characteristics on the teeth; which I felt totally confident that he knew best, so I went with his expertise and I am so happy with those results. While wearing the temps and waiting for the new ones, I sent a handful of emails to Brittainy who I love ! She never made me feel like I was "bothering" them, and with each of my questions or concerns they did their magic and I ended up with a better then expected smile! I completely recommend dr b and his staff. They have such a great process, you can tell they use an A rated veneer place, and they really know their stuff, I am so happy with the results! And you get more than you realize in the price. They provided me with everything I needed from start to end. It really is an all inclusive place ! read more

Dr. B and his entire staff are the absolute best! My smile had deteriorated badly as I aged. Dr. B restored the brilliant smile I had as a teenager with a full set of veneers. It transformed my face. I am thankful to my friend for recommending Studio B and I heartily recommend them to anyone looking for the very best in cosmetic dentistry and ongoing care. read more

Not recommended. The staff gal was friendly, informative- too much time with her-she was biding time...The dentist's consult was off track- he seemed irritated, not into it, spent ALOT of time focused on strange analogies - basically put downs! Terrible. I had three veneers put in--the front--and they are different color from my other teeth and he refused to fix them. I'm out thousands of dollars and he will not give me my money back. And no I didn't use my real name here, nor did I discuss my actual procedures. I don't trust this guy--at all. He's always agitated and quite frankly a bit scary. read more

I love Studio B Smiles! I have been a patient for over 5 years now, and I will never go anywhere else! I grew up with crooked teeth and was always very self conscious about my smile. I hated it so much, I literally avoided the dentist for 12 years. It was a scary step to go back, and the team and Dr. B made it painless and extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. I ended up getting adult braces, which amazingly only took 4 months! It was incredible. I then had four veneers put on my top and got my teeth whitened, and it has been a life changer! Since then, I have got married, and the pictures were phenomenal because I had a great smile. I also have been promoted at my job, largely in part because of my newfound confidence in myself. I would highly recommend Dr. B to anyone. He is awesome! read more

I followed Dr. Colleen Murphy to this practice and just met the staff for the first time this week for a routine teeth cleaning and general checkup. What a wonderful experience, if one could say going to the dentist is wonderful! Cara, the hygienist, was so thorough and took such great care to get me settled in with updated records...a delight! And, of course, Dr. Murphy is at the top of my "hit parade!" I'd follow her anywhere! Thanks, too, to the staff who were so very welcoming. read more
