Talented stylist!…read more I hadn't cut my hair in over a year so it was more than halfway down my back, and I haven't had highlights in 8 or 9 years and was desperately missing color. A coworker recommended this place based on Tik Tok and I checked out reviews before booking. I was there for about 4 hours including maybe 5-10 minutes waiting to get started and the wait to sit with the color before washing. There is parking in front and on the side of the building. When you enter, there are a couple of chairs, coat rack, and snacks while you wait. There are 5 or 6 salon chairs plus 2 for washing and I think there was something else in the back. Oh and the bathroom is nice too. The staff are friendly and everyone walked out of there with great hair. I was a little nervous at first because my stylist looks so young and I thought he might not be as experienced, but Dan is one of the top 2 stylists who have worked on my hair across 4 states. We talked through what I wanted with length, style, and color throughout the process. He did a rough cut dry first, worked on partial balyage caramel color, and then finished cut to frame my face. He and a woman washed my hair. Both were very gentle, which I appreciate. In the end, the length is just right, the color is gorgeous and even spread, and he curled my tips for a very pretty look. My only complaint is I didn't have anywhere to go afterwards to show off my hair, so I had to text everyone a picture :-) KUDOS TO DAN!!

She RUINED my hair by putting me under heat for an hour with bleach (which I…read morelater found out to be a stylist BIG No-No), overcharged, and was just so incredibly rude, almost like a bully in the way she talked to me. The first time I went to her, she called it a corrective process because she was fixing my hair, so about $280 + tip later, I was so much more blonde than the picture I had shown her and my bright blonde highlights didn't even start at the top of my head and were brassy. I went back for her to tone them down about 3 days later, booking it as a corrective color, and she said I had to pay $30 for the glaze and softening, because she could have done that the first time around if I had more time to stay past the 3 HOURS I was already there! I told her that I needed to go home and let my eyes adjust to the color before figuring out if I needed anything. I should 100% never have been charged that $30, but paid it to keep the peace. So for over a month and a half, I had hair that was still too blonde. When I booked my second appointment, I booked a root color and asked if Michelle could add a few lowlights to offset all the blonde, and she did, basically turning my hair now brown with only a hint of blonde showing. When I got home, all I could see was that my hair was brown and thought that I have now paid too much money to NOT get what I want for the second time! So I called back and asked if someone there, that didn't even have to be Michelle, could make my blond stand out more, and the girl at the front desk said Michelle would call me back. When she did, right away she was making excuses about how my hair is a work in progress and how now this is the second time I'm calling to correct her work, and I said to her that I just want brown hair with blonde highlights and that I'm paying too much money each time to not get what I want and not loving my hair! Then Michelle said ok, then why don't we do this - since you seem to have to come back every time, then I'll just reimburse you for your hair and you can find someone else to go to! When I said that sounds great, she said, "Ok I'll talk to my boss and we'll refund you!" And hung up on me! Fast forward to 6 months later and MY ENTIRE head of hair has broken off and is the most damaged it has ever been. I have never been put under heat for my blonde highlights, but Michelle did, and I was under heat for close to an hour. What I found out later by other stylists, was that should have NEVER happened. NEVER EVER should you put tons of bleach on someone's hair and then keep them under heat for any period of time, let alone an HOUR because she said the "blonde wasn't lifting!" She completely destroyed my hair. I always had fine hair, so there wasn't a need to ever put me under heat with bleach, and now it's so thin and broken, to where I'm actually embarrassed. I'm appalled at Michelle's lack of knowledge or professional care about my hair, and what she did to it, as a supposed "veteran" hair stylist.

Instead of showing understanding, I was questioned on the phone in a way that felt unnecessary and unprofessional. A little more courtesy and flexibility would go along way. That said, the hair stylist, Chloe, completely turned the experience around. She was absolutely wonderful--patient, kind, and very engaging with my 5-year-old during her appointment. This is very misleading. First - one $ to me means no more…read morethen $30 for wash and cut. Not! It is $70. Second - I have never went back and ask hairdresser to redo my hair. I noticed the next day that my hair still had so many split ends. It also did not blend well. Third - when I went back, I was told I did not know what split ends were and that my hair was blended perfectly. I will go back to places that cost no more then $20. They at least warn my how much they have to cut to get rid of all the split ends. Very disappointing. Misleading and not happy with my cut. I usually get a cut every 3 months but I know I will need one next month.

The end result--my hair turned out TERRIBLY. It is not ombre AT. ALL. Not only is it not ombre, but it looks like a really bad highlighting job. My hair is dark brown naturally, and I'm left with random, very blonde highlights that are chunky and that are only on SOME tips of my hair. The top is all my natural brown (as it should be) and the bottom is PLATINUM BLONDE with absolutely no in-between, no transitioning color, no gradual change.I even noticed that some locks of hair go from dark brown to blonde BACK TO dark brown at the end...just one middle chunk of hair on the strands were highlighted! I've been wearing my hair in a ponytail ever since!!! I'm looking at other places to get it redone now and it's going to cost me over $120. Very very disappointed, to say the least.
