We booked my daughter's appt online. We arrived on time and they took us back right away. The photographer was fast, but good. My daughter hates having her pictures taken so having a fast and friendly photographer was perfect. We viewed the proofs right away and had a tough time deciding which ones to buy. We opted for purchasing 3 digital files of 3 poses and saved 20% by purchasing at the time of the sitting. It was expensive ($180) but cheaper than the large packages. With the rights to the files and a signed release, we were able to print all the pics I needed at Costco for $13. Overall, our experience was easy and everyone was friendly and informative. read more

Overpriced. Captured the moment but didn't want to give a discounted price. Their system was down and website not working. I wish the school would choose another reliable company. read more

I was told over the phone that the Vista location would open today at 10. I have been sitting here since 9:40. No answer when I call. Does anyone know if indeed they are open on Saturday's? read more

So I go in today for my sons Senior yearbook picture. 5 pictures come out. Not one of them is decent. His eyes were closed in one of them- hello?! I canceled our follow up appointment for actual pictures for friends and family because if you can't get a decent yearbook photo out of 5 poses, what makes you think I'd come back to spend more money at your place? Thank you for accommodating our lateness due to traffic, but the quality of your work is subpar. read more

Update - my son graduated in 2015. I had to contact the company no less than three times to get his name off their 2016 graduation list - we received so many solicitations (mail and email) to get his 2016 HS graduation pictures taken - and every time I called, I was "assured" the mistake would be corrected, yet we continued to receive notices telling us time was running out to get his 2016 pictures taken, I'm sure an entire tree died in the course of all that unwarranted junk mail... Came for my son's Senior pics, was told to arrive early so we did, which utterly confused the kid checking people in on his iPad. They sent him home as they weren't busy (counting us, there were only three families there), and I think in his haste to get home, he forgot to tell anyone we were waiting. Our 20-min wait till our appointment became well over an hour, during which time several families came in and got serviced before us. When they -finally- called us back, the process was pleasant and my son really seemed to enjoy himself - the photographer was great! Unfortunately, the "waiting for proofs" experience was every bit as long and tedious as the first wait. What should've taken half an hour tops (based on the length of time some of the other families came and went, for the most part the place was gridlocked) became two hours of my life flushed down the toilet. At least the pictures were good, and we did get a 20% discount for purchasing our photo package the same day, but I don't know that it was worth it as a follow-up, the pictures came in three weeks, as promised, and turned out very nice. I still wouldn't recommend them, tho- it was the lab that did the processing, not customer service read more

What can I say?! You guys are the best!!! Thank you so much for doing a fantastic job on our Seth and Shae's headshots!!Thank you thank you thank you read more

These people rip you off. $52.00 + $15.00 sitting fee for 2-5x7's. Oh wait, they gave me a 10% discount but charged me $10.00 to ship it to me. The sales gal is so fake - she asks the same question to every person that walks in the door - "what are you excited about for Senior year?" You'd be better off getting the free day at school for the yearbook and hiring a professional photographer for shots that are just that - PROFESSIONAL. These people have not earned the title of professional. read more

The absolute worst customer service on the planet, not to mention that the pictures themselves are not great. I was forced to go here just to have my daughters senior portrait put in the yearbook. I choose a totally different studio for her actual senior portraits for her Senior announcements and pictures. No professional employees just a bunch of kids working there. SO EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I would not recommend this studio for anyone as you can see they have a low yelp rating, just an overall horrible experience. JUST HORRIBLE in every aspect. I spoke with a Sarah over the phone, they need to replace her by the way. read more

Excellent customer service from Ashley Matkins and crew! We were welcomed right when we walked in! They made it a very easy and smooth experience! After my sons photos were taken, Ashley walked me thru the buying process and never once felt pressured to buy anything! Overall great experience! Thank you Studio 94 read more

Studio 94 Photography - Proud mom of a TVHS 2016 Grad! Just hoping this year doesn't fly bye! - Session Photography Near Me - Temecula, California

After calling and leaving multiple messages to get an appointment someone finally got back to me. We went in for our session and they were having "technical difficulties". They assured me someone would contact me on Monday to reschedule. Never happened! So after calling multiple times again someone finally returned my call but could only book 3 weeks out which didn't work with my schedule. At this point we still haven't gotten in for senior pics! Terrible customer service! read more

My daughter had her senior photos taken yesterday at Studio 94 in Vista.I have been through this process before with other studios and was honestly dreading this process. We walked in a few minutes earlier than our scheduled appointment, anticipating some of the confusion I've dealt with in the past. Much to my surprise we were promptly greeted by Allie who was upbeat and very organized. She explained our options clearly and had knowledge about which backgrounds would look the best with my daughter's outfit. We were taken back to the studio on time and greeted by the photographer, Gio, who was fun, funny and very upbeat-which made the sitting more like a fun photo shoot for my daughter. The whole appointment was less than 30 minutes and the process was fun and most importantly my daughter LOVED her photos. They were all so good- we are having a hard time choosing our package!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STUDIO AND THIS DUO. Many thanks, Nicole Carlsbad ca. read more

Took my daughter here for her senior portraits. The photographer was very nice and made her really comfortable, resulting in beautiful pictures. We ordered photos that day and then more photos through the online store. The online ordering process was easy and shipping was super fast. read more

I took my college graduation photos with Studio 94 and my overall experience was great! Booking my appointment was easy and they allowed me to change my appointment easily. On the day of the shoot, the staff was beyond friendly and very patient with my indecisiveness (all of my pictures were fabulous). I received the digital files I purchased two days after my shoot. I am so pleased with their service that I will definitely recommend them to my friends. read more

My experience with Studio 94 was nothing short of wonderful. Both my boyfriend and I used them for our senior graduation photos (his were last year) and the service during both appointments was stellar. I was running a little late and the photographer didn't rush me at all and made me feel comfortable the whole time. They are great about getting your personality to show in the photos and letting you personalize the shoot as you choose. I would totally recommend Studio 94 for my friends and family in the area. They don't rush you into choosing your photo package and they don't try to talk you into something more expensive than you're comfortable with. Mine was shot on site at CSULB. read more

The photographer was good, he has clearly done senior photos a million times. The pictures turned out very well and the print quality was good. However, $350 for what was basically a handful of 8x10s and 5x7s and a bunch of wallets is very difficult to stomach. read more

My son had graduation pics taken on campus at Cal Poly and it turned out fine. Easy!

The studio was a little hard to find it was hidden in a corner very little advertisement I called to help me find location and no answer after 10 minutes of searching we finally found location the photo shoot went good it would have been a better experience if advertising was a little more visible . The gentleman greeting clients was very friendly read more

This has to be the worst run businesses. We have heard parents complain about this company and the owner. We were hesitant on proceeding with our shoot but decided to do so as we had no choice considering they are the schools chosen photographers. Sure enough During our time there we could hear a male voice from shouting at an employee. Very unprofessional and poor taste. Their pricing is insanely high, one 8x10 is $52 before shipping and tax. The photos are to be special and memorable, however we were rushed making it unpleasant for our seniors special moment. Will not be purchasing or do business with Studio 94 in the feature. read more

It's not surprising that their reviews are not good considering the horrible customer service I just got from the manager Kyle. They took photos for our school and when I got my kids photos back, I was appalled at the lack of photography skills and the fact that someone thought these were okay to send home to parents. Looking at mine, he didn't seem too concerned that they looked bad, which makes me believe that maybe he needs a new profession himself. He told me to come the next day for retakes to help the photographer understand what I'm talking about. Why should I, a non photographer, go help someone to figure out how to do their jobs? Shouldn't that be Kyle's job??? Over half of my daughters class are disgusted with the photos they received. I feel bad for all the kids that are going to be reminded of them looking through their yearbooks in the future. I do not recommend for personal photos if they can't take care of a school. I will be doing retakes, but sadly, will not be purchasing any of them. read more

They were in a hurry. They did not try to engage my son for his pictures, they did not ask him to smile. I think they just wanted to get the sitting over with. They were also very overpriced read more

AS HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS, my wife and I have done business with various companies in order to enrich the lives of our students. In this case, the student is our son. I signed up early to take advantage of the 20% discount offered to incoming seniors for their senior pictures and made an appointment for my son in their Temecula studio. The shoot occurred at 10 a.m., went very well, and my son chose the photo that will be in his school's yearbook (GOHS). My wife was not able to be present for the shoot, so I asked if I could take home the paper copies to have her select the pictures and package that she liked and still receive the discount. One saleswoman clearly informed me that it was not a problem as long as we called OR came back on that very same day before five o'clock in order to get the discount. I do not remember the name of the saleswoman, but my wife called the studio at 2 p.m., four hours after the shoot was conducted, and talked to a receptionist to purchase photos. She told my wife that the studio would not honor the discount; she stated that we had to choose the package and pay for it right after the shoot ended in order to receive the discount. My wife handed the phone to me, and the receptionist told me that they could not give me the 20% discount and that we had to have had chosen and paid before we left the studio. The receptionist put me on hold to talk to someone else in the office, and when she got back on the phone, she stated that the studio would honor the discount even though they "don't normally do it that way." Let's just say that I was and am still extremely upset. Communication is important for a business to run well, and because of the lack of communication that was clearly evident in our situation, we will not order our son's senior pictures from Studio 94. read more

This is the first time with this Studio newly chosen for Senior photo. I think the photographer only wanted the session finished quickly. The pictures are horible. The photographer did not engaged my son to smile. I saw the pictures for the first time tonight. I dont know why the school changed the studio and pick Studio 94. The previous studio where my other 2 kids pictures were taken is better. read more

We had a great experience here! There was no pressure, no rushing. I planned to only have my daughter get her yearbook photo done but they took some awesome shots, so I purchased a digital file. Love it! Thanks for making this one step in my senior's life stress free! read more

Customer service here (or at least through email) has been very good. My portrait layout came out the way I didn't expect and they were nice enough to accommodate my request to change the layout with different shots from the same sitting. They were patient and very easy to work with even with the delay in email responses from me. Four stars for the format of the layout (something they said they can't change), five stars for customer service. Thanks to Sarah for her patience and great c.s and the rest of the team. The photographer at the Fullerton studio was very nice as well. read more

Studio 94 is the worst!!!! Lies, lies, & more lies!!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are extremely expensive, yet their delivery service is the worst!!! I can't believe FUHS uses this company!! I'm disgusted!! I ordered my son's grad pics in early March and I waited for the pictures to arrive and they NEVER did!! I called and the girl told me, "I am going to deliver them today and you should receive them in 9 days." I waited 9 days and they DIDN'T arrive!! My husband called and spoke with 2 different customer service people and was told that the pics were on their way. My husband checked the tracking number and discovered that studio 94 printed the label, but the pics had not even been picked up by USPS or taken to the postal office as had been told. So, our sons pics were not even on their way to our home. SUCH LIARS!!! My husband called a 2nd time and again was PROMISED by the manager they should arrive the next day. The manager told my husband, "My employee Mattie just walked your pics to the post office." LIES, LIES, AND MORE LIES!! Again, the pics never arrived the next day! We are still waiting!! Our son will be graduating in 3 weeks and we STILL don't have our son's grad pics, nor his announcements! We are very angry and extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism by Studio 94!! If I had known this sooner, I would have NEVER contracted Studio 94!! I'm warning you, don't use studio 94. You will regret it! We are still waiting for our son's pics which should have arrived!!! read more

LIES, LIES, LIES!!! Photo appointment was ok, besides the long wait and overpriced photo packages. Only 1 person working besides the photographer. Layaway option was nice for the expensive picture packages but BEWARE once its paid off it will take over a month for you to get your package so plan ahead! I was told that as soon as it was paid off photos would be in the mail. Yet today I was told it takes 15 days. Why I wasn't told this before is beyond me. I have called for 2 weeks straight since paying off my layaway and each time have been told by a manager that my photos were in the mail, yet I still have not received them! Called again today only to be told by another manager that they are asking the lab to overnight them to me today...weird since 4 other people told me they were in the mail as of 2 weeks ago right? Very upset with the lies I've been told and now my sons grad announcements will be extremely late going out (3 weeks from busy graduation season and our guests still haven't recieced the announcements). Extremely disappointing! I highly recommended NOT using Studio 94 based on my experience. Hundreds of dollars later and I still haven't received our large photo package...only thing I've recieved from this company are lies from customer service and management! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT STUDIO 94, I assure you will regret it! read more

I had an on location graduation photoshoot on campus a few weeks ago. Everything went smoothly and the photographer was extremely nice. Terrible customer service! Thank god I do not need to deal with them any more. This is my last Senior. Talked to them and they were completely rude. They tried to tell me that I was being rude to them. What happened to the customer being right and customer service. There are so many great photographers in the area that you do not have to deal with this company except for yearbook photos. The local high schools really need to find a new photographer. Do yourself a favor and order your high school photos from another company. Don't give them any of your hard earned money. Also, make sure you do your own dance and prom pictures a head of time. Don't have your kids wait in long lines to take photos at the dance only to get them back and they are terrible. read more

Greedy business: I'm giving them one star because the photos taken were somewhat decent. Our school district choose them for yearbook pictures and unfortunately we had no choice. They are by far overpriced! $52 for 5x7 is ridiculous!! $30 sitting fee that does not go towards the actual photo package like most studios include. The packages do not include tax and they charge $10 "shipping" fee regardless if you want to pick up pictures or have them delivered. They act like they aren't greedy because they offer law away plans, but only for orders over $300. They have so many add on fees it actually ruined the whole senior picture experience and I feel badly for those who cannot afford very expensive pictures. I dislike companies that are greedy and take advantage of people and that is exactly what this company does. Very sad! I'm going to write to the school district and let them know who they hired. They need to find another company. read more

I had a wonderful experience taking my graduation pictures with Studio 94. I was running late to my appointment and was still provided immediate service upon my arrival. The 20 shots were well taken, but my parents wanted a specific pose and we requested if another picture could be taken. They were very friendly in accommodating my request and took 10 extra shots.
