After choosing what paint colors we wanted, we put on protective gear, picked out our high energy playlist, watched a safety video, and went into the black-light-illuminated room. We got a bunch of paint and fun things like paint filled ballons and paint guns to splatter. We had such a BLAST throwing paint on our canvases (and ourselves)! It was such a unique and creative experience and I highly recommend it. And if you're worried about getting your painting home in one piece, no need to worry because they provide painting sized boxes for easy transportation! Some tips from me to make your experience easier: 1) There are protective glasses and face shields available. I recommend wearing contacts and then going for the glasses. 2) There's protective cases for your phone so you can bring it in and not get paint all over it which I recommend doing! At some point I sent my phone down and just recorded us for 10+ minutes and it was so funny. 3) While do you have disposable protective gear on, be warned that any excessive amounts of paint will eventually seep though (I opted to wear just socks inside the suit and the bottom of my socks had paint all over them at the very end). I highly recommend wearing lots of black underneath your suit!

They offer candlemaking, clay sculpting, mosaics, glass painting and FREE popcorn. It is a really fun creative space. The staff is incredibly helpful with ideas and explanations. There are a million different things you can paint, decorate and create. They even offer mixed media classes on occassion. So far I have been three times and keep taking more people. I am getting addicted to being there. For heaven sakes they have a snack bar with keurig coffee, brownies, pop, water and whatever someone brought in for reasonable prices. Or they will let you bring in food. During our class one group brought in beer, so you better believe it gets festive. After having been partially destroyed by fire, vacated by a vagrant, and after sitting unloved and overgrown, the house has taken new life after being restored by the Winner family in the past 29 or so years. It really is magical inside and outside. I can see why people choose this as a wedding venue. I would love to come back and stay there and experience the spa. The guest rooms are pristine and the grounds are gorgeous.
