A little girl even came close to wash her hands and she was saying the f word while the little girl was right there and looking at us. She said the new owner was well, a bunch of nasty names. She said he never spoke to her unless he was yelling at her and had been embarrassing her. She was super slow, it took over 2 hours and she put in minimal effort. Nails were fine though. There aren't a lot of professional makeup artists in Charleston that show their portfolio so I was nervous on whom to choose. When I came across Rosemarie I was impressed that she had her own spa as a licensed esthetician and her portfolio pictures showed women with a "no makeup" classy look. I booked her to do my makeup on my wedding day and the day after since we were getting pictures on both days. She replicated the look on both days perfectly. The look she created for me was perfect and looked amazing in person and in pictures. I highly recommend her!

My last experience at this establishment was extremely negative and I was very unpleased with the…read moreresults. I came in for a gel manicure, and the lady who did my nails finished it all too fast and was very sloppy with her work. She immediately sat me down and started filing down my nail bed with the drill while I picked out what color I wanted. She did not trim or file my nail tips until after she had already put the gel color on. The gel that I got was dipping powder, and after every dip she did not clean the powder out from under my nails, so that got stuck and I had to pick that out after the manicure. She did not ask me what shape I wanted or how long or short I wanted my nails. And because she filed my nails after the color was already on it rubbed off part of the color on the side of my nails and left multiple hang nails. She also use the drill nail bit on my cuticles, which I believe you were never supposed to do. She made me bleed. Finally, when she put the clearcoat on my nails and had me sit under the UV light, she spilled a majority of the clearcoat onto my fingertips without wiping it off. this caused the clearcoat to dry for my nails to my fingertips, so I had to sit and pick that apart for 10 minutes. She also did not notify me when I was supposed to switch hands in the UV light, so she just moved the UV light and causing me to bump my hand into it. this is not the usual quality that I receive at St. Albans Nails and Spa. this used to be my favorite place to come and get my nails done just to treat myself, and unfortunately I will never be giving them my money again. I should not of paid $40 for the nails that I received, and needless to say my technician did not get a tip.

It was great to be able to work on my tan and then come back a few hours later and get my nails, facial, AND hair done for homecoming! The receptionist is really nice too. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to work on their tan, get their nails done, and hair, all in one place by a friendly staff for an affordable price. It's nice to know that you can still afford to be pampered and beautiful, even during a recession!
