I just returned from this salon after calling 1 hour before desperate for an appt. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, listened to what I needed and got me an appt. with Jamie. Jamie took the time to listen to my long story regarding my hair and her suggestions were exactly what I had hoped for. She gave me amazing color ...a color I've been trying to achieve for years! She also gave me a great haircut and her suggestion was again exactly what I was thinking of doing. I forgot the hair washer's name but she was kind and gave a mini head massage and comfortable wash. I just moved here from California and my friend recommended this place to me. WOW to say the least! All I had done was a wash, trim and blow dry treatment. The washing station was very fast although the guy was a little rough but it was not bad. My hair stylist name was Tori and she made my hair look amazing. She trimmed up my ends and made more layers to add texture to it. I will be going back to her in the future! I am almost certain that Tabatha would be very impressed with this place!!! read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've had high lights and two haircuts, each from separate people. My high lights were done about 3-4 years ago and they were so bright you could see blonde streaks through my hair when it was soaking wet. I only went back because it's close by. The hair cut done by Christina was done well, but she chop shopped my bangs. I tried Lydia on my second try who did exactly what I wanted. My bangs came out great. However, recently they have not been answering the phone or returned my voicemail to schedule an appointment. Guess I will be going somewhere else for my hair. Had a great experience this past week as a new customer at Studio 80. The place is very cool...spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated. They use fantastic products. They even have a "shop" dog that is so cute! Jamie was my stylist and she took extra care to walk me through the color process...showing me hair swatches, discussing realistic outcomes, care, etc. I wanted a deep burgundy and she delivered! The color application, wash, bang trim and blowout were all flawless, and I liked that she did the whole thing and I didn't have to work with two different people for cut and color. I'm upset. I made an appointment for a haircut. I arrived about 10 minutes early. I checked in with the receptionist, she said she would inform the hairdresser I was there. After waiting for over 40 minutes the receptionist comes back over to me and asks me if I had an appointment. I told her yes that it was a half hour prior. She said she was going to check. She comes back and said " I know you have been waiting a long time but would you be able to wait another 20 minutes. Apparently she took another customer ahead of me even though I had an appointment. Literally the best haircut I've had in a long time! Let me start with the staff. The entire staff starting from the front desk, to the girls washing hair, to the stylist. Every encounter today was pleasant, professional, welcoming, and friendly! I had gone in for a wash, cut & style. I came in not even really sure how I wanted to cut my hair. I brought some pictures of a long hairstyle, and then a really short hair style. My stylist helped me decide just what would look best on me (I love when the stylists are honest and not afraid to tell me if an idea I have wouldn't suit me! and they give me options that they think would look great!) Right? Because sometimes what looks good on others and in pictures, just isn't the right look for us. After all, they're the stylists so it's their job to kinda know what they are capable of pulling off on a client! Anyways, after confessing to her that I kinda really wanted to chop all my hair off she instantly knew just what to do with my hair. I left ecstatic of my new style and I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a fresh, new, beautiful haircut! A-freaking-plus! P.S. So upset. Went in to get my bangs trimmed and a touchup on the dye for my hair. Left with my bangs half-ass trimmed and not even. Only dyed the front layer of the tips of my hair with purple- and STILL had the nerve to charge me $130- for a touchup!!! This was only $20 cheaper than when I had gotten it originally dyed, and the color had not faded too much. I had to fix my bangs myself. And they left black dye on my forehead. Went back in and they acted like I was clueless. So disappointed. read more

I am 62 years old and have NEVER had a problem with my hair. I go to this so called establishment and Jeanine slapped bleach on my hair and made it all colors of orange. I have been distraught since the day it happened and was told to go home and wash my hair with Dawn dishwashing liquid and proceeded to sell me product to get rid of the brassiness.
