10/10 -- Absolutely Recommend Lion's Den Tattoo!…read more From the moment we walked in, the staff at Lion's Den Tattoo was professional, courteous, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. They actually got us in on the spot, which was amazing because we were definitely operating on last-minute tattoo energy! The vibe and aesthetic of this place are perfection. Everything feels welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. They were so accommodating with our last-minute plans and were able to work with two different people getting tattoos, which we really appreciated. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the experience. And can we talk about the waiting area?! Beyond comfortable. But the real MVP? THE A/C. Because when it's 102° outside, honey, we were absolutely NOT trying to spend one more second sweating for the day. The A/C was A/C-ing, and we were grateful. If you're looking for a tattoo shop with great people, a fantastic atmosphere, reasonable pricing, and an overall excellent experience, Lion's Den Tattoo is it. 10/10. Highly recommend!

I understand that everybodies anatomy is different and it could cause a slight tilt on the piercing but it's been weeks since I got the piercing and looking at it now with no more swelling or redness it is almost ridiculous how off the piercing is. It's very obvious and disappointing how crooked it is. I even went home to my home piercer and even he left a comment saying that it was done very poorly. Loved the service and friendliness but unfortunately Im going to take out the piecing let it heal and then get it redone somewhere else. I want to prefaced that I really hate leaving a bad review and I tried to convince myself that it was fine but honestly just the comments I get from my friends and even another piercer about how it looks just kind of made me feel like I needed to share my honest experience.

Reddit Tat2 is a family owned, soon to be, tattoo organizational chain (He's opening up a shop in Guam). While he's blasting in his side of the studio - his wife is doing her thing on the other side while their daughter runs around her, soon to be, tattoo kingdom. Dannie is hella good people, with sick ass skills. The minute you walk into his shop you feel very welcomed, AND at home. He immediately puts on some chill ass island music to ease your nerves before the blasting. You tell him what you want, he sketches it on the spot, on where you want it, and he does his magic. "Addicted" is a strong word, but one that I'm reminded of when frequently looking at Dannie's tattoo portfolio on either IG or FB. His tribal-art-inspired portraits and tropical designs are just magnetic and beautiful for its appreciation of simplicity. His use of color is just right, enough to give a pop to tribal tattoos. If you're ever in the area, want a bomb ass chronically acclaimed tattoo, from the islands (Micronesia, Polynesia, and/or Melanesia) or just simply have a deep appreciation for tribal tattoos - hit up Reddirt Tat2 for some clean ass lines! My whole family and I went in on New Years Eve and Leo, Kenny, and Dom hooked us all up with some amazing art work. The prices are great and the environment in the shop was cool and relax the guys are real down to earth. They took our ideas and made them better then we could of asked for. They aren't only tattoo artist but they actually do some awesome art work to. Their paintings and drawings are all over the shop. Leo did my tattoo, he did a great job on my shoulder piece. He made the colors just pop out. I get the most compliments on his piece then my other 5 tattoos. He took the 3 set colors i wanted and blended them so they flow together. He also was able to connect my to arm tattoos together just like i wanted. I've been to several different shops here in San Diego and Chula Vista, and Studio 767 is the only one I would recommend to my friends and other family members. When ever you get a chance walk in and talk to the guys and get some work done. read more

Visiting family in Chula Vista from Riverside, so my brother in law helped me find this place. We instantly liked Kenny because he was laid back and didn't try to pressure us. I liked that he wasn't too busy (it was a Wednesday afternoon) and calmy listened to what I wanted. He copied the picture of what I wanted out of a book, blew it up and before he even started he gave me a quote. He integrated the tat I got with my existing one and even added to it when it was done. He joked around and said sorry when it hurt! He's a great artisit with a great attitude, which goes a long way. Don't take my word for it: go check out his portfolio. You'll see what I mean. 100 miles away from where I live, but I'll definitely be back. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at this tattoo shop. The staff seemed disorganized and rushed through the consultation. The artist didn't follow the design I approved and the final result looks sloppy and uneven. Hygiene also seemed questionable, which made me uncomfortable. I tried to express my concerns, but they were dismissive and unprofessional. Now I'm stuck with a tattoo I regret. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for quality or care.
