First time I went to the shop I was just going to get general information and soon after I was able to make a flexible appointment with Sag. The appointment process was super easy and accommodating for both the separate tattoo sessions I had. Sag is The Man when it comes to line work, I wouldn't trust anyone else to tattoo me besides him. I got my first professionally done tattoo with him and the experience was very enjoyable considering that he always asked if I was okay with the pain and when I needed breaks. He's super fast and detail oriented, which was nice, and both of my tattoos healed up beautifully. I also really enjoyed the attitude of the other artists while everyone is working, they stay professional but also make you feel like you're just with friends. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get some work done!

I wanted to resume work on my leg and I decided what better way than to get a piece dedicated to the late rapper Nipsey Hussle. After searching for months I was referred to a tattoo artist by the name of "Buttah" by several people on facebook. I showed him what I wanted done including some alterations to make the piece unique to me. Buttah showed me what he came up with and I was impressed. I showed up to my appointment and walked out of the shop 3 hours later with a killer piece. I'm definitely looking forward to getting some more pieced done by Buttah. Would definitely recommend him. As far as the shop is concerned, it is a relatively small shop. Location: 767 studio is located in a strip mall-esque front, meaning it share parking lot with several other businesses. I've had no issue when finding a parking space the two times that I went. The strip mall is kind of small as a whole so it's quite easy to miss. Disclaimer: When pictured my tattoo was covered by a protective film and was quite red due to the shading. I will post another photo once fully healed. read more

I got this tattoo in March and I am not happy with the shading and outline of my tattoo. The outline is not straight first of all and the the shading is extremely horrible. I got a previous tattoo done here and it came out beautiful, so I am extremely disappointed onhow this particular piece came out. I will never spend my money here again!! I will now have to go elsewhere to get my tattoo fixed. read more

I actually got my first tattoo here back when Checho was working their which was about 3 or 4 years ago.Sucks to see hes not their anymore, because his art was just amazing, one of the best artists ive seen so far to date, and really chill and laid back dude. I also got my second tattoo here by Leo, gotta say he is also a really amazing artist. Heck all the artist at this studio are amazing. The tattoo i got was one I drew up and he made it better and it turned out awesome. Loved the colors he did and even some detail he added which was just a spider web, but it was awesome. Wish i had more cash because this is officially gonna be my tat spot when ever i want something done. Artists- Amazing 5/5 Cleanliness- 5/5 very clean Service-5/5 very professional and polite There is just 2 things i didnt like..... 1 being checho left, but its all good because leo is an amazing artist, and 2 the tattoo I drew and got done, well I was told by my friend that last time he went he saw it, I guess they put it in a portfolio for people to see, just didnt like that because yeah i know its so people can see his ability, but it sucks because I hope no one gets the exact same thing or super similar. If I could I would give this place no stars! Save your time & money ! Went in for two simple tattoo by Tanya and she fucked it up ..she also can't spell & her line work sucks the owner (LEO) is ok ..my sister got work done by Kenny just some simple lettering and she was happy .over all if you want a nice tattoo they aren't cheap so go to a place were the work is great ! They do ok but other places do better read more

I feel like I keep reposting the same review and it somehow keeps getting deleted. Unprofessional, rude and shitty work. My friend came in with a referral from someone else to get tattooed by Kenny. First of all, he didn't even check for an ID....ok.... And what my friend wanted was pretty simple and small. But somehow it came out all distorted an crooked. We tried to giving him the benefit of the doubt and let it heal And when we came back to show him he said there was nothing he could do now. WTF Leo, the owner I presume.... Asked to look at it. I thought wow that's nice that the manager cared, he said he didn't see anything wrong with it. OKAY?! Are you kidding me ? Luckily I took my friend to a real profession who just by glance knew it was messed up and YES he was able to do something an actually charged decent for the mess he has to clean up. read more

After being referred to Studio 767 by a co worker, I meticulously went through all the pictures on Facebook, Yelp & Instagram, & decided Tanya was THE tattoo artist to work with. I loved her designs, creativity & beautiful work. SO with that being said, major love & props goes out to Tanya for the tattoos she did on me last night! She incorporated everything I wanted, & had awesome suggestions of her own. Not only is she a great tattoo artist, but an awesome person as well, which is definitely an important factor when you're in such close proximity to someone for the given length of time as you're getting tattooed. I couldn't have picked a better place to get my first tattoo. Tanya is an amazing artist and her passion shows in her work. She listened to what I wanted and gave me something even better than I had imagined myself. Also being my first tattoo, I was a bit nervous about the pain, but there was little to no pain at all! I looked on yelp to see what was a good shop to get tattooed. Friends have reccomended Tanya to me and I wanted to check out on yelp reviews as well to do my research. I messaged them on face book asking for her and they said she was "on vacation ". And even offered to get tattooed by someone else. I looked up her Instagram stating that SHE MOVED to north park tattoo parlour. I was really dissapointed with how this shop told me to go to someone else when she moved and couldn't have told me that in the first place. I'm glad I did my research and didn't just go to the other person. A lot of these great reviews on this page is Tanya and Kenny's which they both moved to north park tattoo parlour , ten to fifteen minute drive from chula vista. Definitely worth it. read more

I started with what I thought were some pretty complicated sketches and Leo worked with me and helped to put together something seriously intense. Cool spot where the owner Mike also features his other business the Good Company Golf Club (will have to check out their sim another time). My whole family and I went in on New Years Eve and Leo, Kenny, and Dom hooked us all up with some amazing art work. The prices are great and the environment in the shop was cool and relax the guys are real down to earth. They took our ideas and made them better then we could of asked for. They aren't only tattoo artist but they actually do some awesome art work to. Their paintings and drawings are all over the shop. Leo did my tattoo, he did a great job on my shoulder piece. He made the colors just pop out. I get the most compliments on his piece then my other 5 tattoos. He took the 3 set colors i wanted and blended them so they flow together. He also was able to connect my to arm tattoos together just like i wanted. I've been to several different shops here in San Diego and Chula Vista, and Studio 767 is the only one I would recommend to my friends and other family members. When ever you get a chance walk in and talk to the guys and get some work done. read more

This was my first time going to this tattoo place, i would usually go to Lefty's tattoo shop but it was a bit pricey so i started to look around and i found this place close by where i live and i read the reviews here on yelp and they were really good so i decided to give it a look and let me tell you it was super great! the tattoo artist "Buddha" is the best! he did two pieces for me and they come out to freaking nice! they had music in the background to get you nice and relaxed and into the mood, i was greeted when i walked in, place is super clean and so are they with their equipment and the people there are so friendly! i highly recommend this place i got both of my tattoos for $120 and i was more that satisfied with the results! read more

Visiting family in Chula Vista from Riverside, so my brother in law helped me find this place. We instantly liked Kenny because he was laid back and didn't try to pressure us. I liked that he wasn't too busy (it was a Wednesday afternoon) and calmy listened to what I wanted. He copied the picture of what I wanted out of a book, blew it up and before he even started he gave me a quote. He integrated the tat I got with my existing one and even added to it when it was done. He joked around and said sorry when it hurt! He's a great artisit with a great attitude, which goes a long way. Don't take my word for it: go check out his portfolio. I had a really disappointing experience at this tattoo shop. The staff seemed disorganized and rushed through the consultation. The artist didn't follow the design I approved and the final result looks sloppy and uneven. Hygiene also seemed questionable, which made me uncomfortable. I tried to express my concerns, but they were dismissive and unprofessional. Now I'm stuck with a tattoo I regret. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for quality or care. I saw Saira for 2 tattoos yesterday. She was awesome! She sketched the tattoo I wanted on my shoulder and chest. We talked and laughed and I felt really comfortable being there, she has really light touch and it was easy to have my work done. She made my work beautiful. That guy Leo I believe is his name, the one with long dreadlocks does horrible work if you want a shitty tattoo go to this place A friend of mine went in and got a tattoo done and her tattoo came out terrible And on top of that he was being really perverted. He also tattoos with a dog in the same room as you, an ugly pug dog. Super unsanitary and illegal. read more
