The "Why": We flew in from our hometown of Miami to Jersey, always a shock haha. We are Here just for our son's engagement party through Columbus Day weekend. Nothing is walkable nearby. Amenities: Room has a nicely set up kitchenette with bar seating. Free coffee & tea always available in the lobby, with comfy seating. Breakfast is included, but it's totally no frills. There's an indoor pool and a grille plus picnic/sitting area outside of the pool. That's a nice plus if you are so inclined. There's also a gym, so all the comforts of home. If you want luxury experience, then a hard NO! However, if you just need a comfy place to stay at a good price, this is just fine. I'd definitely stay here again if need be, mostly for location & price. Thanks for following me, happy yelping in 2026! ~Tami in Miami

Delilah was extra helpful and friendly with check in. It all went smoothly. In fact, smooth is a good word for this hotel. With so much preparation and worry about my speeches, I didn't want to worry about little things. I got my room, turned down housekeeping, had the wonderful breakfast (yeah, waffles!) and got my easy pickups with Lyft. I needed a gift for the mayor, so Delilah told me about the shopping area, and Shoprite had a fancy cookie platter. Done. She also suggested a popular sushi buffet nearby called Umi. There was no time for that, but next time for sure. All this went like clockwork. It was my speeches that were the focus, but, you know, when you feel cared for and safe at a hotel, you can tend to your work. That's what Delilah and her staff did for me. Comfort Suites will be my default hotel from now on. Maybe the mayors will invite me back, and then I'll know where to stay.

Stay: May 2025 - 2 nights…read more I recently stayed at the Hilton East Brunswick for two nights while in town for work. The best part? It's conveniently close to the office building I needed to visit. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights end. The hotel feels pretty dated and could definitely use a facelift. The rooms are spacious, which is nice, but there were some noticeable issues with cleanliness -- like dusty tables and missed spots in the corners. It wasn't a terrible stay, but it definitely not the best either.

Keep looking. This hotel is not worth your time, energy, or hard-earned money…read more For a property carrying the Hilton name, this was a serious disappointment. The worn front entrance and poorly maintained parking area set the tone before I even checked in. I hoped those issues were just cosmetic, but the condition carried through to the rest of the hotel. My room smelled damp, the hallways were cold, and the rooms and décor felt badly dated. Throughout the property, it was hard to see evidence of meaningful upkeep or recent improvements. Service was slow and unprofessional during my stay, especially in the restaurant. Combined with the condition of the hotel, it fell well below what I expect from Hilton. If my coworkers weren't also staying here, I would have moved to another hotel. This property needs serious attention to both maintenance and service. Until that happens, spend your money somewhere else.

We were present on the third day of their celebration. The bride looked absolutely gorgeous! She was dressed dripping with jewels. I love the lavish jewelry, intricate bead work and embroidery that adorns her sari and veil. The opening of the ceremony consist of prayers, singing, and formal portraits taken with the bride & groom at the center stage. An open buffet of appetizers- tandoori wings, chutney and dressings, chickpeas salad and paan (Indian bread) was served along with coffee and tea. For dessert, sweet potato Indian pudding and strawberry icecream with fruit seeds. The waitstaff immediately cleared dishes and utensils off the table. Clean napkins were distributed frequently.
