Morgan just opened her salon in Trussville right behind Edgars off of Highway 11 in mid 2020. Since opening she's grown as a solo salon to adding two more fabulous ladies to her team (who are as equally talented)! The salon is located near the historic Trussville downtown area in office park's white building. Parking is free and it's super convenient.... especially when it's raining! Morgan originated her practice at Wheelhouse and after a few years she decided to be closer to home with her family. She boasts an amazing talent and is constantly learning new techniques to apply to her clients. My wife asked for recommendations from friends and coworkers and got this place. Honestly I never noticed it! The people here are so damn friendly! There is such a "neighborhood" feel to the place like in the old days. Everyone seems to know everyone They play classic rock instead of elevator music, I particularly enjoyed it while waiting. They also have a couch for the guys to sit on till their wives finish. I'm pretty sure they cut mens hair too though, but I didn't need a cut today. The prices seem pretty competitive. I'm not very knowledgable on salon prices, but my wife was impressed. If you are looking for a hair or nail salon in the Trussville area, don't drive past this place without checking it out. As I walk in the door I was greeted and asked what I was in for I told her a Hair cut and was asked to sit down and someone would be with me shortly . While waiting ( waited about 3 min ) my toddler found some toys and started playing so I was happy because that keep him entertained while mommy was getting a hair cut. Everyone was super friendly one lady even bought my son some chips from the vending machine ( she asked me first if it was ok ). The quickest I've ever spent inside is an hour and a half, other than that I've spent upwards of 2 hours. They do a good job, the last time I went my nails turned out amazing! But the first time I went, when a man did them they weren't so great. The gel polish was coming off within days which I've never had happen. Besides the long wait, it's a good place, just go when you have time to spare and try to get done by a woman and not the man at the every end of the store!
