Vivie took the time to educate me about her products, and how she keeps her clients safe. I SO greatly appreciate her. I was a longtime client of another nail salon, and very recently with them, I was getting fungus on my nails with manicures and pedicures. I needed a new place to come once I healed up from the infections. I have never had that issue before. I did my search for a while, and Valley Nails kept popping up. I am SO glad I go to Vivie. Please note that she is available by appointment only, and cash only. She is a 1 woman show and amazing Rockstar. Please give her your time. I look forward to continue giving my money to local business owners like Vivie. Support local!!!!

My friend and I arrived and were excited- but the salon is dark and immediately we were separated into chairs were we could not see each other or talk. No offer of magazines- I don't believe there was music either. The stylists were very polite and very responsive via email in the scheduling. But again typically pay $40 - $50 for a blow out and it's worth it - the cost of a blow out at this salon does not mirror the experience or service you should receive.

There was no one at reception to check in so I stood in the foyer for a minute or so. One technician ( giving a pedicure) saw me but did not greet me. I decided to step into the restroom and when I came back into the foyer- still no acknowledgment that a new client had arrived. I finally addressed the young lady giving the pedi to ask " is there someone I should check in with?" 2 more staff members came out of the office into the foyer- still no greeting or even eye contact. ( Way to make someone feel welcome...not) The young lady giving the facial was ok. I tried to ask " what are you applying now?" a few times but got very short responses. Lastly- paid for 80 minute treatment but only got 70 minutes... if this was the only issue I would not gave said anything, but when combined with the rest of the average customer service, I was disappointed overall.

Allure is actually attractive, convenient in the SYValley, you just have to make your way through lots of strange heads full of tin foil and ignore the stares. This is NOT a guy's world. That said, I go for one reason, and one reason only, JANET VILLA, a smart, talented, calm and kind young mom who does make me feel welcomed and comfortable and cuts a mean head 'o hairs. I've been going for about a year or so and have recommended about a dozen friends, men and women and have not had a single person do anything but rave. And, she is reasonable. A friend who just moved to the area from Beverly Hills (yes, I know), who was used to paying up to $200bux for a cut, is now paying $35.00 for "just as good a cut". In general, all her prices are fair. JV is also a WIZ as weddings and special parties, regularly going hair and makeup with a team. I know I would recommend her for her truly calm demeanor.
