She got wonderful reviews and after looking at the beautiful hair in her photos, both on Yelp and Instagram, decided to book an appointment! I couldn't be happier that I did! At the beginning of the appointment, we talked about what I was interested in doing and I showed her photos of the look I was going for. She took the time to explain what her plan was step-by-step and even mentioned what she thought the final cost would be. I appreciated this SO MUCH! So many times stylists are mum about the price and then you're shocked when you get the bill at the register and it's much higher than you anticipated. Lauren took her time with my hair and I have the results to prove it! My hair came out beautifully- she knows what she's doing. I can't wait to go back! If you're interested in balayage, especially blonde balayage, you have to book with Lauren!!

In response, the owner brought up that I had scheduled and canceled multiple appointments in the past, which is true--but those were made under my account and have nothing to do with my wife's separate appointment under her own account. The two situations are not related, and shifting the focus to my history avoids addressing the actual issue. Looking through other reviews, I've noticed a pattern where negative feedback is either ignored or met with responses that place blame on the customer rather than taking accountability. That's disappointing to see, especially when communication is such a basic expectation for any service.
