I read reviews that others thought the beds were hard...I'd say they were more firm than "hard" and I didn't mind at all. Upon check in the gal at the front desk was super nice. Our room was ready when we arrived at 2PM. This is a "no frills" hotel hence the price, however there still was a bottle of shampoo/conditioner complimentary as well as a couple of drinking cups and hand soap. The TV worked just fine as did the internet. The bonus of this "no frills" motel is a complimentary breakfast including biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, toast, cereals, pastries along with coffee, juice and mild. Very nice. Had no problems with noise or other guests. Cute garden on the side of the building growing all kinds of veggies. Needed an extra shower towel as mine had fell on the floor overnight so went to the desk and was immediately given another. Highly recommend if you're just looking for a place to rest your head!

The place has 2 adjoining rooms that can be sectioned off, and the large room we were in has an upstairs that wraps around--so fun for weddings and other receptions! I didn't eat but a few in my group got their sandwich specials of the night and really liked them. I also got to interact with one of the owners who is very nice and clearly well liked in the community. Overall a great experience with a family owned business. I would love to come back here!

I have attended a dinner event in the venue side which was gorgeous and very spacious! The restaurant is a good size, and has a beautiful bar in the center. Large booths on the perimeter and probably about 20-30 tables total. This meal was delicious, and not as pricey as I expected. I got a seasonal salad and added steak on the side, which came out in steak bites. These were a little overcooked (I asked for med rare, closer to med well), but tasted delicious! It must have been their wet aging process since this was some of the most flavorful steak I've had! The salad was good as well, and the dressing had a great sweet flavor which I love. Plenty of toppings as well--they were very generous with the goat cheese, craisins, and spiced nuts! My husband had the cowboy sandwich and loved it. The fries were good, and the sandwich had a ton of great flavor--again, starting with the meat! Our Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious as well. Cooked perfectly, and plenty of delicious flavor from the balsamic reduction. We had great service, and did not have to wait at all. We came in on a Wednesday night and there were plenty of tables available. I'm so thankful a spot like this opened up in town! This will definitely be a go to for me going forward!
