10/10 experience that should become a regular part of your self-care routine!…read more I cannot say enough about Collective Hue and the luxurious head spa experience (my only regret was that I only booked 60-minute session not 90!). Excellent communication and ease booking appointments for my grown daughter and me. It was our first time there--very clean and friendly. Michele and Vesna were our technicians who first completed a hair analysis with a high tech microscope view of follicle and scalp health and needs. From the moment you walk in the quiet treatment room you are transported to peace and relaxation. Three curtained off head spa stations allow you to grab your mom, daughter, bestie or bridesmaids to indulge in hair care together (this was the only place in town where we could go at the same time). In the treatment lounges you are wrapped in a weighted blanket where you will feel relaxed and cozy while your hair and scalp are scrubbed, sprinkled, and brushed into docile submission. Included is a lovely hand, arm, shoulder and neck massage with a body scrub that left me soft and deeply moisturized. The halo of water will melt your tension away (and not a drop on the face!) and after all of the head massage I felt very zen! At the end we popped back under the microscope to do an "after" view of scalp health, then some red light therapy, scalp massage, scalp oil and a blow dry. I cannot believe how soft my hair feels! This is truly something we will add into our regular wellness and self care routine, and so should you! I would put it right up there with monthly massage clubs. Owner Shishi is such a blessing. Very professional, courteous and kind attending to all of our needs. You absolutely must go and breathe new life into your tresses!

The bed you lay in is very comfy, and the bowl your hair is being washed in has an awesome water sprayer that hits your head just right. On top of the head and neck massages she gave an incredible arm and hand massage that was a wonderful surprise. I mean it when I say she was working magic, because I almost had to lift my eye cover to see how it felt like she was using three hands to do the massage. Before and after your treatment they show you your scalp magnified, and seeing the improvement was surprisingly interesting. My wife and I loved it, and would love to come back for another. Next time we'll probably add on the facial, because it feels like that would round out the whole experience nicely. If you do choose to come in for this be prepared for the wave of sadness you'll feel once you know it's coming to an end.

She really got to know me how i like my hair and what I wanted out of my hair. I told he to cut a centimeter off the bottom an inch off everywhere else and two inches off the bangs. And that is exactly what she did. I have very difficult hair to work with. My hair does not take well to natural oils. They do the exact opposite of what they should do to my hair. It becomes frizzy and dry. I have curly thick hair. My curly change everyday depending on the cut and how I style my hair that day. So my hair can be very confusing at times. Most salons just chop off my hair and cut it like I'm some type of poodle that won't notice if the mess up my hair. And beleive me I will notice. I was very scared to go to a new salon for the first time but I am very happy I did. She cut all the weight out the bottom back without removing alot of length and threugh layers in my bangs for movement. My hair is perfect and light and flowy now. Before it was awful I could work with it but I would make me over heat and the top of my head would become matted very easily. My bangs would fuse with my mid layerd everyone assumes I was African american. That is fine. But I am not. I am a latina with very different hair. And now I feel like I have beautiful care free curly hair . its pretty amazing.

She reported my google review 1 Star, which I had left empty. I didn't go Into the nitty gritty of how things went down because it was a very unique situation that hurt me to the point of being done. I had seen her from the time she had a booth at Francisco's Salon and followed her to her opening her own salon. I am sure maybe things have changed but I will just never find out but maybe not as "I don't have record of ever seeing you in my database" go back to 2015 and my maiden name and you'll see I was a loyal and happy customer. I do not discredit her for her great colorist skills (I haven't been able to find anyone else with her talent, that's where the 3 stars will come from) but what she excelled in her skills (IMO) she lacks in professionalism in owning her mistakes and correcting them or trying to make it right. Instead she blames the customer. It'd be awesome If she could accept she has/had a weaknesses and taking ownership in those mistakes.
