They bring a couple of boards with the menu and help you through it. Everything is made very fresh to order so it takes awhile but oh so worth it. They were so kind as to give us complimentary appetizers and even coffees! Loved them so much, we went back the next night!

At first I glanced at the large sign outside and walked a few steps, only to return to give the menu a second read. There were a variety of Italian dishes listed, mostly pastas and pizzas, but I was cold, hungry, and tired, so I stopped into this place where I was warmly greeted. There was only one more table at 8:30pm, but I sat myself down and ordered the truffle gnocchi. The food took a while to come out, which I thought was strange considering I was the only one in the restaurant now that the couple before me had left. While I waited, they gave me a table water along with some bread (focaccia with cheese & an olive spread, it tasted like). The bread was delicious and crispy, toasted to perfection. The gnocchi came out about 15 minutes after I sat, and although it looked small at first, I struggled towards the end to finish it. The sauce wasn't as... truffley? as I would have liked, and I ended up having to add salt to it (I KNOW THIS IS VERY RUDE IN EUROPE but I swear it was under-seasoned). The gnocchi was prepared well in the sense that it wasn't rubbery or chewy like one's I've had back in the US, but they ran rather large, making it hard to enjoy the (under seasoned) cream. My gnocchi was 15 euros which was a little more than I would have liked to pay, but the workers were extremely friendly despite the language barrier, and as I was there for about an hour (escaping the cold and using their free wifi to track my bus), I saw that it seemed to get busier with regulars.

Open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs happily cooking or cooking all stressed out lol. Our server was Izaya very friendly, well spoken and caring. He ensured our allergies were taken care of. He was fast with his service and continuously checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Now food, mama Margherita pizza was freshly made so you have to really wait it out before taking a bite to ensure you don't burn your mouth. Pizza was evenly baked and crust was even yummy. Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. We ordered a small salad which was a generous portion for all of us. Good variety of wine list and very reasonably priced. Tiramisu was one of the dessert options and every bite met all our expectations. Overall great experience here they do squeeze a lot of people in there so you could be elbowing your neighbor on another table.

Both were a bit bland and could've used more seasonings. The drinks were delicious and tiramisu was the star of the show for sure! Definitely any of the big mamma restaurants are mostly for tourists and wouldn't try the others.

They have a large selection of Neapolitan pizzas, both red and white, and calzones, cooked in their beautiful pizza oven. I had the small truffle burrata as an appetizer, it was fantastic! Served on a bed of aragula, the burrata was fresh with a delicate hint of truffle and topped with basil. I was indecisive about which pizza to chose and their Quattro stacchia option, which is divided I quarters with 4 different topping combinations, was the perfect choice. It did not disappoint. All 4 were great, made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The dough was perfect, light with a crusty outer ring with just the right amount of charred spots. The pizza is a very generous size, so I did not much have room left for desert. The pistachio tiramisu looked great and the portion was huge. I went for an affogato caffé. It was the best I've ever had. The ice cream was rich and tasty, slowly melting in the hot espresso with a hint of amaretto. The black chocolate chunks provided a nice crunchy texture variation. The restaurant has a beautiful, large terrace and a few tables inside. It is on a street corner with the terrace on a pedestrian street, which is nice. It was busy on a Wednesday night at dinner time. with a mixture of locals and travellers. Most of the staff were Italians, adding to the authenticity. Many locals were coming to pick up their take away orders. Food was delivered quickly after ordering, but there was a bit of wait for staff to come take orders. If I lived in this area, I would be a regular.

Shots of lemon cello to finish off the meal. Pleased with the service. Update: reduced to 4 stars. Adult son threw up sick 3 hours later (calzone). Not sure of the cause. Might have been this meal.
