We hired SSS Plastering to fix a leak in our exterior wall caused by some very shoddy workmanship by previous owners. Salvador came out promptly, gave us a reasonable quote, and even provided lineouts for additional vents that needed replacement. They worked fast, cleaned everything up afterwards, and matched the stucco texture extremely well to our existing walls. The only thing they didn't do was repaint, but for our job it's an easy fix. Can definitely recommend Salvador and his team! read more

While we didn't end up getting stucco work done, I had to write a review for Salvador - we got a few competing quotes for stucco refinish & also weed screed (not sure if I spelled it correctly) as we had some moisture concerns. Salvador was one of the few that responded promptly and came by for an estimate. He was professional, on time & his prices were very fair - there was no BS. Based off other Yelp reviews too, I knew he probably would do a great job. While we ultimately went with a close trusted referral who gave us a better price - we 100% would've went with Salvador and his team had we not had the other option. And just for comparison & speaking from personal experience - If a contractor is sitting you down and giving you a few hours "consultation" to try to convince you to choose them & pulling out all the sales tactics in the books (""discount"" if you book today) - RUN - they will most likely charge you 2x!!! the normal price. We didn't have a lot of experience choosing contractors so we were almost convinced due to the urgency, but we decided to be smart & get our own quotes and then found Salvador who gave us a reality check of how we were almost swindled! So word to the wise, always get at least 3 quotes :) but I have a feeling Salvador will be the best option based off our experience with him. read more

Salvador came to provide a quote, and did everything in the scope of work. He was clean (tarped the work area, cleaned up and swept afterwards) and communicated very well (texted if he was running 30 in late for example). His work was very goood - did a great job and we haven't had any issues 6 months later. Overall, highly recommended! read more

Salvador was great. I had him repair stucco on my 100 year old house after some renovations. Not an easy job to make look good. Result was fantastic. Salvador and his team are punctual, helpful, and responsible. Stucco Solutions help installed weepscreed and replaced the stucco on two of my outer walls because of water damage on a home that I purchased. The stucco result looks good. They even helped me with a couple of small tasks on the side. This price was very good and the team very pleasant to work with. They were very accommodating. read more

I am writing a review to recommend Stucco Solutions Specialists (SSS) for your next project. I got quotes from different contractors and found SSS to be very competitive. What made me choose them was the prompt communication and follow through with my questions, and the honest evaluation of what my property needed. One thing that can happen is someone gives a very competitive quote to retain the job, then once in process, finds every way to increase the price as the job moves along. Salvador was upfront in discussing the challenges and allowed us to manage our tenant's expectations for the time and potential inconvenience. Once the job started it was apparent that SSS takes pride in doing quality work. I had not worked with SSS before so I felt like there was some risk choosing them, but after the work started I was assured that quality was their primary goal and their reputation was important to them, not just getting the job done. A stucco job can get dirty but they were diligent in keeping the property clean. Never a complaint. I highly recommend Salvador and Stucco Solutions Specialist and have already recommended them to my sister. I am attaching before and after pictures because they speak to the quality of their work. It was the right decision to choose SSS and I am very happy with the results. You should give them a call, get a quote, and you will see why I am so pleased. read more

I had met Salvador during the course of trying to repair the exterior of my house. But because I have mixed wood siding and stucco, and Stucco Solutions Specialists only do stucco, I didn't go with Stucco Solutions. However, I had a last minute idea to replace my foundation vents before my paint job. Salvador gave me an estimate based on the number of vents I had and photos I sent him. The next day, Salvador showed up at 8am as promised with his crew of 4 men. I went over the details of what we were going to do (I wanted louvered vents to replace my old mesh wire vents for better water proofing and pest proofing; I wanted to make sure they were going to redo the water barrier before rewiring and restuccoing, etc). After confirming the details with Salvador, I actually offered to pay him more, as I thought it was quite a bit of work (I had 18 vents in total), but Salvador actually was good on our initial estimate. Checked in about 2-3 hours later and all the old vents were out, the rough openings cleared, half of the new vents were in, and a third of the new vents had water vapor barrier and wires in place already. Everything looked great. When I checked in again towards the end, Salvador was actually placing the stucco himself around the last remaining vents. I was impressed because most business owners don't show up for these projects (especially mine was kinda small), much less get their hands dirty. So fortunate to have crossed paths with this company. They did a quality job at a highly competitive (in my humble opinion, unbeatable) price. Thank you! read more

Bottom line: If you need stucco work, call Salvador at SSS Plastering. Outstanding work, fair pricing, good people, honest and forthright. We put in weep screeds and repaired areas where stucco was peeling. The team, including Salvador, worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently...but happily explained what they were doing and why. They took precautions which minimized the risk of damage to our property (there was none) and did a great job cleaning up after completing the job. Salvador has been working stucco for over 20 years, has owned his own business for over a decade, and the his team has been in place for 6 years. They are a well oiled machine and take pride in their work, including completing it on schedule. A neighbor who was watching their work stopped by, complemented them and asked if they could perform work for him. After asking questions to understand his needs, Salvador let him know the work he wanted was outside his area of expertise...as their name communicates, they are stucco specialists. read more

I have a rental property that suffered serious damage in February's huge rainstorm. The rain caused a crack in the stucco, causing a gap between the wall and foundation, which flooded the basement.I needed one whole side of the house repaired, the gap filled in and waterproofed, and the stucco replaced. Salvador and his crew came to my rescue, diagnosed and explained the repair process, and completed the job in under three days. I could not be happier with the results. They were prompt, thorough, and did an amazing job. I highly recommend this company. read more

These guys were fantastic. They were on time, polite, and professional. Salvador takes pride in his team's workmanship, and he worked closely with his team. Their communication was great, I felt like I got a fair price for the work, and I strongly recommend them. read more

My family and I do not often reach out to share our experiences via a review, but we were so impressed with the work of SSS Plastering in re-stuccoing our home. To say this was the most enjoyable contractor experience my wife and I have participated in would be an understatement. The professionalism starts with Salvador. Simply stated, his commitment to making sure you are happy with the outcome and customer service orientation is a welcomed part of working with SSS and unfortunately, is not common in most business relationships our family has encountered. That is why we recommend Salvador and his team without reservation. The formula is so simple, but so rare, and Salvador delivers to it. He creates open lines of communication, sets realized timelines and cares about the product that he delivers. There are many stories that I could share about his commitment to deliver a strong experience, but I will share one. His team took the precaution of shutting down our gas while doing the demo and forgot to turn it back on. We realized this late in the evening and called Salvador. Many would have said that they would stop by tomorrow. That is not Salvador. He was there within the hour despite it being late into the evening. He was also on the ground daily reviewing the work. The work was excellent (and isn't that what we care about?). The number of compliments from our neighbors and passers by has been the icing on the cake. When you are able to get the professionalism, customer-focus and exceptional craftmanship, it is awe-inspiring because I feel it is rare. SSS and Salvador delivered on all fronts. We have additional work that we invested in on the inside of the house because of how impressed we were with Salvador. Salvador and SSS are a rare breed and, from our experience, we would encourage you to run to his team if you want excellent work and customer-focus as part of the plastering renovation process. From our experience, you will not be disappointed. read more

I cannot recommend Salvador and his team enough. He's very knowledgeable, and took time with me to go through all of the steps of the process and considerations in choosing how to move forward with my stucco job. My house was a challenge to say the least: 100+ year old stucco, a mish-mosh of old patches, and areas of significant termite damage. His team was able to remove all the damaged areas quickly, assess and shore up the sub-structure, and get the scratch and base coats on in record time. They showed up at the same time every morning, and worked together like a well-oiled machine, setting up and tearing down each day in minutes. They stayed on top of debris removal as well, so at any given time during the project, there was minimal rubble, and I was still able to enjoy my backyard. I also wanted a custom color and a Smooth Santa Barbara finish, and instead of trying to talk me out of it (like other contractors), Salvador listened and worked with me to get the finish I wanted. I am so pleased with the beautiful results. This team takes pride in their work, and it shows! It was a pleasure working with them - I wish all contractors were this responsive and easy to communicate with. read more

Salvador did an incredible job of removing my home's siding and replacing it with stucco. I had originally awarded the contract to a different contractor. Unfortunately, that contractor was not working out, so a friend introduced me to Salvador. Salvador was a true professional. He has a no nonsense demeanor and is laser focused on completing the job on time and within budget. From the very beginning, Salvador explained what his plan was and let me know, step by step, how he was going to complete the job. There were no surprises, and he even let me know when he would staff down (and why) and when he would staff up with additional people. One part that I greatly appreciated was that Salvador had absolutely no fear of the permit process and inspectors. Other contractors would shy away from pulling permits. They would either try to find a workaround or ask me to pull the permit myself. Salvador confidently told me that he had never failed an inspection, showed me his contractor's license number and told me not to worry - and that's exactly what happened. I passed each stage of the inspection without any problems and easily sailed through the final inspection. The end result was beautiful. I will post a picture of the before and after of my home so you can see Salvador's work. It's the 2-story home that had green trim before. It now has a yellow stucco exterior with dark brown trim. I highly recommend Salvador and Stucco Solutions Specialists Plastering. read more

We bought our house a year ago knowing it would need stucco repairs as there was bubbling, peeling and rot due to water damage and the original stucco being painted previously with an oil-base paint. We thought we could just patch it but after getting numerous companies out to quote, we realised this wasn't going to be the case and that we needed to basically start from scratch. We found Salvador through Next Door and decided to go with his company as he seemed the most knowledgeable and his quote seemed realistic. The whole process of sandblasting is pretty hectic - but they did it all in one day thankfully. Salvador's team showed up for work on time every day and they took great care with every detail. We are so happy with the end result. We went for a smooth concrete look and it has transformed our house. We are so happy to be a reference for Salvador and welcome anyone that would like to see our house and the quality of his work. read more

Recently had an electrical panel replaced and needed to have the stucco repaired/replaced around the panel. Had quotes ranging $1500 to $2000 which sounded outrageous. Called Stucco Solutions who came out promptly and gave a quote that was roughly a 1/3 of the others. After the inspection of the panel was completed, I called Stucco Solutions and they had just finished a job so they came 2 hrs later. Laid paper down to protect the ground and was finished 3 hrs later. Installed the lath, brown, and finish coat all down properly. The finish matched my existing stucco to a tee! I didn't know the stucco color for them to match, but I have the paint so I painted afterwards myself. Couldn't be happier! Price was right, crew was neat and professional, mess was totally cleaned up after. They told me they also do big jobs like stucco the whole house. Will definitely use again if I ever neat a patch or re-do whole house. read more

Salvador and his assistant were absolutely superb. Even though the job was a minor one -- patching some minor but ugly damage to two walls -- they treated it with the care of a major assignment. Other contractors refused to come out to even look at the job because there was not enough money in it for them. Salvador and his company, Stucco Solutions, did not hesitate to help me and get the job done. They were models of competence, diligence and honesty. I would recommend them to all of my friends. His prices are very reasonable, far less than other quotes I received. Again, they went above and beyond to do a truly fine job. read more
