My suggestions are: 1. Allow the patient a little more time to wake up from anesthesia. I felt like I was still completely asleep when they rolled me out of the office. They should prepare the pickup person for the state the patient will be in. My husband was shocked when he saw me after - I was very out of it and had tons of blood in my mouth. 2. Prepare more thoroughly for what to expect in the first 24 hours. I thoroughly hydrated for three days in advance, because I'm used to being in Mardi Gras parades. I wasn't able to drink except from a plastic spoon about 7 hours after the surgery. I wonder if others think to hydrate. If not, it's a bit rough that first day. I was also really hungry for a few days. Just prepare people in advance, because it's not like we can run out and get food or cook the day of.

Instead of sending any single bill, they allow months to go by until someone calls my husband and tells him he needs to set up a payment plan or be sent to collections. He drives to both locations to pay. Only to start receiving calls from their collections company 3 days later. The office claims they did not send his account to collections, but the collections notice we received today states otherwise. They refuse to admit what they did, or call us back when we've tried to ask questions. Unless you're 100% sure your insurance will cover all of what you're having done- don't risk it.

What are they doing on day 5? Maybe they do not have many clientele or maybe the lack of clientele is due to the cost of their services? 2. Only see Dr. Schwartz (they have 2 other dentists there) and he is a nice guy, but he doesn't arrive to work on time thus causing patients to wait longer than average. For example, if you make an appointment for 8 am and arrive on a few minutes earlier out of courtesy, he doesn't arrive until AFTER 8 am (I know this because I overheard his assistants yell out to one another, "The doctor just arrived," and this was around 8:10 am). So you might as well arrive exactly at 8 am or possibly later. On top of this, installing a crown should not take 1.5 hours, but because he is such a "perfectionists" according to his assistants, you will have to wait...and wait...and wait. By the way, the crown he installed caused tooth sensitivity on a nearby tooth and he still could not resolve it after 2 visits so I'm basically just waiting it out until it gets unbearable. 3. Celeste Armstrong, the upbeat office manager appears friendly, but will use her demeanor to cover-up what her intentions truly are. For example, you request copies of your x-rays to be mailed to you and she immediately states their clinic can not email them because they do not have the technology to do so. OK, that's odd...so you tell her you need your x-rays still. She states she can mail them out. I told her ok great and confirm the mailing address with her. 2 weeks later, still no copies of x-rays so I ask her again and she states she did mail them out. Another 2 weeks past by and still no x-rays so I send her an email requesting the x-rays again and by law, her clinic is required to give copies of clients' x-rays. Here is her response, "I'm so so sorry. There must have been a misunderstanding. I thought we were going to wait for your insurance company to respond before we were going to mail out your x-rays." It's like, what in the world is going on here?!? There was no miscommunication. You just simply LIED and did not mail out my x-rays for whatever reason. Here's another funny story, she will inform you your insurance company will partially cover your procedure, but 3 months later, the insurance company states otherwise. So basically, you end up paying everything out of pocket and she doesn't tell you until you continue to ask about reimbursement. Very unethical woman (with a deceiving personality) and I did make sure to tell her this. 4. The clinic's rates are significantly higher than other clinics, but the service and outcomes does not dignify this practice. They overcharge their clients simple as that. Also, a basic teeth cleaning is not fully covered under any insurance because they overbill the insurance companies so you end up have to pay a portion of the bill still. Overall, I would highly NOT recommend this dental clinic due to their unethical practices, expensive rates, and average outcome.

A tentative date was set but I still had to go in and see the doctor and pay the $110. Today I went in and traded $110 and all of my medical history for a conversation on ethics. Despite the chronic TMJ pain, difficulty to repair the tooth (despite what he says), and constant food trappings, Dr. Harris likened my (and the referring orthodontist) desire for the tooth removal to a person wanting to amputate a leg because of a bruise. To arrive and have to pay $110 to get a lecture on "ethics" was a bit much. The ethical thing to do, in my opinion would be to look at the images sent weeks before by the orthodontist and get back to him and discuss it. But ethically, I'm the one dealing with the chipped wisdom tooth causing my idiomatic pain. Completely disgusted about this.

They've been sitting on a $50 credit on my account already and now am billing me for $61. I called and explained that I shouldn't be charged and was told nothing can be done. So they've billed me and actually stolen my $50 that they've been sitting on. I will find a new dentist.

That service is very hard to find, believe me I tried. One week later, I have tested negative for Covid, so no infection, and my tooth feels as good as new.
