A quick browse through the shop showed that this will be a welcome addition to the Stuart area. They appeared to stock all the top brands, as well as a great selection of fresh baits - both pre-rigged and natural. It appeared to be a shop that is well suited for the conditions in Stuart, with the near shore fish buffet call the Indian river in the front yard and the blue water bonanza just a couple of miles out the St Lucie inlet. And as an interesting twist, they are also carrying gear for the "sea hunters" stocking gear or the free divers. Everything from spear guns to wetsuits, masks, snorkels and other accessories for the blue water free diver ( as a shore based fisherman, I do carry some dive gear (hand held lights and a compact dive knife) as it is the best functioning, most reliable gear made. So when I do have tackle needs that I cannot fulfill out of my "store" they will be at the top of my list.

He basically told me I'm sol and the manner in which he told me was very condescending. I wasn't happy. I also reminded him that the bait he brought 2 weeks ago was horrible. It was thawed out several times it seems like and couldn't even hook it. His response it there's a shortage and whatever his supplier beings is what he have. He was the one also trying to pass off glass minnows as silverside to me a few months ago. Good thing I caught it as I was about to pay for it. Not a good experience dealing with him at all.

I'm a Glock girl and do not have any issues with that. Except, we can't bring our own weapons to work to qualify. With my hand and the fear of losing my job, I sought out Vinny to help with the basic fundamentals and learning new skills. And to get my confidence back. As soon as I contacted him and spoke with him, I could tell that he was very calm, understanding and I knew, (even over the phone) he could help. He had a great program, taught me things that I had forgotten from my law enforcement days and taught me some new skills. I totally recommend him if you are just starting with firearms, trying to keep up on training or just need someone to help with your confidence. After doing business with this place for at least…read more10 years, transferring multiple guns to me (passing multiple background checks) I ran into a problem. My latest background check is just stuck after 4 MONTHS. The gun shop flat out refuses to do anything. They will not make a phone call nor will they give me the federal transaction # so I can do it for them. Refuse to tell me why. I have been trying for months but I get nothing from them. They have my money, of course, but just told me to go to hell on the phone. I am doubting they ever ordered the background check at all. I don`t even know if they still have my gun, they won`t say. Unpleasant, unhelpful, miserable people. Also, the place is a dump. It is so dirty there is a haze in there. There are a lot of gun shops around here and the 6 that I called said, given these circumstances, "of course we would call". Now I have to get a lawyer and sue this place for a $500 gun. Unbelievable. USE A DIFFERENT GUN SHOP.
