Coming from a guy would save his hairbrush before his family photos in a house fire I thought I'd give them a try and, it paid off! I get my hair cut and colored at Zucci and have done-so for around two years now. I started there with long black hair which turned to mid-length blonde and then fire engine red with a fringe. Currently I'm sporting a Rihanna style blonde do that gets me compliments everywhere I go. I walk into Zucci, I set them the task and they always deliver every single time. Always friendly. Always open to suggestions. Always ready to take risks. There has not been a time that I've left Zucci with a frown or a bad word to say. Highly recommended.

Based on Yelp reviews, I went to take a look at the salon. It was very busy on a Wed afternoon, which I took as a good sign and made an appointment for Friday. Atsuko did a fantastic job cutting and coloring my hair. Her attention to detail was impressive - she spotted mistakes in my previous haircut that even I hadn't noticed, and was very careful the the color didn't splatter or run onto my skin or clothing. I brought some photos of my ideal cut - she did a great job marrying the style to what my hair actually does. She even gave me some tips on how to blow dry it better when I am doing it myself. Plus, she managed to pull this all off in less than 2 hours! (And it didn't feel rushed). My hair looks amazing and I am so happy with it! And even though they seem to always be busy, they are somehow able to fit people in on short notice so don't be shy about calling them.

I knew Razor Dolls wasn't full of barbers, but true artists. As soon you get past the skate decks on the walls and the books on tattoos, Razor Dolls has the friendly demeanor of your local corner barber shop. You just want to hang out with them after hours, sipping beers and discussing the latest dramas/events in their lives. In fact, I'm pretty sure they'll offer you a beer to sip while you're getting trimmed! I've had Ryan and Haley cut my hair, and every time they keep one-upping themselves for the best haircut ever. They take their time making sure everything is perfect, so make sure to plan ahead. For a men's cut & wash, it took me between around 60 minutes, and up to 90 minutes. You won't want to leave, but I've warned ya! The prices are definitely higher (for a men's cut) than any other salon I've been to, but worth it for the BEST haircut of your life. My girlfriend couldn't get over how sexy I looked.
