Worse experience I think I have ever had. I'm so disappointed because I was planning on buyer a few other items. We want to change our dining room set and bedroom. It won't be coming from Structube that's for sure. They don't know the meaning of customer service. I made a simple purchase of 1 item (buffet/sideboard) and the entire thing from start to finish took almost two months to resolve. What is clearly shown in multiple pictures I sent is a manufacturing defect. Their response times are horrible. It takes the 2-weeks to respond. I don't know how they operate but it's backwards. Save your money and go to a place like IKEA. I have so many items from there and the quality is better, the prices are good and their customer service exceeds in comparison. read more

Structube - Furniture Stores Near Me - Montreal, Quebec

So when I lived in Montreal, I purchased many items from this store and when I last visited the city, I brought my family in to check out the contemporary furnishings available for a decent price here. I was glad to see that they still catered to a modern aesthetic and their prices were still low. If one is looking to purchase heirloom pieces of furniture, to pass down to future generations, news flash: don't buy here. The furniture is not high-end and will not hold up with the passage of time, unquestionably. However, if you need to furnish an apartment and you don't want to spend thousands, and you like modern design and décor, this is a swell place to look. I'm not sure I'd get larger scale furnishings here, but for smaller tables and ottomans and dining chairs, this is a great place. And for accessories, this is an amazing place! There are lots of artwork and vases and table sculptures and lamps and throw pillows and the like. I'm not sure if the store's policies have changed but, in years past when I shopped here, the store delivered pieces to my apartment and I didn't have to assemble anything (unlike, say, if you shop at Ikea). read more

Wow, those previous comments are not good ... For my part, I've never had to complain about the quality of their product so far. I had a kitchen set from that brand and it lasted approximately 6 years with two young children around! I went to this location because it was the only one downtown that had the sectional which I was interested in and because I like to visualize what I buy first. The sellers were very friendly and gave me relevant information about delivery options. etc. I finally bought said sectional plus a kitchen set which I will receive later on this month due to a stock shortage (the delivery costs $ 70 btw). 3 days later, I finally got my sectional, the delivery guys were very early (delivery at 8 am sharp) and very efficient. Now the product, the color was the same as in store and the assembly was quite simple... Well, until I realized that there was a problem: the steel hooks used to attach the two sections weren't symmetrical therefore impossible to unite..... Soooo I had to put on my "Bob the Builder" costume, disassemble and reassemble it like a real pro. I am satisfied with the product, but I would have really preferred not having to do this extra exercise, especially given the price that I've paid. I ordered a bench online on January 7, received a shipping confirmation without a tracking number. I call, they send me the Canada Post tracking info. A few days later the tracking is still not updated. I call again, they open a ticket they say I will hear back. A few days later, still nothing, I call again, speak to someone who says it's out of their hands because it's Canada Post's issues. Thing is my order hadn't left their warehouse yet, so Canada Post couldn't help me. I call again, the person finally tells me: "oh, yes it seems the warehouse LOST YOUR ORDER, I will go ahead and create a new order for you." WOW, but okay. I received a reference number to an opened ticket from a department looking into problem orders that I can't even speak to directly. We are now January 28. Still no news from that secret department no one can speak to. I wanted to cancel today and turns out, I CAN'T! Because they are "processing my request" and I have to let the "process" run it's course. So now I am $218.80 short, no bench, and my order seems to be in limbo with no one at Structube being able to tell me exactly where it is. And yes, the website does say the item is "in stock". I order online all the time from many companies, and I can say this is the worse online purchase/costumer service experience I have ever had! It shouldn't be this hard. read more

Salespeople at the store itself are very nice but online customer service (and Structube's garbage online shopping experience) are terrible! The CSRs take days to respond to a simple question and then they don't even read the question, just copy/paste some irrelevant "response". Over and over again. We ordered our $1500 table and were so excited to have a beautiful, versatile table for hosting our dinners with friends and the holidays. It has been 4 months and we still haven't gotten our table. In the beginning we understood, it is handmade and they promised it would be at least shipped by the end of September (We ordered in July). It is now the last week in October and not only has it not shipped, but their customer service number is going straight to voicemail and they haven't responded to emails asking about our order. We spoke to a few other people who ordered the same table and they are now working to get refunds. Sadly we may have to go the same route and dispute this as a scam. They took our money, never delivered a product and are now not responding or sending out communication to their customers about why there is a delay or offering solutions. It is a shame because the product looks excellent, those who have it love it however the way they are running this business is unethical. If you are considering ordering this be aware of the negativity and scam work being reported. I wouldn't be surprised if this place gets shut down. Money isn't everything. Decency and courtesy in customer service go further. read more

I wish I could comment on the quality of the furniture but it still has not arrived months after ordering. Now I'm being told that it will sit in their warehouse in Montreal for another 3 weeks before it ships to BC taking an additional 2 weeks. Don't put online that your product will be back in stock on Oct 9 if you don't plan to ship it until Nov 11. Their customer service is beyond appalling. The sales associates aren't able to answer questions about the quality of the furniture. I've had some pieces from there for a few years now. They do not hold up. The cheap polyurethane seats are cracked, the veneers on the table start lifting. I would not recommend getting furniture from here. read more

Never recommend you to shop with them even on their online shop. Worst customer service, once you place your order, they will never answer your call. I placed my order two months ago, still got nothing from them. And now even impossible to reach them through any methods. January 28 2014 I normally don't like to write reviews, but in this case I hope you find this helpful. I was introduced to Structube by a coworker, and I found their collection to be exactly what I am looking for without the heavy price tag. I was looking for a new bedroom set and decided to visit the Structube location on rue Saint-Denis. After spending a lengthily time with lots of questions for the sales associate, it became apparent that the sales associate was becoming irritated with my questions and concerns. I notified the sales associate that I will be returning to purchase the bedroom set in February after my two week business trip. The sales associate became arrogant and walked away from me. Last week while on my business trip I was contemplating whether or not I should continue to do business with Structube, after my less than great experience. I was on the company website searching and reviewing bedroom sets, when I noticed that there was a Structube in the Kingston area. I made the decision to visit this location and inquire other concerns about assembly. It took me an hour to find the Kingston location, (the address of this location should state that it is located in a Rio-Can area) and when I entered the store, I was surprised that there was no one in the store. I walked the entire store looking at items that were not in the other location. As I was nearing the entrance of the store, I noticed there was two sales associates sitting down, watching videos on their cell phones! What type of customer service does Structube train in their employees?! As I walked toward the door the two associates stood up frantically and didn't offer to help me. My first experience was from a perturbed sales associate and my second experience was from two nonfunctional associates. If you are looking for great furniture and unacceptable customer customer service, this is the place to shop! What I found more upsetting was, I am unable to contact the Structube head office and instead I am forced to write a poor review. read more
