Location is prime and will goes with the product/price range they have. You could also splurge on yourself and get something really nice like fancy measuring cups and whisks. The only thing I've ever bought here was a cookie cutter in the shape of a ginger bread man for christmas cookies I was baking for some friends and family. It was a very normal cookie cutter but it cost me around 3$. I'm not sure what the base price of a cookie cutter is but I did feel like this was a bit more expensive than I thought. Obviously, some items can get quite expensive but I feel like the quality makes up for it.

Like all Winners and Homesense, it can be hit or miss but I've walked away with more hits than misses at this particular location. Recipe books, rugs, olive wood cutting boards, vanity mirrors, hand-blown glass vases from Poland, you'll find all of that here and much more. I think because this location is farther away from the city center, it seems to stock better stuff. Not a big deal. If you're on the metro, it is about 20 minutes from downtown, but keep your ear buds on or read a book and you'll be here in no time. Also, if you like picking up and collecting quality recipe books, this Homesense is the best place for it. I have picked up classics like the 2 volume boxed set of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child, the classic of Italian cooking "The Silver Spoon", "The Gourmet Cookbook Vol. I and II", all of it in hardcover and for a fraction of what you would pay for them anywhere else. The Julia Child set I often see online for $60+. I picked it up here for $30. It's always worth stopping here and looking because stock changes all the time here and you'd be very surprised what you'll find.
