The vehicle had a very minor issue and Dorian (the owner) was a complete gentleman when I called and informed him of the matter. He offered to help me with several options, of which, I chose the offer of cash to correct the the issue. Dorian had absolutely no obligation to do anything for me, however, he went above and beyond to help me out. Cash For Cars has an excellent assortment of high quality vehicles for affordable prices. Their detailing department is top notch also, VERY CLEAN! Every employee that I spoke with there was genuinely friendly. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is in the market for a great used vehicle at a great price!! 2 thumbs up! I'm so glad I visited Cash For Cars in my search for a vehicle!

The response given to my rev is laughable and totally untrue. This is 100% a shady business and my…read morefamily is not the only ones who have reported them to Consumer Affairs and the BBB. The representative from Consumer Affairs who helped us with getting some of our money back told us they have SEVERAL reports against them for the exact same Yo-Yo scam and they settle to sweep it under the rug. I guess there are a few people who got good service, but we and the other people who filed claims against them are not ones who got even acceptable service. You can plainly see in the owners response he accepts no responsibility or accountability for the actions of his employees and company. Thankfully my daughter found a REPUTABLE company and bought a be vehicle, 3 years newer and low in price through the same lender she was told denied her, with NO hassle and has already paid it off!!!!! We STILL don't understand how she was "supposedly" turned down by the same lender who approved her a few weeks later, especially since they said they had no record of a denial in their system. Like I said before, this company does shady business and I would steer very clear from them if I were you!! Also, do your research on companies before doing business with them and always check with the BBB and Consumer Affairs, I wish we had!!

I would HIGHLY recommend Route 66 Auto to anyone who needs service on their car…read more When my a/c went out I had it repaired at a shop in Myrtle Beach... only to have it blow only hot air again 3 days later. Next I tried Route 66 Auto - and I am sooo glad I did! My problem was very unusual, and not easily diagnosed. He also performed some needed maintenance I requested, as well as found the reason my car had been running a little rough. She now purrs like a kitten & keeps me icy cold when it's hot outside. The price was very reasonable & was much less than replacing the compressor, which was what I feared would be the solution. Edgar's knowledge & experience has extended the life of my beloved 2006 Hyundai Sonata, and has her running like she was brand new. I knew Edgar personally as a man of integrity, but had never sought him for car repair, since Loris is a bit of a drive from where I live... but saving time, frustration & money from having to take my car in for multiple visits for the same issue is WELL WORTH the drive from Myrtle Beach!
