Office was clean, Kiering coffee while you wait and my daughter was taken back as soon as we arrived, no wait! ...so much for my coffee :) . Dr. Brown and his assistant were amazing and very comforting to my VERY anxious teenager. The procedure went smoothly and she was in little to no pain after having 3 wisdom teeth extracted. The secretary at Amwell dental heard my symptoms and made time for me straight away. Throughout my visit, I was met with such wonderful, competent, professional and friendly staff. I don't think I've ever waited past 10 minutes either. I usually do show up to my appointments a few minutes early so I'm usually seen on time. This dentist office has a great teeth whitening program too - one time $99 fee (to get a mold of your teeth for custom trays) and whitening gel as long every time you show up for your routine cleaning - it's a super good deal!! This dentist office was recommended to me and I'll continue recommending them as well!

They tried to convince me to stay by saying, "it's not covered but you only need to pay a 'in-network rate'," even though they couldn't estimate the cost of the surgery. When I was on the operating table a month later, they informed me that I only needed to pay $630. I was already seated; what can I do now? At that time, I paid in full. That being said, a year later, I received a bill informing me that I needed to pay an extra $288 to make up the difference between the insurance payment. I would now be paying more than $900 in total. The procedure would only have cost Horizon BCBS $350 out of pocket if they had simply told me to leave and find another dentist. Update: The manager, Arianna, called me, and we walked through everything. I consider the issue solved, as we both did what we can in this situation.

It was an awkward and impersonal experience that was not what I had been accustomed to. This prompted me to search for a new dentist who took a more personal approach. I came across Dr. Dave at Cornerstone via a friend's recommendation and he has been amazing. I have only seen him twice, yet we speak like old buddies. He remembered my kids' names and what they've been up to. Lastly, I also want to give mad props to Dawn who did my cleaning. She is the same way as Dr. Dave, very pleasant and great to talk to as well. I couldn't be happier here.
