What a great experience we had today with Dillon and his entire crew. Even in the heat and humidity…read morethey kept their cool and carried on! And it was really fun to watch them operate their state of the art equipment. Dillon shared his expertise freely and gave us much needed advice. We had been putting off dealing with some scary dead and hazardous trees, but we're so happy we did. Busch Tree service is professional, friendly, and we wholeheartedly recommend them!

In about 3 hours time, the 4 man crew from Busch Tree Service removed two good sized trees, that…read morewere too close to the house as well as not producing leaves, and ground down a stump in the front yard. This included cleaning up all of the deadwood and reseeding the area where the stump was. My wife and I are very happy with the results as well as the very fair price we were quoted. I highly recommend Busch Tree Service for their quality work and efficiency. Will definitely have them back for other tree work on the property.

And they kept on refusing for several minutes DESPITE repeated requests to stop before doing irreversible damage. The owner John Field, was extremely rude and arrogant and the only way I could get his workers to stop was by calling the police. A competent owner would instruct his workers to check with the homeowner BEFORE cutting a tree. Also, when I asked the foreman to stop the cutting, he lit a cigarette and blew smoke in my face.

Once completed, the only evidence that this mammoth (4) tree removal was completed is that there are no dead trees on our property. The work was completed quickly and the clean up wonderful. I used Ron Yaple at Race Mt as a consultant on a big old maple. I had gotten conflicting opionions…read morefrom two sources previously in the process of getting quotes on dealing with several trees. Ron took a more thorough look at the maple than the others had, one of whom had said it should come down and one of whom thought it would be fine with some wiring and pruning. Ron came down on the side of cutting it down but for a totally different reason than the other guy who was not a certifed arborist and who's reasoning Ron disagreed with. In the end he saw a hard to see flaw in the tree that neither of the others had noticed. In the process of watching Ron's thorough inspection and listening to his anaysis I concluded he had the best judgement about what to do.

Today, there is only one company of those 30 still employed here by us, and that is Haupt Tree. In a geographic area where it can be difficult to find real professionals, Haupt stands out. The company is highly responsive and completes every single task with excellence. Having a large property with a lot of trees, they are here frequently. Among the services they provide us: spraying for ticks, deep root fertilization, protective spraying/injection of trees and shrubs, tree and large shrub pruning, tree removal, new tree selection and installation, tree cabling, etc. Speaking as someone who has hired many arborists and tree-related experts over the years, I'll say Haupt is by far the best. Everyone who comes here is friendly and knowledgeable. Their equipment is incredibly impressive: new, gleaming, and task-specific. If I write Erik with a question, I get an answer back immediately. The office staff is sharp, responsive and friendly. It is no exaggeration to say we do not have another group helping us with exterior maintenance that even comes close. I unreservedly recommend Haupt should you have any tree-related question or issue. They are consummate professionals and will help you take the best possible care of the most important part of your landscape.

FInd another company to do business with, because this one does not follow through on their promised work and they do not respect the customer.

KDF really ticks all of the boxes. Responsive, communicative and generally top tier customer…read moreservice from start to finish. Precise and efficient work from a team that clearly works well together...they did exactly what they said they would. Very tidy clean-up. The price tag ultimately felt like really good value for everything they provide. We had a particularly complicated tree (very tall and right next to power lines and the house), and they were both willing to take on the challenge (unlike some other companies) and handled it perfectly. Their big cranes, which most other local companies don't have, differentiate them as much as the guys who do the truly impressive work. Highly recommended.

It has been easy to get understandable quotes and the quotes were honored. They also noted which trees could wait for removal or didn't need to be removed. They have cleaned up afterwards, and left or taken wood as we asked. In short, it has been a pleasure dealing with them at every turn. It feels like they are an "old-school" company in that they offer excellent service at a fair price, communicate clearly and respectfully, do what they say they will do, and offer helpful advice and information in the process. I cannot imagine using any other service as long as KDF is in business. I enthusiastically recommend them in the strongest possible way.
