He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly. He spent about 20 minutes discussing the project and provided a detailed quote within a day. His pricing was very competitive and his customer service was top notch. Their AI bot was responding to the point that I was frustrated. Eventually I answered that their scheduling didn't work for me. At that point, a person intervened and told me the AI bot took over and gave me a date that worked for me. She said a confirmation was forthcoming. When I responded ok, the bot seemed to take over again. I believe the date and time I was given was a Thursday at noon because the Wednesday at noon was unavailable. But I didn't receive a confirmation. So Wednesday comes around and I'm not expecting anyone. I'm working from home in pajamas when the doorbell rings. I scramble to get dressed when I realize this person isn't leaving and might be one of the companies I scheduled. I came outside and received a friendly greetings. I apologized for being delayed and explained that I was expecting them the next day. I opened up the gate and we spent about ten minutes going over what I wanted. I was advised that I would be sent an estimate probably the following day. I never received an estimate. The writing was all over the walls. The people I dealt with were nice, but the situation with the AI bot and not getting a quote back, unfortunately didn't inspire confidence.

UPDATE: We finally made contact with a company representative and had them provide quotes for our…read morecommunity's common area fences that ended up being a much better deal than other companies that had already bid on the same job that included several wooden fences and a stretch of metal fencing. We had iron fences replaced on the greenbelt along six houses and chose a type of fencing (Ameristar) that is rust-resistant with an extended life expectancy. With the fencing, two of the neighbors also asked for gates to be installed (at their own expense) - the gates were to be made of the same material as the fences but the ones initially installed were not. There were obvious chunks out of the powder-coating and rust was already visible in the open spots where the metal was bare... it was obvious they were not Ameristar brand gates that the homeowners paid for. After several complaints and a couple visits by QA, the gates were replaced with the gates that should've been installed originally... The company had some issues with billing that we had to work out (as in, the cash discount was not listed on the invoice as such and would be worked in at the end with the final payment... it wasn't crystal clear). After all was said and done, the job was successfully completed and everyone was pleased with the work accomplished. There were difficulties that needed to be worked but, overall, the project ended on a good note. Therefore, I've raised our initial one-star rating to the three-star it is now. If you want a company that will do a job for you with minimal oversight, this one may not be the one for you. Initial post: I have sent several requests for quotes to the company via their "contact us" section of their website and have heard NOTHING back from them. How do they stay in business if they are this non-responsive?!? They installed fencing in our neighborhood approximately 15 yrs ago and we were hoping to have them replace the fencing with new fencing in the same style, etc. This would've been a great job for them because many of the fences in the neighborhood are at the age where they are going to need to be replaced soon... This is a MAJOR lost opportunity.

One last word on "Quality" Fence and yelp reviews. I certainly wish I had read the reviews posted…read moreby others before me, about the company on yelp. They were all terrible as well! So do yourself a favor and always check yelp before spending this much money with a company, reviews don't lie! BTW, the last word from the company was that because of Covid, they don't have the best quality of wood to work with, big bummer and big waste of money! Then they wanted to charge $45 to have someone come take a look and when I told the I'm just looking for a quote and could even send pictures, he said, "I'm going to repeat this again." and just started going off, again extremely rude. I own multiple homes and I'm constantly working with contractors, and I've never once been talked to like that. I literally had to hang up the phone, wouldn't give these jokes one penny.
