I live way out in the middle of nowhere and have two dogs who keep me company. Muncie has a reputation, and honestly we have earned it. however, Culligan has not let me down. And the system functions beautifully. As advertised! Our water is very hard, our well is 209 feet deep. Delicious to drink, but it needs softening. I have been following Culligans regimen faithfully and 6 months after installation, no problems so far.

The installers put the intake water from the hot water line from my water heater. So, obviously my electric water bill would probably be higher than normal and causing the ro filter,membrane, and bladder in my tanks to go bad sooner. Also, i had a 20 gallon tank installed by culligan and there is no shutoff valve. I was going to buy a softener as well but decided to go elsewhere. I hope this is not a corporate trend and isolated to bad local management. Culligan name is all they have, hence my softener purchase elsewhere. There are more options out there now,more than ever.
