Working out has been a part of my weekly routine since I was in my 20s, and I've done a few types of routines, including high intensity kickboxing, interval training, and yoga. When I injured my shoulder after two years of kickboxing, I knew I had to make a change. Exercise Coach's format is surprisingly effective. You really don't have to sweat buckets to achieve your goals! Strength training has helped me tremendously, and I've seen a dramatic change in my body as a result. When I started at Exercise Coach in Sept 2020, I wanted to lose weight. With a change in my diet (i.e., eating better, and most importantly, eating smaller portions)--combined with strength training at Exercise Coach--I dropped 45 pounds in 10 months, and have kept it off after all this time. The environment is also fun, with clients chatting together during the workout. It makes the 20 minutes go by very quickly! They are a bit expensive (especially compared to the Rec Center), but I wouldn't go anywhere else.
