I stopped here to fill up before our longer pit stop in San Antonio. This Stripes, as of May 30, 2025, sold Sunoco fuel which is generally priced low and my Jeep does well on it. Fuel prices that spring morning: Diesel =$2.68 Regular = $2.42 (87 Octane) Plus = $2.82 (89) Premium = $3.12 (93) It was there on the corner where tons of traffic was flowing and trucks pulling in and out that I saw a deserted, concerned-looking dark-colored lab. My heart sank, but not only did I not have room in my Jeep, I am maxed out on pets per city code at my house. read more

I travel this road fairly frequently and this particular convenience store/gas station is always filled with people and cars at the pump gassing up. It's location is a prime location for what I imagine to be large revenue. It has been here for a very long time. At one point it was my favorite place to stop for a snack for a bathroom break and to stretch my legs. I have not stopped here in quite some time. I was so disgusted by the condition of the bathrooms. I'm not speaking of the cleanliness because I'm sure the employees do their best with what they have. Everything in there is just old and rusty everything that can have rust does have rust on it. Even the outside looks old and worn. I was so grossed out by everything in there. If I could give zero stars to this place I would 100% give zero stars. I don't typically review convenience, stores or gas stations, but this one was pretty ridiculously gross. This place probably makes enough money to do at least a partial remodeling or updating of their business. Just disgusting. read more

Just stopped for coffee and hour ago and was notified of a fraudulent charge to Walmart for $78.00. They must have a card reader inside the store. I used the register closest to the front window. I tried to call many times to notify them, but they don't answer. Tried corporate, no answer. Buyer be ware. Big truck stop so there'll be a lot of rip offs. read more

This place is absolutely appalling. The bathrooms are filthy,and there's no resources in the restrooms. No toilet paper,soap,or paper to dry your hands. Couldn't pay with cash only card,no sign saying so. Just ridiculous. I beg of you to avoid this place if you can. Especially if you have to use the restroom. Unless you want to get stuck on the toilet with no toilet paper,screaming out to strangers if they can spare some sort of napkin. read more

Most frustrating gas station ever. Mostly due to the potential of it being the best one for 75 miles, but not being properly managed. I passed this place in the early morning 6 days a week for over a year. There are quite literally over a thousand wind energy, oil field, wire line, and ranch workers that get sent to this part of Texas non-stop. Almost all of us head into work between 4:30-6am. Every morning the checkout line is routinely 15 people deep, you're lucky if the coffee pots are half full, and the sandwiches that workers who live in hotel rooms with no grocery store options for 20 miles buy like hot-cakes for lunch are gone by 5:15am. The facilities are by far the nicest of any gas station in the area. Hire a person dedicated to constantly brewing coffee, a few more people to make sandwiches, someone who knows where every chew/cigarette product is located, 3 more cashiers (the registers are already there), and you will be printing your own money. If people knew this place wouldn't tack on 10-20 minutes of waiting just to check out to an already early morning, you couldn't stop them from patronizing. read more

Lots of bathrooms and the best grab and go gas station food I've ever had. Corn dogs and popcorn chicken look stale but taste great! Only downside is the higher gas price but when you need to fill up what can you do? read more

For breakfast tacos--If you have unlimited time and it doesn't bother you to see ONE woman making tacos while two others stand around doing nothing while a dozen or more people are waiting for their orders, then go. Homemade flour tortillas are being cooked by another, but we finally left after paying because they didn't get ours made in the 20+ minutes we waited. The ingredients are all ready, so all that has to be done is to spoon them onto the tortilla; but the two women waiting around at the cash register don't have any interest in helping with the backup of orders.
