Half their gas pumps seemed to be out of order .... Half their stalls in the women's restroom were out of order too .. z But the cashier was super up-beat and nice. His vibe brought the whole place up ! read more

I guess Barbie mis-read the name of the popular convenience store, she didn't see the "e" in Stripes, but that was completely fine with me, and there weren't any families watching. She did inspire a few families to be started, though. Massive shiny new and very cute gas station with cute toys, cute employees, and just in general I think cute is a good word for this gas station. They serve tacos in here and no, not that kind. I saw myself on TV, as you see. Fun times. Barbie likes it here, spent a good 10 mins inside, and almost bought some fluffy toys here. She was being bitchy outside which I always like, and we also got gas here and it was pretty damn cheap - quite a lot cheaper than Houston. We sometimes get water here but never soda. read more

Just got told we couldn't order 10 tacos. No one was in line behind us. When I asked what would happen if there were 5 people on line behind us that wanted 2 tacos apiece how would he handle that he responded "for big orders like that you have to call in."Who calls into a gas station taco stand to place an order. Dumb dumb dumb. read more

For the past month, the cappuccino machine has been broken. When it is brought to the workers attention, they respond "ya we know, but our budget doesn't allow us to get it fixed". Also the sugar free vanilla is always out. The store employees respond " ya we know, but we sell a lot of it, and can only order so much". The store is always a mess, sticky floors, Nasty smelly restrooms. All the food looks old and dated. It is as if the employees don't care about customer service, they have no pride in their work. It is so sad, the store isn't even that old less then 2 yrs and one of the cappuccino machines doesn't work at all, and the other only the hot chocolate works. This problem needs to be addressed asap. read more

Annie's from the outside looks like a decent place to make a pit stop. It's really a gas station with a steam table set up of some fast food. FYI this is Not real BBQ like you find at authentic BBQ places in Austin. The BBQ here is stewy like in sauce yet dries out quickly because of no proper covers on it. First off if you stop early they do have a hot fast food section of food like breakfast burritos and meats. I've been in there at 8:30 am and still wasn't impressed enough to purchase any of the breakfast food. It dries out real quick (no covers) and I don't like crusty looking food. By afternoon their food looks even more petrified. I think if you purchase something from that section it's best to get something as soon as the lady brings in a fresh pan of it. I'd rather go to the Sonic across the street for fresh fast food. Actually I've found most items higher priced over their competition south of them on hwy 105 on the east and west sides of the freeway. I got ticked off when I bought hostess marshmallow sno balls and they charged me $2.37 plus tax and I found them at Walmart for $1.00 no tax an hour later. When I walked into the hall way it was clean, and the women bathroom was spotless, and didn't stink. The guy at the register was really nice and helpful. Be forewarned, however, Valero's U-Force brand of energy drinks are, shall we say, an acquired taste. While I'm always up for trying a new source of energy, and I mistakenly picked up a "Lemon Lime Rita," somehow missing the 'rita component. While nonalcoholic, it does contain a number of very odd flavors, none of which should be consumed in broad daylight.

There were boxes of new products sitting on some aisles - you could tell they were restocking. In the middle of the store there was quite a bit of premade food to choose from under heat lamps. The line moved very fast with 2 employees working. I would stop here again.

This store needs a better manager that isn't afraid to stand up for costumers safety. My partner and I were kicked out after confronting a non mask wearer because of the staffs lack of responsibility during this NATIONAL PANDEMIC! This woman was then serviced after she threatened me and my partners lives. If you value your health and the safety of your loved ones avoid this store at all costs. Ps, wish I could give this store a negative star review. read more
