He did a few extra things for us that made a big difference in how the finish of the flooring looked and we couldn't be more pleased. Matt came out and gave us an estimate on the work to be done, which included leveling our slab flooring and then installation of the vinyl and laminate flooring we picked. I wanted to go seamlessly through the house so we bought vinyl plank flooring that could go in every room including the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry since they are waterproof. Matt started to work after we agreed on a VERY FAIR rate, better than most installers. He cleaned up the floors where we had removed the nasty carpet in our newly purchased home and then leveled the floors out in the spots that needed it. After a week's work, which every day we came over to see more and more of a dramatic shift from the previous to the new, Matt finished up the work including putting down the shoe molding and edging around the fireplace. Matt's work was excellent and I highly recommend him for any projects. Trust me when I say I shop around for contractors and Matt and Unique Flooring was the absolute best choice I could not be happier with the results of his work. He is a definite master craftsman.

We had purchased this island from IKEA and didn't want the wood top that came with it - Juan came out and just had the perfect suggestions on color and style and AM I GLAD I LISTENED TO HIM! Right down to the counter top finishes. He and his wife worked with me for months - because we had some family illness that we had to deal with in between our selections. Finally he sent his team out when we were ready - and WOW - I love the countertops and the style.
