I started out with French onion soup. It seemed to just be beef broth with some undercooked onions and too much bread. For my meal I asked the waitress for recommendations. She said one of her favs is the steak quesadilla so I went with that. Once I picked it up and took a bite, It was absolutely just pouring grease all over my plate. I think the peppers and onions were probably just overoiled for the sake of sautéing and the grease was just absolutely disgusting. It also made the quesadilla quite soggy. Someone else in our group had the cowboy quesadilla though and enjoyed it. Another in our party had the chicken fingers. She's a chicken finger connoisseur and gave them a 6 out of 10. They looked delicious but she said they could have been crispier. My fiance had the caprese burger. He said it came up short in the cheese department and he has definitely had better specialty burgers. But the fries were enjoyable. Our waitress was oh so helpful making decisions from a great menu - good looking plates passing us by as they came out of the kitchen made for tough choices! We settled on two pasta dishes - steak Gorgonzola and the Cajun chicken. Although looked a bit too watery, we both agreed that a quick stir and a bit of cooling made for a perfect consistency. Portions were large enough for leftovers. Yes, we'll be returning very soon.

The air-conditioned dining area was very well suited for laying out our huge buffet around the perimeter. Even on the hottest of days, we did not have to worry about food safety. We had the use of the bathrooms for all of our guests. We use the outdoor pavilion for additional banquet, seating, and we hired a live band to play for 4 hours. Our youngest guests took full advantage of the playground. We brought our own cornhole, lawn, bowling, hatchet, throw games. All in all, we enjoyed a child's birthday party on Friday, a family memorial service on Saturday morning, and a high school graduation party on Saturday afternoon.
