I started Stretch Lab as an alternative to yoga for deep stretching. It's been great! I'm more flexible than in high school. Thank you!

Basically, you get to do a heated workout in the infrared saunas at Hotworx and follow it up with a cold plunge at Arctic Bath & Coffee after. What a rush! Heated workouts aren't my favorite, as I usually get a little lightheaded, but the friendly team at Hotworx talked me through the info and let me know that I could just take a breather if the heated workout was too much. Your time in the sauna is your time, so you spend it how you need to. I tried the hot yoga, where up to three people can do yoga side by side. You have to use their Hotworx mats and towels, but they had plenty to utilize. They also had foam rollers available, which was a nice touch. The other sauna choices had things like row machines and stationary bikes, and I thought it was cool that you could do workouts like that in the saunas. I may try the rowing next time. They also have a free weights gym area in the middle of the facility, and anyone at Hotworx can use it while they are there. It's a members only studio, so the main door is locked unless you have your member access. You just book the session you want (or as many as you want) and head in to get a great workout! I highly recommend trying out the fire and ice combo they are doing with Arctic Baths next door. It's so rejuvenating to get in an awesome sweat at Hotworx and instantly cool down your body (literally) in a cold plunge right after. And the teams at both businesses couldn't be nicer.

I've been attending her classes consistently for the past 4 years, and no one else compares. I've tried other trainers and always walk away a bit disappointed. Tiffany delivers every single time. Her routines are top-notch--thoughtfully designed to hit all major muscle groups while incorporating cardio in a way that's both challenging and energizing. She never misses, brings great energy, and I genuinely look forward to her class every Sunday. I feel it when I miss! Honestly, I wish she offered more sessions... and I'd love to know--what happened to her spin classes?? Now for the hard part... Unfortunately, the facility she's forced to teach in has been in disrepair for far too long--going on about two years. The ceiling leaks, which has caused the floor to warp, and there are orange cones marking unusable areas. On top of that, the air conditioning is unreliable, and the room can get uncomfortably hot--especially during an intense workout. This brings to mind the "broken window" concept--the idea that when small issues are left unaddressed, it signals a lack of care and attention, which often leads to bigger problems. When a business allows visible maintenance issues to persist, it sends a message--not just about the space, but about standards and priorities. It's disappointing because there are truly great instructors here like Tiffany who deserve a facility that matches the quality they bring every single week. Fix the space. Support your trainers. Your members will notice--and appreciate it.

Air conditioning is frequently broken. On several occasions buckets collecting water from roof leaks. Not the best LA Fitness out there.

But I love the buzz at the gym. Love seeing people!! For me, the busier the better. It means they will be around for the future. Best part is going through the 30 minute machine line and then focus on a particular muscle group. I lost 40 lbs over a 4 year period and got back into my 40 year old shape by going to Crunch. I did use a personal trainer for 10 sessions at the beginning of my journey. I told him I wanted to get "Cruise Hardened". It worked. No injuries on cruises for the last 5 years. And my fellow cruisers on Celebrity think I am in my 60's. On Carnival they think I'm 55. But they are mostly drunk.

I have not tried the infrared sauna, but I do like the fact that they continually invest in making this gym better. I know that I am not the only person in the area that likes this gym because rush hour during the week, it is nearly impossible to find a parking spot. Group fitness classes also have a tendency to fill up fast, but everyone that I have met in the classes have been very nice. Crunch is continually updating and refreshing their equipment and it is evident. I left crunch to go to amped because they are 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but I feel like I lost out on a lot of stuff so I came back.
