Anytime something breaks, you can guarantee that it will sit there unrepaired for months. For example, at the Vanwinkle location, 5 of the 10 stairclimbers have been broken for the last three months. 3 of the 5 leg extensions, same story. Weights are missing, scattered, and nobody puts them back properly in their right place. Gym wipes consistently out. There has been numerous times where there is no toilet paper in their men's stalls. Also numerous times where staff isn't there at opening time (Brickyard and Vanwinkle!) and have been up to 2 hours late! Staff just doesn't care! I was so mad once I started at EOS (Trolley Square) to realize it doesn't have to be that way. They have a high volume of members, yet their facilities are clean, in order, well equipped, AND NOTHING IS BROKEN!

The gym truly has every piece of equipment that I can think of and more. The dumbbell rack is fantastic, with weight pairs that far exceed the typical 100s at most gyms. The leg workout equipment is FANTASTIC. On top of it all, the owner, Robert Myers, is on site and very friendly. He recognized me as a guest and immediately introduced himself. Next time I find myself in SLC, I will choose my hotel to be near this gym!

There are multiple spaces-the lobby/lounge area has several couches and seats to hang out in, then the main studio space where the event takes place and then more seating in smaller rooms in the back. It's a neat space that has both a tranquil/peaceful vibe as well as a cool social vibe. I love all the live plants-they just add to the overall experience. Parking can be dicey-as with anywhere along this street. But once the construction is done, it might be a little easier to navigate.

The studio and restroom are super clean and bright. There are storage caddies to place your personal belongings in. The staff at the front desk makes me feel so welcomed. All smiles and good energy, which makes such a difference! I usually enjoy their "express" class. It's 45 mins, but condensed, easy to follow, and fast-paced. What's so important to me is how the instructor provides training and corrects my posture. I believe the right posture and movements make a difference for an optimal result. Sounds and looks like an easy class, but it's fun and challenging. Most importantly, I feel amazing after. One of the reasons why this studio makes me feel like it's something to look forward to.

Rebel House has built a great community among their members and have fun challenges and themed classes for people to participate in every month.
